Dominic pulled his sports car into the parking garage of the apartment building. We both clambered out of the car before dawdling over to the elevator, Dominic held my hand in support.

After scanning his print the elevator opened up for us and we stepped in.

I leaned my shoulder against Dominic's arm and closed my eyes.

"Tired, love?" He asked me quietly.

I have a nod of my head. "Can we have lunch before a nap?" I ask, keeping my eyes closed.

Dominic chuckles softly. "Of course we can." He says softly. "I'm pretty sure your brother may have set something up for you."

This had me open my eyes. I turned my head to look up at Dominic. "Like what?"

"Fuck if I know." He shrugs. "He just said he wanted to do something for your homecoming."

The elevator dings open and I look out at the apartment entrance with hesitation.

Dominic gave my hand a squeeze. "If it's too bad I can always whisk you up to bed straight away." He tells me in a reassuring tone.

In reality I knew Max would never do something that would put me out of my comfort zone, but I hated surprises so the suspense of not knowing what he'd set up for my homecoming was sending those rational thoughts running.

I nod simply in response to Dominic before I let him guide me out of the elevator and into the apartment. I have to force myself to stop walking when I feel a pain in my chest. "Dominic." I whisper.

"Fuck." Dominic comes to stand directly in front of me and cups my face with both his hands. "What is it, Ell?" I can hear the worry and panic in his voice.

I raise one of my hands to my chest and utter the only word I can get out. "Pain."

"Fuck, ok princess." He looks around frantically. "Maxwell!" He booms.

Footsteps pad from the kitchen coming towards us. "Aye! Welcome home!" Max says cheerily.

"Maxwell, go grab a glass of water." Dominic commands, not drawing his attention away from me for even a second. His thumb is stroking my cheek while is other hand is delving into his pocket and produces the container of strong pain medicine the doctor had given me.

Max returns within thirty seconds and stands at my side with a glass of water in his hand and a worried look on his face.

Dominic takes the glass from him and presses a kiss to my forehead before handing the glass off to me. "Take it." He urges as he takes two codeine from the orange pill bottle and holds them out to me.

I take a mouthful of water before tipping my head back and putting the pills into my mouth. I close my eyes and swallow, taking deep breaths before opening my eyes and downing the rest of the water. "Thank you." I say to both Max and Dominic.

Dominic is silent as he studies my face.

Max steps forward and takes the glass from my hand before wrapping his arm around my shoulders. "Come now, I've got something for you." He steers me around Dominic and guides me to the kitchen.

On the breakfast bar is a large set up of food, a large stack of pancakes, several bowls of various fresh fruits, a plate of crispy bacon, a bowl of creamy scrambled eggs, and several sweet treat items for pancake toppings.

I turn to glance over at Max. "What is this?" I already feel giddy and I haven't touched the sugar yet.

Max grins like a Cheshire cat, stepping towards the food as he looks behind me to where Dominic comes up behind me and puts a hand on the small of my back. "Your favourite breakfast from when we were kids, plus some fruit to please Mr. grumpy pants." He nods his head towards Dominic.

"Princess." Dominic whispers against my ear.

I hum in reply. "Hmm?"

One of his hands grasps my hip. "Why don't you go get settled on the sofa and I'll grab you a plate." He offers.

I turned my head to look him in the eyes. "Thank you." I say quietly.

His eyes drop to my lips has he nods. "I... I'll be out in a minute." He says dismissively.

I nod slowly, glancing between the two before leaving the kitchen to head over to the sofa in the living room. I take the spot I'd had the first time Dominic and I had a movie night. I clicked on the TV and switched to the films channel which had the first Thor that had just begun.

It takes a few minutes before the boys come out of the kitchen with three plates made up of food. They take a seat either side of me, Dominic hands me one of the plates that has a bit of everything.

I smiled my thanks to him before turning to look at Max. "Do you know what's happened to my phone?"

"It's upstairs. Was near dead when I brought your bags in this morning so I popped it on charge." He tells me. "Why's that?"

I shrug. "Just need to remember to text Liam later on."

We fall into a comfortable silence as we eat the delicious food Max had prepared and watch the Thor film. I end up dozing off at some stage, my head rested on Dominic's shoulder and before I know it the end scene is rolling and Max is nowhere to be seen along with our dishes.

I turn my head up to find Dominic smiling down at me softly. "Hi." I say sheepishly.

"Lets get you up to be hey?"

I nod. "Ok." I go to stand up from the sofa when a hand grabs mine and tugs me back down so I land on Dominic's lap. "What're you doing?" I ask, flushing.

Dominic smirks his gaze travelling from mine, down our bodies until it gets to where our crotches are connected and suddenly I can feel him growing beneath me. He shakes his head as if trying to shake away any dirty thoughts he was having. Without answering me he grabs my thighs and stands up, holding me tightly against him.

"What're you doing?" I ask again.

"Taking you to bed." He says simply.

His words send a deep need to my core, wanting and need. Though I know he doesn't mean it in the way I wish he were, but half of me is guessing he'd done that on purpose. "I can walk."

Dominic chuckles. "I know you can walk, but stairs might put a little too much strain on you right now."

I relent and wrap my arms around his neck, closing my eyes and resting the side of my head on my arm on his shoulder.
