"Dinners ready!" we heard from the kitchen. Robin turned off the music and we left the room.

"Robin you said you got the food I asked for." His dad said.

"I said I got some of it papa."

"Was there trouble again?" By the tone in his voice i could tell this wasn't the first time something like this had happened with Robin. He seemed so willing to fight but didn't want to take the first swing.

"Not much. But we had to leave." Robin said, pulling out a chair for me. I took a seat and looked at all the food sitting on the table. I hadn't eaten a single full meal since we moved here. Considering the fact that they didn't get everything they wanted at the store, it looked amazing. Robin took a seat next to me and we all held hands.

"Thank you Lord for this meal on the table and a roof over our heads tonight. I thank you for the health of the children sharing this meal with me and the chance to meet this lovely young lady." Robins dad said.

"Thank you lord for the opportunity to be sitting here today with the people I love. Amen." Robin said. We all raised our heads and started to grab some food.

"I hope you like steak Alina." Robins dad said to me.

"It sounds great Mr.Arellano." Being with Robin and his dad made me feel so safe.

"So, you two hang out often?" He asked.

"Papa" Robin obviously didn't want to be embarrassed by his dad. I thought it was cute.

"We hang out when we can. Robin watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with me actually. It was super fun." I said.

"I heard. Was it scary?"

"It definitely scared me. I don't like horror but Robin convinced me it was a good movie. He also made me this," I held up my bracelet and Robins face turned red. Robins dad reached out his arm to take a loot at it. He held my wrist gently and smiled down at the bracelet.

"Is that from your bandanna mi hijo?" He asked.

"Yeah. It was just a little something for safe keeping." Robin said, avoiding eye contact.

"I think it's adorable." His dad said. The whole night was full of getting to know one another and his dad trying to hint that we were dating. It was really fun actually. I enjoyed being around Robin and his dad than I do my own family. Soon enough, it got late and it was time for me to go home. Robin had offered to walk me home, as usual. I stayed close to him as we walked down the long dark road.

"You know I could just walk home by myself."

"Wow you don't like my company?" He said sarcastically.

"No, you know I love your company. But it's dangerous for you to walk back by yourself." I said.

"Just as dangerous as you walking home by yourself. Plus let's face it, you'd be scared." He joked and I pushed his shoulder.

"Would not!" I protested.

"Alright alright. But I'd feel better knowing you got home okay." He said, walking up to my door.

"Well I appreciate it." I said, smiling at him. I opened the door and we both walked inside. It looked different inside. Beer bottles were everywhere. Empty ones on the counter and the floor, my mom had obviously been home at some point.

"Mama? Estás en casa?" I called out. Nobody answered. I sighed in disappointment and sat down at the kitchen table, covering my face with my hands. Robin took a seat next to me and moved my hands from my face so he could look at me.

"I know it's been rough taking care of your mom. You know you're always welcome to stay with me." He said.

"Are you sure? I don't wanna intrude." I asked quietly. He squeezed my hand and stood up.

"Come on. Let's go get some of your things then I can take you back to my place. You can stay the night." He said. I nodded in agreement and he pulled me up. We both walked into my room and I looked around for what to grab. I took a t-shirt and shorts to sleep in and some of my essentials. I put all my stuff in a small backpack and then we left again. By time we got back to robins house, his dad was already sleeping. Robin turned off all the lights and took me to his room. I set my stuff down in the floor as Robin started getting ready for bed.

"Make yourself comfortable." He said. I smiled and sat down on his bed like I had before. His back was turned to me as he changed into more comfortable clothes. I layed back and waited for Robin. He took his shirt off and then walked over to the bed. He crawled over me which made me laugh.

"I thought you liked the left side." He said.

"What made you think that?" I asked.

"You usually like sleeping on the side against the wall." He crossed his arms and I sat up.

"Well fine, do you wanna switch?" I crossed my arms to mimic him with a smile on my face. He gave me a devilish smile and launched towards me. I laughed as he layed down, pulled me on top of him, then setting me down in the other side of him, switching our places. Even though it wasn't even that funny, I couldn't stop laughing. Im sure it was just because Robin always makes me smile no matter what. We both rolled onto our sides to face each other.

"Better?" He asked, reaching out and moving my hair so he could see me better. I found the courage to move closer to him and snuggle against his chest.

"Better."

He chuckled quietly, pulled the covers over us and then rubbed my arm to help me fall asleep quicker. He didn't seem phased that I had gotten so close to him. He actually seemed to enjoy physical touch, which was something I've always struggled with. It surprised me that I've been so okay with his touch.

But then again, it's 𝘩𝘪𝘴 touch.

Thank you guys for all the love! I promise I'm trying my best to write as much as I can. I have a couple drafts saved since I know I won't be writing for a couple days. My friend passed away due to a car accident so it's been rough. But I swear I'll keep writing, it actually helps a lot. Hope you guys enjoy!
