"The Elder Wand," he said, and he drew a straight vertical line on the parchment. "The Resurrection Stone," he said, and he added a circle on top of the line. "The Cloak of Invisibility," he finished, enclosing both line and circle in a triangle, to make the symbol that so intrigued Hermione. "Together," he said, " the Deathly Hallows." — Xenophilius Lovegood

THIRD POV:

Walburga, Orion, Abraxas, and Dumbledore quietly crept upon their target.

Disillusioned, Abraxas and Walburga scoped out the scene in case someone or something decided to wander around the Gaunt shack at the same time as them.

They did not want people to know what they were doing so Orion and Dumbledore erected a temporary repelling ward around them and the Gaunt shack.

"Are you sure this the right place?", Orion asked, side glancing his wife who carved protective runes on the shack to contain it in case the shack "accidentally" explodes.

"Yes, now pay attention you three", she called out as they huddled inside the small shack.

"In here is one of the most revolting Dark magical item ever created, under no circumstances are you to touch it with your bare hands. And DO NOT wear it! Got it!", she warned them before giving Dumbledore a pointed look who wiped the bit of greed out of his eyes.

"Yes Ma'am!", the three men chorused.

"Good. Now Abraxas you're on guard duty make sure no one is around. We may have put a repelling ward but it's better to be safe than sorry. Be ready in twenty minutes to activate the 'get away' portkey. Do you understand?", Walburga explained to the blonde who nodded.

Walburga nodded back before turning to Orion.

"Orion you are in charge of taking down the protective wards around the horcrux, we have no idea how dangerous they can be so I want you to be extremely careful. Understand?" She asked her husband who agreed.

Turning to Dumbledore she once again explained his duties, "Dumbledore you are in charge of carefully obtaining the horcrux and destroying it. I'll be honest, I don't like you very much but I want you to be careful."

She glanced up at him making sure to look at his crooked nose in case he tried to poke around in her thoughts.

"Don't let the ring's temptation blind you. Listen to me. DO NOT PUT ON THE RING! Do you understand?", she asked him with a hard look, daring him to deny her.

"No, I understand Lady Black", Dumbledore replied lightly blushing because she hit bullseye with her observation.

"Good, let's hope you keep your word", she retorted before clapping her hands.

"I will work around to ensure everyone's safety. If you're injured tell me immediately. I cannot stress this enough. Please be careful.", she pleaded the three men who glanced at each other before assuring the woman they would.

And with that they separated to fulfill their tasks.

But Walburga still couldn't help but to worry.

Fifteen minutes in Walburga stiffened from where she was talking with Orion and turned to Dumbledore who was reaching out and was about to put the ring on.

"NO!", she screeched loudly startling Dumbledore who quickly jumped away from the ring.

Wrapping the ring in a soft black cloth, she rounded on Dumbledore who had a glazed look in his eyes.

"Give me the ring Black! You don't understand! It's the Resurrection Stone! It told me it can bring my little sister back! Please!", Dumbledore cried out pleading eyes still glazed but now openly crying.

"No! It's not worth it. Bringing you sister back to the living world will only hurt you and your sister." She retorted before her face softened.

She glanced at her husband who quietly watched, wand ready to fire if Dumbledore made one wrong move against his wife.

"Stupefy!"

Orion and Walburga whipped their head watching as Dumbledore crumbled onto the floor knocked out and turned to Abraxas who shrugged.

"Best if he wasn't given a chance to do something while you guys were too distracted", he said nonchalantly.

His eyes wandered around the shack before his eyes landed on the black cloth in Walburga's hand.

"Is that—?", he questioned.

"Yeah it's the horcrux, careful not to touch it with your bare hands." She fretted.

Abraxas slowly nodded. "Assuming that twenty minutes has passed and the ring is not yet destroyed. You guy's have run into a problem?" He stated with a hum.

"There's a ward that will kill anyone that dares to harm the horcrux, physically or with magic it will slowly kill the attacker", Orion explained.

Abraxas processed the information before perking up, "Oh! I got it!" He exclaimed clapping.

"Healing or even Love!" He simply said smiling proudly to himself.

"Abraxas I know you fell off your broom far too many time but—", Orion was cut off when Walburga gasped.

"Abraxas you are a genius!", she praised.

Orion thought for a minute, horcruxes lacked anything to do with love as well as any dark magic.

Love which also can come in the form of healing would most likely weaken the ward.

They weren't outright hurting or attacking the horcrux so the ward wouldn't attack them. The moment the ward broke or weakened significantly where he could tear down the ward himself, then Dumbledore could go on with the original plan.

"It seems you still have a few brain cells left—"

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!", sputtered a mildly offended Abraxas.

"—Someone wake up Dumbledore so we can finish this and go home", Orion continued not commenting on Abraxas earlier question.

Walburga rolled her eyes at her two men before turning to Dumbledore.

"Rennervate", she simply said waking up Dumbledore who rubbed his aching back.

Acting like he was not just stunned and tried to put on the ring and the fact no one else acknowledged the little fact, the three explained their plan to Dumbledore who readily agreed.

Abraxas, Walburga, and Orion circled around the horcrux on the floor while Dumbledore stood to the side ready to shoot the finishing spell.

"Ferula."

"Tergeo."

"Reparifors."

"Vulnera Sanentur."

Outwardly and physically the spell did nothing since they are spells meant for healing living objects.

But the slight glow of the ward around the ring noticeably dimmed with each healing spell.

"Episkey."

There! It was their moment the ward finally collapsed.

"Quick! Stand back!", shouted Dumbledore making sure they all stood a great distance away from the shack with the horcrux still inside.

"Fiendfyre!", Dumbledore shouted using his Elder wand.

The three other adults watched in quiet awe as Dumbledore willed the fire to only wrap around the Gaunt shack, they stepped a few more steps feeling the blazing heat even from far away.

Dumbledore who was much closer was profusely sweating.

They watched as a black mist seep out above the shack as it let out a horrifying screech signifying the successful destruction of the horcrux.

Dumbledore clenched his jaw as he reigned in the fire before they slowly disappeared.

Dropping down to his knees heavily breathing but still smiling since he was able to help destroy a part of Voldemort.

He felt two pairs of arms help him up along with a diagnosis spell, "His magic is simply strained and he's exhausted. He should be fine after a few days of sleeping", Walburga explained quickly.

"Let's go home, we did it boys. Great job Albus", Walburga compliment before activating the portkey.

Dumbledore smiled and cheerfully whispered, "She called me Albus!".

Abraxas and Orion shared a look over his head and quietly snorted before letting a small smile. The old senile old man deserved that much.

Three horcruxes down, two more to go and a dark lord to take down.

***

While his wife slept Orion carefully slipped out his bed and crept towards his office and quietly called Kreacher who popped in with a Children story book and a cup of tea and biscuits.

Tracing the front cover of the old book, Orion quietly read the title.

"The Tales of Beedle the Bard..."

His hand paused as he flipped to the last chapter, "The tale of the Three Brothers".

His eyes sharpened as he read through the chapter and quietly shut the book before folding his hands and stared at the book.

"Interesting..." he muttered before glancing at the photo of his wife.
