"A dead body of a 26-year old woman was found on a dumpsite early this morning. According to autopsy reports, the woman was raped and was stabbed to death. They are still working in identifying the woman..." Hana was watching the news while having coffee in their hotel room. Christmas is near and she wants to see his son. She had information that his son will be trembling in the cold again eating dollar meal and wearing second hand clothes so she wanted to change that.

Jung Kook was fixing his self in front of the mirror. He is wearing a black suit and shoes and his hair was brushed up. He sprayed his favorite perfume and turned to her: "Do I look broken hearted?"

Hana sighed. "You look desperate." They laughed. "Listen, I need to see this friend so I have to go back to Seoul."

"You have friends here? You are supposed to be dead, right?" Jung Kook smiled.

"I met a lot of friends before I moved in with you." She threw a pillow at him but Jung Kook was able to avoid it.

"You should work on how you throw things. That's a wife skill. Anyway, what are you watching?"

"Some chick got raped and stabbed." Hana answered. "Anyway, I need to go home, okay?"

"I'll find someone to drive you then...I don't want you like that." He was referring to the news.

"I can ride the bus. I'll stab them before they can get to me."

Jungkook pinched her and kissed her forehead. "Well...if you really have to go. See you on Christmas Eve."

"My gift better be wonderful and expensive." She was looking at him with puppy eyes and Jung Kook just laughed.

"It's a surprise." Then he left the room.

Minji is fixing Alejandro's tie. Her face was swollen but it is nothing compared to her body who is purplish and black, like an eggplant about to rot because of Alejandro's beatings.

"I'll inform your company that you cannot work for the day. Stay here in the room." Alejandro brought Minji to his room after beating her. Minji nodded and Alejandro kissed her head.

"I want you resigned from MC Enterprises. On Saturday, you will join me and Tyler to Japan. We will be spending Christmas and New Year there..." Minji just nodded again and dusted off  Alejandro's grey suit before putting it around him. He kissed her head and held her chin. "I'm no monster, bellisima. You will learn to love me when we are in Japan." He hugged her but she is not responding. "You should learn how to respond to my touches like you did to him...that's if... if you don't want him to end up in the gutters." And automatically Minji's arms were wrapped around him.

"Now, tell me...who owns you?"

She sighed deeply, staring into the corner of the room before she meets his eyes. "Jeon Jung Kook". He pulled her hair again and pushed her to the bed and Minji bit her lip, while receiving punches from him as she try not to make sounds because Tyler might hear.

Tyler was telling Minji story about his dream last night and she attentively listened. Alejandro ordered breakfast so they can eat in their room instead. When Tyler asked what happened to her face, she just informed that she really is turning into an ugly girl.

Tyler cried. "I'm just teasing you...yesterday." He said in between sobs. "I'm sorryy..."Tyler went out of his seat to hug her and Minji hugged him back.

"You still want to play with me even if I turn ugly?" She smilingly asked. The boy just nodded. "Then...I will pray tonight that I will not turn ugly." Tyler smiled and went back to his seat.

Alejandro was drinking coffee beside Minji. Fresh wounds appeared from her neck. He held her hand and Minji rested on his shoulder. She is a fast learner in returning his touches. "Tyler's here." She whispered.

He smiled and wrap his arms around her. "I will not finish the business summit today. We'll have lunch together then we'll stay in our room and you're gonna make me happy..." Minji just nodded.

"I don't want you out of the room." He ordered. She just nodded. "...Tyler will be with Maria the whole day, Tyler wants to ice skate on the park." And again, she just nodded.

"Order anything you want...If you want to buy anything, find Adi from reception. She'll buy for you." And again, she just nodded.

"Prepare for later." He whispered in her ears. "I want to  love you even if you are bruised." Then he bit her earlobe.

"Just keep your promise and you can bruise me more." Minji sipped her coffee.

Jung Kook received word from Mr. Chen that Minji submitted her resignation and she will be joining Alejandro to Japan in two days. He really can't do anything, he thought to himself because it is Minji's choice and he rejected her last night.

"She deserved that peace." He muttered. But thoughts of her consume him; the first time that he saw her and her sad eyes, the way their fingers touched inside the elevator, the day he carried her to the hospital and felt her close the first time and their first kiss on the kitchen counter. All those are still fresh in his mind and those are the memories he will look back to when Minji leaves. He is excited to see her that day now that he has limited time with her but she was nowhere to be found. The business summit started but there was no sign of her. He tried calling her but her phone is off.

Alejandro gave a speech about young people starting in their business and gave  a story about his own hardships and struggles. Of course, he received a standing ovation. He was an eloquent speaker and by the end of the summit, Jung Kook was sure that Alejandro will be richer. He approached Alejandro after he went down the stage, "Uhm..great speech sir.." He then bowed to him.

Alejandro tapped his shoulder and smiled, "just doing where I'm good at...by the way, Minji...sorry she has to be out first day of summit, she needs to prepare some documents before we go to Japan, but I promise that she'll drop by your room later to help you."

"Yeah..my boss just told me about her resignation...and Japan." Jung Kook tried not to sound too bitter.

"Yes, she was excited and said yes instantly when I offered it to her last night." Jung Kook felt guilty that he may be the reason why Minji is going away.

"Anyway, man. I have to meet a friend. Can we meet tomorrow at breakfast? Minji insisted that we spend the day after lunch." Alejandro smirked and walked away leaving Jung Kook confused.

Alejandro was beyond happy during lunch. Minji ordered food for them and she called Maria to ask if she and Tyler had eaten already. Alejandro was holding her fingers while they were eating and Minji just let him. Also, he learned from Adi that Minji ordered some winter coats and boots as well as a book about how to speak Nihongo.

"Bellisima, we're not going to be in Japan for long. Just 2-3 months maybe then I'll be back in Korea while you and Tyler be in Singapore." They are now in bed, cuddling. Alejandro is now satisfied that Minji is now responsive to his actions.

"Two to three months is still long..."Minji answered. She removed Alejandro's shirt and made him so she can massage his back.

"Baby...that feels nice" Alejandro moans while Minji pressed the back of her thumb against his shoulder nodes. He kissed her and Minji opened her mouth to let him in. He was panting as their tongues swirl.

"Baby...I'm reserving you for Japan, okay?" He sucked her shoulder blades and until it left a mark. "I'm not gonna fuck you in some hotel. I wanna take you to our vacation home...we'll do nothing but have each other until memories of him inside your pretty head are washed away." A tear fell from Minji's eye hearing this.

"You need to see Jung Kook later before he gets nosy." His kisses went down in between her chest to her stomach and finally in between her legs. Minji tried to close her legs in but Alejandro was swift enough to separate them.

"Let me remind you of our deal..." He removed her thongs using his teeth and kissed her clit dry. "He will never dive into you once he knows that someone else swam inside your wetness...and believe me I will make sure that he knows I was here." Minji grabbed the pillow and covered her face to muffle her groans.

Jung Kook had been thinking of Minji all day long. He tried to focus in the Summit but Minji's face will flash in her mind. He hadn't seen her all day and misses her. He texted Hana if she made it home okay but he had not received a reply yet.

Someone knocked on the door and when he looked thru the peephole, his heart almost jumped when he saw Minji. He took deep breaths first before he opened the door.

She was wearing a coat and a heavy make-up which she normally doesn't do which got him into thinking if she went out. He wanted to pull her in for an embrace but he controlled himself for doing so.

"Good evening, sir" She bowed at him. "I'm sorry I was not able to attend day one of the Summit...I was needed elsewhere."

"Yeah...I heard." Their eyes met but Minji quickly looked away and Jung Kook opened the door wider for Minji. She followed him to the table and Jung Kook pulled another chair for her to sit.

"Uhmm..where is Hana?" She asked while scanning the pictures from the event earlier.

"She had to go back to Seoul. She needs to help a friend." He answered but still looking at her. Minji just nodded to his reply.

"You can watch the video recording first. I made a draft of the article already..." Jung Kook suggested and once again, Minji just nodded. Jung Kook clicked the play button while Minji silently watched. Jung Kook can sense that there is something off about her.

After Minji watched the video, she too, did draft of an article and the two of them compared notes. Jung Kook corrected her lead paragraph and made her sentences more appealing and Jung Kook thought that her supporting paragraphs are more engaging in comparison to what he has done. Though it is completely professional, Minji enjoys their conversation and learned a lot from him.

"soo...Japan, huh?" Jung Kook finally asked while they are on break.

"Yeah. I'm excited." But Minji's voice doesn't sound excited.

"Guess you'll be a Mrs. Collins when you come back, huh?" Jung Kook's question backfired as it made his heart heavy. He wants her to stay.

"Maybe..." Minji looked up then smiled at him. "Maybe not...maybe I'll be the same or different. Maybe I'll come back...happier." Jung Kook smiled back and held her hand.

"What will be your fondest memory of me?" Minji asked while playing thumb wrestling with Jung Kook again.

"Our first night." Jung Kook confidently answered. "Don't misunderstand. I love that night because it is our first time to be together alone." He pressed Minji's thumb when his caught hers but to his surprise, she let out a loud groan which was followed by a chuckle. "...the sex, I have to admit, was mind-blowing" Minji blushed and they both laughed. "What about you?"

"Uhmmm..I wil remember you as my handsome boss who is strict, serious and yet caring. I will look back to the time when you first carried me in your arms on our way to the hospital." Jung Kook leaned to her and carried her to his lap. She rested on his chest and felt his warmth. They stayed like that for a few minutes before Jung Kook lifted her face.

"One last kiss?" He asked.

"One last kiss." She agreed.

Their lips met and they kissed each other like tomorrow is not about to come. Tears fell from their eyes while each remember their love. Minji wiped the tears from Jung Kook's face.

"Ask me again the question when we were backstage." Minji requested while Jung Kook's hands are now up her thigh. He was gripping her which hurt Minji but she is trying to keep her groans.

Jung Kook smiled, cupped her cheeks and smacked her lips while tears stream down her face. "Tell me you're still mine."

"Forever Jung Kook. Forever." Their foreheads met and they cry again. Jung Kook wiped her face using his thumb while staring at her but his face darkened seeing small bruises on the side of her mouth when her tears melted her make-up cover. He gripped her thighs tightly and Jung Kook's teeth gritted. He tried removing her coat but Minji is removing his hand.

"I--I have to go." She stood up but Jung Kook followed her and trapped her waist to remove her coat. Minji tried to fight it but he was too strong. She was stripped and Jung Kook gasped when he saw her bruised arms; some fresh, some healing but all of it, he is sure was done by the same person.

He threw the coat into the floor so hard it made a sound making Minji almost jump out. She was about to bend to get it but Jung Kook gripped her hand and examined her wrist; marks that are unnoticeable from afar are all over it.

"You're letting him hurt you?" Minji did not answer. She is removing Jung Kook's fingers but she can't.

"No...please let go." She pleaded.

"I was never...shit!" He stormed off to the door but Minji pulled him. She knows that he will go after Alejandro.

"I never laid a finger you...how could he?!" He held her face and the crying Minji should have softened him but his rage is reaching its peak. He punched the wall twice before Minji held his wrist to stop him from hurting himself. She hugged him but it's not calming him down.

"You will not go to Japan." He ordered.

"I have to. We have a deal." She answered. He pushed her to the wall and punched the wall again. "I said no!" He was taking his anger to the wall, his hands almost bruised. Minji was trying to control him and used herself to block him from exiting his hotel room. He was so angry he pushed her aside and her back hit the bathroom door. Jung Kook quickly carried her and place her to the bed.

"I'm fine.." Minji stated but her hands are massaging her lower back.

"I'm sorry, babe..."Jung Kook removed her top, unaffected by the laced bra that she is wearing and flipped her so she can see her back. His heart was torn when he saw more bruises, her back was like a canvass of bad art. She carried her and place her in between her legs.

"I need answers." He is trying to calm himself.

"I can't tell you..." She responded. She rested her head on his shoulder. "I'm really tired and hurt now...please, no more."

"Babe...I never...I've always been careful with you." Jung Kook kissed her forehead. He cannot his feelings right now as it is a mix of irony; love and hate. He loves that she is back in his arms but hates how he looks right now and disgusted at himself for not being there when she was hurt.

"I'll be fine, please...don't confront him. Ever." She kissed his neck. "We only have a day left...please, I don't want us fighting."

"You will not be fine!" He cried while pulling her close. "W--what is he..fuck!" Thoughts of Minji being beaten up flooded his mind. He was about to get up but Minji kissed him and slowly unbutton his pyjamas. Her lips are trailing down but Jung Kook isn't aroused. He pulled her back up.

"He's threatening you, right? He knows about us and now he's using you against me." Minji did not respond. She did not have to. Her face says it all.

"I'm gonna kill that motherfuckin' asshole." Minji chuckled which irritated Jung Kook. "Why are you laughing?"

"Because...you're trying to be a hero for me...and I feel I don't deserve it." He kissed her forehead.

"Had I known you will end up like this, I could have used all my money to make sure that he did not win that dinner." He said while Minji caress his shoulders.

"Nah...I should have stayed with you backstage...Could have forgiven you there." Jung Kook is now calming down with every stroke of Minji's hand on his shoulder.  "I was thinking of you all the time I was with him..." She admitted. 

"Could have flattered me had I not seen you battered." They lay on bed and Minji is now at ease that Jung Kook's rage has lessened.

"Stay here." He ordered.

"He'll look for me." She responded.

"You're aware that I'm not letting this go? He can't just walk away and have you just like that." Minji was back on kissing his neck while her hands going south.

"I'm not letting you go without a fight." They looked at each other and shared a kiss once again. Jung Kook stopped her hand from entering his pyjamas.

"Babe, I'd love to..believe me, but tonight, I just want to be with you."

So Minji stayed a bit longer and they talked about things that they never had the chance to while they were apart. From time to time, they will kiss and Minji will try her best to submit to him but Jung Kook will decline reminding her that he just wants to be with him. One of the best things about Jung Kook, she thought to herself is him not being selfish, putting herself first before him. And those are the things that Minji will remember most about him while she is in Japan or Singapore or anywhere else Alejandro will take him. She will remember him selfless, loving, kind and all his.

"What happens when tomorrow ends?" She wanted to ask him about that but would rather spend the remaining hours with him to show her love. She left his room when he had fallen asleep unafraid that she will get another beating. "It's worth it." She told herself.

But Jung Kook isn't asleep yet. After Minji left, he opened his laptop and bought tickets to Japan determined to fight for his love.
