Jung Kook was clearing his desk before meeting Minji for lunch. He stepped out from his almost finished office when Minji called. He tried calling her back to tell her that he is on his way but her phone was just ringing. He collected the papers that he needs to work on and made his way to the parking lot. He was surprised, however when Hana called him when he entered his car.

"Hi, Jung Kook!" Hana's voice sounded worried.

"Hi...hmmm anything wrong?"He asked.

"Can you promise not to freak out?" She asked.

Jung Kook's eyes furrowed. He put her on speaker so he can start driving.

"Are you meeting Minji somewhere?" She asked again.

"How did you know?" Jung Kook asked while driving.

He heard Hana sighed. "Uhmmm...I'm kinda following her..."

Jung Kook chuckled. "Why? Is she with another man?"

"Uhmmm...yes. I saw her get on the car with Alejandro Collins..." She gulped at her own words. "And it seems that they are not going to wherever you are."

Hearing his name made him change his mood in an instant. "Where are they going?" He is now driving faster without direction.

"I don't know. I'm just following his car. I saw him approach Minji inside a cafe and she was about to walk out, but he stopped her."

He was gripping on the steering wheel tighter. "Where are you?"

"Jung Kook, I can't GPS my location now. Let me follow them first then I'll call you, okay? Please calm down." She then ended the call.

Jung Kook called Minji's number again and this time someone picked it up.

"Hi, Jung Kook. It's Alejandro Collins." Hearing his voice drove him mad crazy. "Minji's with me. She's sleeping."

"I SWEAR IF YOU HURT HER! I'LL KILL YOU WITH MY OWN HANDS!" He shouted.

"Why would I hurt her?" He smirked over the phone and Jung Kook is imagining his smug look which made him angrier.

"You had your chance with her...and I wasn't able to fully have her. C'mon, man why can't we share her? Didn't your father teach you not to be selfish?" Jung Kook was trying to calm himself because he felt that he is going to explode soon.

"I guess he wasn't able to teach you a lot of things because he left you." Jung Kook punched his window car but Alejandro's response was a hearty laugh.

"Don't worry. I promise not to wear her out." He then requested for a video call and when Jung Kook accepted it, he cried seeing Minji on the passenger seat while Alejandro caressed her thighs.

"It makes me hard right now thinking of the dirty things I'm gonna do to her." His hand went up to her blouse and he began to unbutton it.

"She has a nice body. No wonder you're crazy about her." He then ran his fingers into her cleavage.

"I SWEAR I'LL KILL YOU! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!" He was shouting and kicking at the same time. He looks like a mad dog panting in anger. But just like the first time, Alejandro just laughed at him.

"Bye, Jung Kook. I hope you still love Minji when I'm done with her..if I'm going to be done with her." And he ended the call.

He punched his the window again and was smashing his head into the steering wheel, angry at himself for being helpless. He was so happy lately that became complacent about Minji's safety.

"I will not forgive myself if anything happens to you, Minji." He told his self and he screamed inside his car. He called Atty. Choi for help but Linda informed him that he is still having difficulty speaking. He doesn't want to endager his uncle anymore so he didn't tell Linda of the situation. His palms have become sweaty waiting for Hana's call and after what seemed like forever, his heart raced when Hana's name appeared on the screen.

"I texted you the coordinates of my location. I am parked outside a mansion. I saw him carry Minji inside. I called the police already." He was able to breath properly hearing those. He opened her message and entered it into his phone so he can go to wherever Alejandro has taken Minji.

"Hana...you said you met a lot of friends, right?" Jung Kook asked.

"Yes...the police should be on their way now...we'll save her." Hana then smiled.

"Does any of your friend own a gun?" He asked and Hana's smile widened.

"Just get here. Don't think of anything stupid." She was trying to calm him down but her eyes wandered to the duffel bag beside her which carries guns.

"Just like what we planned." Hana reminded herself.

Jung Kook reached his destination after a long drive. The place is situated on a mountain side which some developer obviously destroyed to pave way for luxurious houses that the upper rich can only afford. The sea can be seen on the right, its waves peaceful unlike Jung Kook's heart. He immediately got out and saw Hana was waiting outside a car.

"I borrowed my friend's car." She told him when he stared at it.

"The police called me a few minutes back. They said that they are arriving soon." She added.

Jung Kook was about to walk over to the gate but Hana stopped him. "Jung Kook, no! I think he has his bodyguards inside! Please let's wait for the police!" She was holding his arm and pulling him away but Jung Kook kept on stepping forward.

"I will kill that motherfucker!" His hands were tightened in a fist and his face turned deep red with anger. He slammed the gates, trying to shake it and shouting Alejandro's name but no one went outside. He kicked the gate and went to his car and thought of knocking down the gate. Hana joined him in.

"Jung Kook, please..let's not not do something which we will---" but Hana was not able to complete her sentence when he drove his car towards the gate. Their bodies jolted at the impact and his head hit the steering wheel and a small cut appeared on his forehead. He heard the bumper creaked. Seeing that the gate is still impenetrable, he drove back and hit the brake all of a sudden. Hana hit her head on the car's roof but Jung Kook doesn't seem to care.

"Enough!" She shouted. She took a flask from her coat and gave it to Jung Kook.

"Drink that and calm yourself! The gate is almost a foot thick! You will destroy your car first before you can bring it down!" Jung Kook's teeth gritted but then angrily took the flask from Hana and gulped it at once. It tasted like scotch.

"We will wait for the police, alright?" Hana reminded him then hissed in pain while palming the lump on her forehead.

Jung Kook was still panting. He tried dialing Minji's phone but it can no longer be reached. His teeth are clashing, and stomping his feet, impatient as to when the police will arrive.

"What's the number of the police station? I'll--" his eyes started to get heavy. He tilted his head and held on the steering wheel because he felt that his head is gonna fall.

"Eagle was right. Your father didn't teach you much. Never accept drinks from strangers, Jung Kook." Hana smiled down at him.

He tried to reach for her but his arms have become wobbly and before he closed his eyes, he remembered Hana smirking at him.

****

The first thing that Jung Kook felt when he opened his eyes were the metal chains around his hands. He nudged his shoulders in an attempt to free himself but to no avail. He looked around and saw himself in a room with faint lights. The door opened and the lights have been turned on which made Jung Kook squint. He saw a figure dragging a chair while walking towards him. He shut his eyes tightly for a few seconds and when he finally opened them, the figure became clearer: a woman wearing a red spaghetti strap dress and a black stilleto shoes was sitting across him. Their stares met and the beautiful black-haired woman smiled at him.

"I know what you're thinking..." She started.

"You think Hazeera is a man." Her grin became wider. She went nearer to him and pulled his chin to examine his features. "You're more handsome than your father." Jung Kook shook his head to remove the woman's hand away from him.

"Where am I?" He shouted. Veins appearing in his neck.

"You're under my care, handsome. I just need you to open the safebox for me then we can all go home." The door opened revealing Hana who was carrying a box. She smiled at him then placed the box on the table.

"You're with them???!!! I trusted you!! This is how you repay my father?" He was struggling release.

"He still doesn't know?!" Hazeera looked at Hana laughing and Hana nodded as a reply. "Wow. You may be more handsome but you're dumber." She laughed again then called someone. "Please bring bottle of scotch and three glasses. Jung's boy is telling a joke. I'll tell you guys afterwards."

Jung Kook looks confused. His face is now redder. Hana stood beside him and cocked the gun then pointed it into his temple.

"Tell me the code." Hana's voice was cold.

Jung Kook felt the cold metal on his head which made him fear for his life. "I don't know what you're talking about." He murmured.

"I told you before that your father developed this safe. Now it needs a code." Jung Kook looked at the white box in front of him, which looks ordinary at a first glance. Hana pressed the gun harder, her lips curling already.

The door once again opened and a well-built muscular man brought a tray containing what Hazeera asked him earlier.

"This is Jung's boy?" He pointed at him.

"Yes." Hazeera laughed. "He still thinks Hana's his wife." Then they both chuckled. Jung Kook's eyes widened in disbelief. He looked at Hana darkly.

"Sorry you have to find out this way. Thank you for letting me stay in your apartment, though. I saved a lot." She smirked. Hazeera then poured scotch into the wide-brimmed glasses.

"Hana...you're getting intense. Jung Kook deserves an explanation." She turned to Jung Kook. "Hazeera is a new name. We changed names based on who inherit the family business. It's a good move because the cops can't get to us easily..." She started. "We were doing so well, I was even fucking General Kim, your father's boss who is one of us and the gateway why we can smuggle drugs to Korea. One day, he told me that there was a lieutenant,a.k.a your father, who was developing a safebox with FBI which can be used to seal classified military plans. The blueprint was impeccable..."She then pointed to the box. "Everything that will be placed in that box, cannot be retrieved and if someone tries to break it, it will signal an alarm to the nearest FBI agent. We thought that we can use the safebox in our own operations." She stopped with her story to pour herself and Hana some scotch. "We tricked your father into thinking that his safebox is being used in transporting the modernization plan aid of USA to Papua New Guinea, so General Kim moved him up in guarding the donation shipments which, in return made him earn a lot but he has no idea that the shipments which he enthustiastically guarded contained drugs." She paused for a moment to stare at the confused Jung Kook then smiled.

"You're welcome, by the way." Her smile turned into grin. "Yes, your inheritance is basically drug money." Tears formed around Jung Kook's eyes hearing Hazeera's words which made the woman laugh out loud.

"Everything's doing well until he got nosy...he wondered why he is receiving a much higher salary in comparison to the other lieutenants...he did his own research and poof! he discovered that the invention which he is a huge part of is being used by the bad guys so he changed the passcode when we used the safebox in sealing clients' information to be transported to our lab in Mexico. He tried to escape but we got him wounded so I guess your wife's mom found him dying on the street so she took pity on him and took care of him, but he couldn't return to Korea because our men was looking for him. We found him eventually after a couple of years, but we have to kill your prostitute mother-in-law because for sure she knows too much already. We could've killed your wife too but Jung was able to save her. So he planned in changing her identity so the two of you can meet and be safe together." Hazeera almost ran out of breath telling the story but looking at Jung kook's annoyed face was pleasurable for her.

"Why do you hate your father, Jung Kook?" she teased while crossing her legs. "He wanted to go home...he was saving money to secure your future..."

"FUCKK YOU!!! FUCK YOU!!!" He shouted at her, the veins on his neck visible and not minding the gun cocked on his head.

Hazeera was just laughing at his face, clapping. "And I also learned from Hana that you hate your real wife too. Goodness, Jung Kook...she is a good soul. Pretty, too. She's closer than you think, but I'm not gonna tell who..." She pulled his chin. "Now, be a good boy and open the safebox and I promise that you and your girl will not be harmed."

"I TOLD YOU ALREADY! I DON'T KNOW! I DON'T KNOW!" He cried outloud. His head was thrown backward and soon he feels that he is getting tired.

Hazeera held his head and ruffled his hair. "Awww...don't cry now...I am not that heartless. I'll give you the night to think about the code that your father encoded. But I am kind of impatient, so...you have to hurry up." She then pressed a remote and a projector slid down and when it lighted, his sobs became louder when it shows Minji on the bed.

"A little motivation for you to think hard." She smiled at him.

"Hana, remove his chains. He needs hands to open the safebox." Hazeera ordered.

"But he--"

"He's not going to escape because this room has cameras and if he tries to break-free, Eagle will blow Minji's head off." Hazeera stood and tapped Jung Kook's shoulder. "Alejandro Collins is one of us too. He wants Minji and seeing you dead will make him happy so get working if you want to see her again." She pressed the remote again and the projector went up.

He heard the creaking sound of chains tied around his wrists being loosened. He shook off his wrists and Hana placed a folder and a pen on the same table where the safebox is.

"The file contains all the codes that we tried. Get working." She commanded, not looking at him.

He took a deep breath before Hana can take a step further from him. "Hana..." he called her.

Hana turned around. "What?"

"Remember our conversation on what we will do if this mess is over?" He then gave her a dark, icy look. "Don't think about the things that you want to do if you will make it alive, because I promise you...you wouldn't."

Hazeera clapped her hands. "You are a potential assasin. I'll think about hiring you if you can't open the safebox." Then she and Hana exited the room.

Jung Kook burst into tears again when they left. His heart can't take all the emotions that he is experiencing right now. He is worried about Minji. He wanted to kill Hazeera, Hana and Alejandro Collins altogether and he has a deep regret about his father.

He looked at the safebox again. There is an alphanumeric keypad which suggests that the code is a combination of letters and numbers. He opened the folder and scanned the codes that they used and gave each one a retry. But all of the codes are failure.

JJK010997.
JJK090197.
JJK970901.

He tried different combinations of his birthday as well as his mother's but those didn't work as well. He is losing hope and it feels that this code is like finding a needle in a haystack. His mind is filled with thoughts about Minji. He knows he can't give up but what Hazeera is making him do is dead end. He remembered his love for her and though he wanted to keep going, it is now impossible. He remembered his father and how he wrongfully hated him all those years. In times where his heart couldn't take another pain, he misses both his parents. He silently prayed for wisdom and strength for tomorrow may be his last day.
