Remember when I said I couldn't be angry for a long time? Well, forget about it, because this time, they, whoever started the rumors, and those who believed it, really crossed the line. I was so angry until I couldn't stop myself from thinking about it all the time.

I wondered who spread the rumors, and why did he or she do it. What on earth have I done to him/her and made them hated me so much until they started telling things about me that was totally not true?

I've been thinking and thinking, even taking the year book out to look at everyone's faces and names, thinking about how did I know them and when was the last time we spoke, or did I ever say or do something that offended them.

However, I got nothing. So far, everyone I knew from school was very nice to me, and there's no reason for me to not being nice to them, let alone offended them.

So, who the hell did it? Who spread the rumors?

I have asked myself for over a thousand times, and still got no answers.

When I wanted to keep my mind off things, I would rewatch my favorite show once again, and that's Teen Wolf. This show has this kind of magic that could get you addicted to it over and over again, and I couldn't stop watching it.

I watched it until 3 in the morning and after just a few hours of sleeping, a text woke me up from my sleep.

I couldn't tell if he was joking or being serious, I was too tired to think of anything, for a moment I even thought that I was having hallucinations reading the latest text he sent me.

Mr. Kane brought Cohen and Amelia to their grandmother's house for the weekend, so I had my day off, two days, to be accurate.

While Cohen was away, he never forgotten to check in on me. Every few hours he would text and asked if I was okay, I knew he meant to ask if I was still angry or not, and everytime, I would tell him I was fine. I wasn't sure if I was telling him the truth though, I felt okay, but sometimes, I was still really angry.

I put the phone down and fell back to sleep, without replying him.

A few minutes later, my phone rang again.

Before I could process everything, the doorbell rang. It must be Cohen.

My eyes could hardly open and my hair was a big mess, I was just in my loose t-shirt and a pair of sleep shorts as my pajamas. I quickly put my bra on and went downstairs to open the door for Cohen.

The first thing I saw was the big grin on his handsome face, it woke me up a bit more, and I was 41% awake right now. "What are you doing here?" I asked in a sleepy tone with a yawn.

He let himself in as if my house was his own house. "To check in on you..."

I shut the door after he walked in and looked at him shockingly, "At this time? It's just..." I turned around to look at the clock, it took some effort out of me to read the time since my eyes were only half opened, it was Cohen who could tell that I had trouble and told me what time it was. Then I continued, "7:45 in the morning... And I thought you were at your granny's?"

"Yeah," he sat down on my sofa, before he continued, "I rush back from granny's after I remembered Michelle is working today."

That's so sweet of him, and I could hear my heart pounding inside my chest. Ever since what happened that night at Hunter's party, he had been very concerned about me. Like yesterday, when he went to his granny's house, he would still call me or text me every other hour to check in on me, like he was so worried that I would do something stupid.

"You could just text me, like what you did yesterday..."

"No, I am not leaving you alone."

"Listen, Cohen, I am really okay." I understood that he was worried about me, but he was kinda overreacting.

"Are you?" He cocked his eyebrows at me, before continuing. "You've been angry for, like, two days now, and I totally understand why, but, I've known you for so long and seldom seen you get angry, normally it just took a few hours for you to release your anger, but this time it's been past 35 hours, and for what I am looking at, I can see that you are still angry."

He paused and looked at me, and for the very reason that I was still not yet fully awake, I did nothing but looked right back at him, processing what he said.

He then continued where he left off, "I have never seen you this angry before, so maybe I am kinda overwhelmed. I don't know what will you do when you're this angry, so I need to keep an eye on you, not leaving you alone."

"Do you think that I would go mad and what, take a knife and storm off to Hunter's house and then kill him?" For the record, that crossed my mind, but the victim wasn't Hunter, it's the one who's behind all of this.

"Yes, something like that..." Did he seriously just said 'yes'?

As a matter of fact, maybe I will.

"Cohen, I am angry, but I am not mad..." I stated. That idea maybe crossed my mind, but I had no intention on doing such things, because, like I said, I wasn't mad, and I did not want to go to prison for murder, or anything else, for that matter.

"What's the difference?"

"Dogs get mad, people, people get angry."

He was quiet for a few minutes, probably thinking about what I meant, before he broke the silence. "Whatever. Even if you're okay, I am staying anyway."

"Why?" I asked.

"I am too tired to move," he said, "do you know I practically jumped out of bed at 6am then straight away rushed back here from my granny's? I need sleep right now." He then yawned.

Hearing him said that I didn't know whether I should cry or laugh, or did both at the same time.

"You are welcome to stay in the guest room." I said walking upstairs and he got out from the sofa, following me. "And thank you, for everything you've done."

He found his way to the guest room while I headed back to my own bedroom, the two rooms were on the opposite side, mine on the right, and the guest room on the left, so if I turned around, I'd be face to face with Cohen.

Cohen said something before he went inside and closed the door. He said, "You don't have to thank me, you know? I am more than willing to do anything for you."

I smiled from the deepest of my heart.

-

It took every bit of my courage to show up at school today, plus a little pushing by Cohen. He was the one who convinced me to come to school today, even though I really didn't want to face everyone who thought I was a hooker.

The moment when I stepped out of my car, I could sense people's eyes on me and I could hear them talking about me. I tried my best to ignore them, because what they said about me wasn't true and I had done nothing wrong, I shouldn't be ashamed or afraid of their gazes.

But still, I wasn't comfortable to know that I was the girl in everyone's gossips, and to be honest, I was really afraid too. I couldn't look at anyone because I was too nervous, so my eyes were glued to the floor.

Where was Shelley when I needed her the most? I hadn't seen her since I lost her at the party, she had been disappearing all weekend and I couldn't even tell her about what happened at the party.

I tried to call her and text her, but she never picked up her phone nor she ever replied to any of my messages, now I wondered what she's been up to.

Rion approached me in the hallway while I was trying to focus on the floor. The first question he asked was the question Cohen had asked me for more than a thousand times. "Are you okay?"

"So you've heard?" I wasn't very surprised that he knew about the rumors, since I assumed the whole school knew about it now.

"I did. But I don't believe it." Rion said, "I believe you would never do something like that."

I smiled genuinely at him, I was happy to know that I had someone on my side. "Thanks."

He smiled back at me and said nothing. Then we heard noises coming down the main hallway, and some of the students at the hallway were running to the direction of the main hallway.

"Tina, what's going on?" Rion grabbed a girl and asked her.

"They are fighting." The girl named Tina said.

Somebody were fighting? Why did I have a bad feeling on this one? I asked Tina who were fighting but I got my response from another girl. "Cohen and Hunter!"

What? Cohen and Hunter were fighting? Why would they fight?

Rion and I looked at each other before speeding up our pace to the main hallway to see what was going around there as the others were doing the same.

When we turned right and entered the main hallway, all we could saw was a crowd full of people. Some of them were shouting 'Beat him up! Beat him! Beat him!'

I passed through the crowd saying a lot of 'excuse me' and when they saw it was me, they made their way to let me pass. Then there's a lot of 'thank you' I said to those who let me walked through.

I went close and found Cohen beating Hunter up. Hunter was on his back while Cohen was on his knees, grabbing Hunter by his collar. He punched him in the face.

I was so shocked looking at the scene, I jumped a little, gasping, "Oh my god."

"Don't you dare call her that!"I heard Cohen yelled at Hunter, grabbing his collar, "She is not a whore!"

He let go of his collar and stood up. He saw me in the crowd when he turned around, then he said to the crowd, "Everyone, may I have your attention please?"

"What are you doing?" I whisper shouted at Cohen, but he ignored me.

He took my hand and pulled me to stand next to him, facing the crowd. What was he doing?

"Carys Blake here, she is my girlfriend," he proclaimed, "so no, I did not give her money to sleep with me."

What the hell?

"And our sex life is nothing of your concern. Just keep this in mind that I have never paid her to do anything for me. What you guys heard are just rumors, so don't ever talk about it, ever again."

What did he just said?

I snapped him a hard glare and said in disbelief, "Are you kidding me?"

I saw Cohen's mouth moved like he wanted to reply me but was cut off by Shelley.

"I know exactly who spread the rumors." I heard her voice shouting but I couldn't find her.

The crowd of audiences split into two to clear the way and Shelley came in with Mason and Rebecca.

"Rebecca?" What was she doing here?

"You are the one who spread the rumors? Why did you do that?" Cohen asked sounding irritated.

"Someone thought she is somebody to Cohen and when she saw this picture," Shelley showed the crowd a picture she was holding in her hand, before continuing, "she got jealous, and found revenge on her by spreading words that are not true."

I took the picture from Shelley and had a look at it. I could see from the corner of my eyes that Cohen was looking at it beside me too. It was a family photo taken at Disneyland, and in the background, a boy was giving a girl a bouquet of roses.

Yeah, the boy and the girl, were Cohen and I.

I looked at Rebecca surprisingly, and asked her, "Who took this? Where did you get that?"

I had no idea how many questions I've asked myself or other people this morning, I assumed that's uncountable.

"Answer her question, Rebecca." Cohen commanded her when he couldn't take her silence.

Under Cohen's command, Rebecca finally spoke, "My uncle was there with his family and accidentally took this picture of you, those kids in front are my cousins, when he showed us the photos he took, I recognised Cohen and her."

"She has a name," Cohen said with his jaw clenched, but each word was pronounced clearly. "Apologize to her."

Rebecca looked shocked when Cohen asked her to apologize to me, she opened her mouth and closed it, and I thought she wasn't going to do it. I was going say it was okay and she didn't have to apologize to me, when she said, "I'm sorry, Cary."

Now the jaw wasn't the only clenching part of Cohen's, his fists were clenching until his hands were becoming pink. "Her name is Carys, with an S."

"I'm sorry, Carys." She said it with a slight eye roll, I assumed she probably didn't think anyone could see that but I saw it.

"What is going on here?" Some students from the crowd ran away from the hallway after hearing Mr. Cassidy voice.

Mr. Cassidy walked up to us and took a look at us. "All of you, my office!" He commanded, before looking around at those who still haven't left, "The rest of you who are not involved, get back to your own classrooms."
