Tapasvi POV:

"Ugh what was that?", without seeing tapasvi kicked thinking it's a pillow or something..

Thud-dd!! A sound followed with a scream..

"Ouch" someone shouting in pain?

I turned on lights and took a look down to find my husband in pain..

Oh my god!
"I'm so sorry", I thought it's pillow saying that I gave my hand to help him..

No thanks I can help myself. He got up on his own and climbed on the bed rubbing his elbow, maybe it hurt a lot I thought..

"I'm so sorry", I said trying to check his wound..

No it's ok I'm fine. He said..

When did you came back? I asked him..

"Last night!"

Oh you should have waken up me.. And why did you slept on this very end? I asked..

Because you filled the other half of the bed with albums and photos, I'm very much tired I don't want to do any
"Swatch bharat programme" so slept here he said..

I giggled listening to his talks..
To which he gave his angry looks, I tried to hide my smile..

Ok can I help you putting balm? I asked opening the cap of the balm bottle..

No thanks..  I'm fine, he said laying on the bed..

Ok you go sleep,  I'll clean this mess, I said..

Fine, he groaned turning other side covering with blanket..

I took all the albums and placed back in the almar, I turned to him and saw he was already in deep slumber..

He was very much tired I guess sleeping peacefully,. I turned off the lights after taking my salwar suit and went to take bath,.

As usual I finished my puja and went to kitchen, my mil is talking with someone over the phone, I indulged in preparing breakfast and made coffee for my husband,.

When I went to the room, he wasn't there on bed.. I heard water sounds from the bathroom and so placed coffee over the table covered with lid and went down as my mil called me..

Here in our tradition every month has some festivals, each and every festival has it's own reason behind, that's the month of july, in that month newly wedded couple should stay away from each other, ( distance can make some magic)!

So I packed my luggage as my in-laws told that my dad is going to come to pick me up.

As my dad came to pick me up, I went to my husband to say bye,

"Hmm! Very much excited to go to your home huh?" He said with duh tone..

I smiled saying, Yes! of course girls will be always happy to visit their paternal home..

Ok msg me after you reach home, he said like a order..

I nodded ok and left to my home..

At dhaksh home:

Dhaksh mom:

This girl habituated us badly, she used to prepare everything on time,. Before she came I used to handle everything single handed,.

Dhaksh dad: Oh you miss our daughter-in-law?
why don't you accept she is the best,.

Dhaksh mom: If she knows I like her "What if she won't obey me anymore?"

Dhaksh dad: No you're mistaken she'll never disobey anyone,.

Dhaksh mom: OK stop appreciating her and have your coffee,.

Meanwhile Shiva & Radhika came to them (ELDER SON & HIS WIFE)

Yes mom she habituated us also, After she came here everything changed, she is so active and our family completed with her,. Shiva said..

"Shiva lets go we're getting late", Radhika said giving him anger looks,.

Why you also started appreciating her in front of them? Radhika asked while shiva started his car..

What's wrong in that radhi? Shiva asked..

She was getting good name and all are giving much importance to her! Even I'm elder Dil in this house but no-one never appreciated me? Radhika said showing her distress..

"Are you jealous of her?" Shiva asked.

No-no, I'm a working women I think I'm far better than her in everything,. "I don't know how Dhaksh said YES for this girl,." Said radhi..

"Don't be ridiculous", never judge anyone without knowing them shiva angered at his wife..

Let's Stop here Shiva we're getting into fight because of her, radhi said..

I'm busy in some pending files, and should submit them soon,.

Hearing to my phone ring, I looked at it and saw my friend calling me.m

Hi dhaksh it's me vinod,.

Hey wassup, how are you? Dhaksh replied..

Vinod: "I'm good, congratulations I couldn't attend your marriage,."

Dhaksh: Yah it's fine. Whatelse can I do other than this?

Vinod: "How is my sister?"

Dhaksh: Who? "Which sister?"

Vinod: Your wife man who else,)?!

Dhaksh: Don't know maybe she is fine,.

Vinod: What maybe?

Dhaksh: Because she went to her parent's home this month some "ashadam".

Vinod:  Yah I got it,. So didn't you call her?

Dhaksh:  I'm busy here and Why don't she call me!?

Ok fine , I won't come between husband & wife, anyways I called you for inviting you and your wife for my son's 1st b'day party at the end of this month.. Don't forget.

Dhaksh: Ya I'll come sure, bye,.

After ending the call, I thought What if I call her now?

I took my phone and called her ,

Phone ringing..

Dhaksh: Hi! "How are you?"

Tapasvi: I'm good. "How are you?"

Daksh: I'm fine, What are you doing? (I can hear huge people laughing near her.)

Tapasvi:  Umm, ugh nothing, "I'll call you back again saying that she ended the call,."

Hey chotu, What are you doing? Shiva asked dhaksh..

Nothing bro I just called my wife she ended the call just like that.. Dhaksh said with little disappointment..

why don't you go and meet her! Shiva advised to his brother..

Did you also went to meet your wife? Dhaksh asked his brother eagerly..

Of course I did,. Shiva said..

What if I go and meet her now?
Luckily it's just 1hr distance between us, dhaksh said getting up from his seat..

Yes go ahead,. Shiva encouraged him..

Why am I this crazy? I just want to see her it's almost 3 weeks since she left but didn't called me once also,.

I parked my car outside and stood at my in-laws home.. Maybe wrong timing I guess why so many lady batch are here? Dhaksh thought..

Namastae, pls come in my father-in-law warmly greeted me..

I took his blessings and he took me inside,. Everyone staring at me and started Mumuring between them,.

In that some old lady came to me and said "you are looking handsome"
I smiled in answer, I was searching for my wife but no one is telling me about her?

Granny  noticed  my eager looks and asked me "Am I looking for my wife?"

I nodded and smiled at that old lady..

Your wife just after knowing you came she ran to her room, granny said smiling..

She follows traditions very much, we left everything behind but she still follows that,. "Want to meet her?" Granny asked..

I smiled to her saying, "Yes" please..

Granny let me go after everyone got busy in their work,.

"The door was opened and so I went inside searching for her..

"Tapasvi standing in the balcony and bending down as if she wants to see someone!"

I went near to her and said Hii..

She jumped in fear, and ran to the curtain hiding herself,. I didn't even see her face also!

When i moved towards her,.

"STOP" she said..

But why? Dhaksh asked..

We shouldn't see each other it's tradition,. She said..

Why did you ended my call?

Because I kept mehendi (not packed its pure leaves grinded into paste, it generally takes 6-7 hrs in drying) she showed her hands and feet,. My relatives kept my phone on speaker so I ended it before they make fun of you, she said..

I smiled looking at her possessiveness..

OK I want to talk to you, saying that I removed the curtain between us just to see her,. She turned other side 🙄🙄.

No, if we won't see each other our relation would become more stronger pls,. she pleaded me,.

Ok I'll leave now at least tell me when you're going to come? Dhaksh asked tapasvi..

In five days she replied..

OK I'll come to pick you up, He said..

She nodded her head,.

OK at least show me your hands with mehendi, dhaksh pleaded..

She kept her hands back showing to her husband without turning around..

Dhaksh brushed her hands to which she shivered a little and tried to take her hands back.. But dhaksh caught her arms and kept a gift which he brought for her..

As soon as he left she opened the gift and saw "Bangles", this was the first and best gift ever. She thought..

After five days,

When I went to get her back from her parents home,.

I was eagerly waiting to see her, it's almost 1 month. Even i tried a lot to see her once when I got here, but she denied it and pleaded.

How can someone be so particular in following rules? Seriously because of this ritual I was actually thinking about her and wanted to see her..

Is that true distance plays it's own magic? "I have gone crazy," just to see her.. My eyes were stucked towards her room not to miss even a sec in watching her wholeheartedly..

Seeing the curtain being lifted I thought she's is about to come but my eyes frowned in disbelief it's
My mother-in-law, I pretended to look at my watch just to avoid if anyone notices me they can make fun of it.

Again same situation filled with anticipation I again started looking over the door towards her toom but it's another old lady came out..

Don't know what she was doing inside? I'm tired of waiting..

No way I'm not going to see there and get fooled once again. I thought..

I started reading the newspaper which was on the table, I can barely hear the sounds of anklets which were getting more, I just ignored to not get fooled once again and my eyes glued to the newspaper in my hands.

I sensed someone standing and watching me but not seemed to respond..
But when I heard the bangles sound to which I lifted my head a little to see who came near to me?

My eyes got wider and for few seconds everything got freezed around me.

She cleared her throat and I got to my senses. . She my wife is standing in front of me with her long braided hair which is decorated with simple rose behind her ear and dressed up in salwar suit..

Thank God for this tradition I have never paid attention in watching her beauty..

Get started before
"Dur muhurtham"(bad timings ) arrives, My father-in-law, stated..

Finally we took their blessings and I opened the door of my car she sat inside and lots of sweets which were already packed are placed in back seats..

Finally !, we started back to our home. I noticed that she wore the bangles which I brought for her.. she was looking outside and sometimes glancing towards me without direct contact of her eyes..

I can't help but chuckled seeing her actions. .

"STOP HERE PLEASE " She shouted..

I was startled once and put the break. What happened are you ok do you need anything?

No,actually I want to give some sweets to the nearby orphanage here she sighed me turning to the building which was on the side of the road.

"You scared me!" I said glaring at her..

"I'm sorry", She said with frown😟..

Never shout like that as if some bomb fell on you. He said..

Bomb? Are you serious? Saying that she laughed again..

I was just starring at her smile which I missed for almost a month?

OK will you come with me? She asked..

I nodded as we parked the car on the side and took some sweet boxes inside..

As soon as we entered some kids started running towards us and hugged my wife.
Everyone were busy in their talks and one of them turned to me and asked who was He?

I kneeled down and said I'm your so called sister's husband I said showing my wife...

"Oh you're looking like hero!" That little boy said..

I smiled at him and said you are more goodlooking than me! he smiled and hide behind my wife..

"Hello madam," someone greeted and we turned to her.. she is the warden here my wife said to me and we greeted her, we opened the boxes and all of them took it and have eaten heartfully..

After spending sometime we headed back as we're getting late. ..

Today I saw her another angle to which I started liking her more than before. .

Tapasvi pov:

Everyone welcomed me warmly , and I took mom dad blessings,. And spent sometime together, enjoying our dinner with entire family,.

I went to change and he was as usual workaholic,.

Thank you for the gift I said sitting on the bed..

OK now you got time for thanking me in the last five days? My husband questioned me looking into the laptop screen..
"Do you like it?" , He asked..

Of course I loved it,. I said with smile..

OK we have to attend a b'day party tomorrow,. Get ready,. He said..

I preferred party wear with simple salwar suit with enlightening dupatta, green colour "I love green,."

After getting ready, I waited for him..

"You're late!", I'm waiting for you from past 1hr.. I said.

Oops sorry got late today in work..

Wow looking great, he said complimenting me..

Ok thanks now get ready soon,. I said showing him the clock..

Yes give me 10 min,. He said walking towards washroom..

At the party,

Did you brought the gift? I asked my husband..

Oh no, I forgot, never mind I'll buy later, he said causally..

As we walked into their home..

Actually gift was in the car, tapasvi said
and went to the car and brought a small plant.
I hope you won't mind if I plant here on behalf of this b'day boy? She said looking at Vinod..

Of course! Vinod said smiling..

Some worker helped in digging, and tapasvi put the plant in their garden and took the boy and made him pour some water to the plant,.

Sorry but, I thought these gifts will be of no use after sometime, but this plant will remain forever and gives us a lot of benefits,. Tapasvi said..

I promise for every b'day we'll plant together. Vinod said assuring..

Everyone praised tapasvi for her best b-day gift to the baby boy..

She went back to her husband and stood behind him,.

Not bad my dear wifey, Dhaksh said grinning hearing appreciation from everyone..

After dinner, tapasvi played with the b'day boy for sometime,.

Vinod we'll leave now.. Dhaksh said sighing to his wife to come..

No wait for some time, Vinod said..

No we have to go it's already late, dhaksh said..

OK I'll say bye to b'day boy and I'll come. Tapasvi said walking towards the baby..

"Dhaksh you're really a lucky man" Vinod said looking at tapasvi who's playing with the baby..

I guess I'm. Dhaksh said smilingly looking at his wife..
