It was already dark when Minji arrived to her new house. Their new house. From the outside, it looks very homely: a porch on the outside where married couples can have coffee, the lawn looks like it was newly mown. There is also a big tree with a swing on the right side. Minji thought how nice it would be to raise children on a house looking like that because her house never looked anything that nice. But she remembered that Atty. Choi made it clear that Jung Kook had no intentions of meeting her .

"Miss, don't you want to go inside?" the driver asked him.

"I'm sorry. I'm nervous." she let out a weak smile.

"Take all the time that you need then." the driver then grabbed his phone and scrolled through it.

Minji took a deep breath. "I think I need to go. Thank you."

"No biggie. Some of your things have been dropped off. We didn't have the key earlier so they might be on the front door." the driver informed

"I got it." She nodded. She opened the car and the cold October night caressed her pink cheeks.  She heard the car drive away while she walked towards the door. Her feet still hurt from wearing heels although she did not spend much time standing when she signed her marriage contract. halfway to the door, she loosened the strap of her shoes and remove her shoes completely. She clutched her shoes on her chest while she continued her stride. When she finally reached the door, she froze for a second thinking if she should press the doorbell or just let herself in. She saw two boxes on the entrance; one box had a shoe mark on it. She just let out a deep sigh and picked them up stacking it, on top of each other.

"Uncle, your son is acting childish." She muttered to herself. She reached for the doorknob and twist it forgetting that she had not inserted the key yet. To her surprise, the door opened. "And he even forgot to lock the door. What if there is a burglar?"

When she stepped inside and turned on the lights she dropped all what she was holding when she saw what greeted her.

The entire floor was a complete mess-as if it became a children's playground: the cushion pillow cases were turned inside out and were scattered on the floor. The white sofa was painted with words: "JK WAS HERE". The magazines under the coffee table were cut out and were scattered all over like confetti.

She dialed Atty. Choi's number but hang up thinking that he may be already asleep. She went to the kitchen to get a glass of water but her mouth gasped when before her eyes was a continuation of the living room's fiasco. The faucet was open and the running water almost reached her. She tiptoed to turn the faucet off but her body slide instead. Her back ached in an instant. She managed to get up and turn off the faucet. Her body is now half wet and tears started running down. She hugged her knees while she sits on the damp floor.

After a few minutes, she wiped her tears away and began to massage her lower back.

"Nothing Vick's can solve." she said to herself while she let out a small laugh when she remembered how her mom used to rub Vick's all over her whenever she feels sick. She stood up and tried to squeeze dry the hem of her dress. She grabbed the kitchen towel roll on the sink and spread it on the wet floor while her eyes tried to look for the mop. When she ran out of paper towels, she tiptoed to check the cupboards for any extras but couldn't find any, when she tiptoed away from the cupboard, she uttered a loud gasp when she slid because of the slippery floor. Her back hit the floor real bad but she remained glued from where she is laying as if she is a sponge trying to absorb all of the dampness of the floor.

She was under the bright light of the kitchen area. It hurts her eye but she stared anyway. At that point, it is the only thing keeping her warm. Tears fell from her eyes; she realized that keeping a promise is hard but she has to do it anyway for the memory of her mom and uncle.

She slowly stood up from her second fall. She rummaged through her luggage for dry clothes. She found an oversize plain black Tshirt which she used to wear to sleep. She also grabbed a white towel before she made her way to the bathroom. She needs to clean herself before she cleans all this mess.

Jung Kook was awaked by the sound of his phone alarm. He stretched a bit and stare into nothingness while thinking if he should go down. He has to admit, his first night went smoothly--he didn't hear any sound and slept like a baby all night long. It is as if he has the house all to himself.

Jung Kook stood up and walked to the door. He pressed his right ear against the wooden door to try to check for any movements outside--nothing. To his pleasure, he turned the knob and peeked for any signs of his wife--still nothing. He completely walk out of the room but stopped when the room beside the Master's caught his attention. He was not able to roam around the house yesterday and now he wonders if that is where his wife stays.

"The hell I care", he reminded himself.

He went down to make himself breakfast but to his surprise, the kitchen area is completely clean--no signs of his childhood act from last night. The floors sparkled and there was a faint smell of bleach. He can view the sofa from where he is standing and saw that the paint was faded. All of the things that he threw last night were also nowhere to be found.

"Good thing she knows how to clean." He opened the fridge to grab milk and saw a lunch box inside. There is a note on top: "Office lunch. Re-heat". He took it outside and place it on the countertop. He noticed that the marriage contract is still there as well as the rule that he made for her. He grabbed the paper and look at it again. And there he saw another message:

"I will comply." -AJ

"Good girl." Jung Kook smirked then throws the lunchbox on the bin.
