Chapter 6

The next day (Y/n) stayed after class with Aizawa. She sat at her desk while her teacher stood at his podium. He wanted to ask the girl what happened but couldn't find the right words.

"(L/n) why did you want to become a hero?" The man asked with a sigh.

"I didn't really. My parents told me to and I did what they said." (Y/n) played with her fingers as she spoke. She knew the lengths other students would go through for a spot in the hero course and felt horrible for taking their place. All she ever wanted was to live a normal life away from hero work, but she couldn't bring herself to defy her parents.

"Is that why you've been acting this way recently? Your classmates have noticed a change in your attitude. They're worried about you." He said while walking towards her.

"No." The girl answered.

"Then what is it?" He tried to push the answer out of her but instead of helping he made matters worse. The girl stood up and walked out of the classroom through the back doors. She looked to the side to see her so-called boyfriend about to open the doors on the opposite end.

Seeing the boy made her frustrated. She no longer felt the butterflies in her stomach. The happy feeling she felt whenever his face came into view didn't appear. Her face didn't heat up from nervousness but from anger.

That's when it clicked.

She didn't like Bakugou anymore.

She didn't want to be his girlfriend anymore.

She's finally growing! I love Bakugou but I know that boy would be so toxic in a relationship.
