Chapter 14

A whole week has passed since the couple broke up. No one had asked what happened and just assumed that Bakugou broke the girl's heart.

(Y/n), however, was able to forget about him with the help of Mina and the other girls in her class. Bakugou on the other hand wasn't able to recover.

He didn't regret his decision, at least, that's what he told himself. However, during class or training, he always found himself glancing in the direction of the girl. He wondered what went through her head and thought of her whenever he had the chance.

He wouldn't admit it but he even missed the feeling of her head on his shoulder.

He knew what this feeling was, but couldn't bring himself to accept it.

A few days later before class had begun he heard the girl's voice more than usual. She had always been quiet before class, but today was different. Bakugou needed to know what changed and looked back.

Bakugou finally snapped when he saw the girl speaking to Deku. She was sitting at her desk as Deku had a chair pulled up. They were sitting close as they flipped through his notebook. He couldn't believe that (Y/n) was smiling and laughing along to his lame-ass jokes.

The boy abruptly stood from his chair and walked towards the two. They both froze as the class grew quiet. Bakugou grabbed the back of Izuku's shirt and dragged him out of the classroom.

The entire class stared at the door in shock.

A few minutes later they both walked back in; Bakugou's face was bright red while Deku looked shocked. (Y/n) ran up to the boy and asked what happened but was dismissed.

He couldn't tell the girl that Bakugou had just confessed to liking said girl. Izuku was then saved by Mr.Aizawa walking in. Everyone immediately ran to their seats as class begun.

As the lunch bell rang the girl grabbed the back of Bakugou's shirt the exact way he had grabbed Deku's earlier and dragged him to the opposite side of the building. She had a feeling that she needed to know what he said as if it involved her.

"What did you say to Izuku earlier." She calmly asked after stopping and letting him go.

Bakugou didn't process the question as he threw curses at her. Curses he didn't mean.

"The fuck is wrong with you!? I told you to just leave me alone can't you understand Japanese?!" The girl ignored his words and asked her question again.

"What did you say to Izuku?"

"I didn't say shit." Bakugou looked away and placed his hands into his pockets. He wanted to tell her but his sharp tongue stopped him.

"Was it about me?" She asked, worried for his answer.

"Huh?!?" The boy's head turned to face her. "Don't act like my world revolves around you?! I have my own goals for the future and I don't need a loser like you as a distraction!" He didn't mean it. He wanted to tell her that he saw her in his future but his mouth wouldn't let him.

"Okay." She said quietly before walking away.

He watched as the girl walked away from him for the second time. He wanted to explain himself, to call out to her, to tell her the truth, but he couldn't bring himself to.

He was too full of himself to admit it, especially to her.

As (Y/n) walked away he made his decision.

He would become the number one hero and come back for her.
