I could already feel my heart rate increasing as she sat beside me.

I intertwined my fingers together and shut my eyes tightly, what was this feeling?

I then placed my hand on my chest, I could feel my heart pounding. This was a feeling I've never had before.

Make it stop,
Please make it stop.

I breathed heavily and I could feel my face burning up. I quickly turned my head to the window and looked at the view.

Yeah, that makes me a bit better.

But I was tempted..

Tempted so bad to look just one last time..

I turned my head slowly, without making her notice that I glanced at her.

As she opened her bag, her silky hair moved with her. The side profile.. the features.. just looking at it so close made me feel like I was the luckiest guy in the world to see it.

"Now, Turn to page 34" The teacher called out.

I obeyed her and open my book which was in front of me.

"Damn it..." the girl next to me said to herself.

As I was reading a paragraph, I feel something on my right shoulder.

I shot my head up and faced the direction where it was coming from.

"I don't have all my books.. could I share with you? Just for one day! I promise I'll buy one today!" She promised.

I slowly nodded with my eyes wide open as if I didn't have any eyelids.

And that was the first thing she ever said me.
