When I got out from the bathroom in the bedroom of Hunter's parents, I saw Hunter coming into the room closing the door behind him.

When he shut the door and turned around, he saw me. I guessed he was probably drunk, and had blurry eyesight, because he has to walk closer to make sure there really was someone standing in front of him. When he finally realized I was there, he asked, "What are you doing in here?"

"To use the bathroom. Cohen said it was okay..." I pointed at the bathroom and was planning to leave but Hunter was blocking my way.

"Oh. Cohen." He said as he started to walk closer to me, "You really close with him?"

"Yeah, I guess... so..." I was stepping backwards as Hunter was getting closer and closer to me until I had nowhere else to go and was leaning against the wall. "What... What are you doing, Hunter?"

Hunter put his arms at the both sides of my head, I was trapped and my feelings were telling me that something not so good was going to happen.

"Would you do what you did with Cohen Kane with me, after all, I am his best friend..." He was muttering, and I didn't know if I heard him right, even if I did, I had no idea what he was talking about.

"What are you talking abo..." I didn't even get to finish my sentence when Hunter leaned in trying to kiss me, or my neck, more specifically.

What the freaking hell was he doing?

"What are you doing?" I panicked and punched him in his face and managed to get away from his capture while used his hand to touch the side of the face that just got punched by me.

"Why?" He smirked, while turning around to look at me. He stepped on his feet and nearly fell, he must be very drunk. "Everyone knows that Cohen paid you to sleep with him. I will give you money after we finished, just tell me how much you want."

What? What did he just say? What the fucking hell was he talking about? Cohen paid me to sleep with him? And everyone knew that? What did that mean? So that's what people talked about me behind my back now? Was that why they all kept looking at me at school? So I was a prostitute now?

I wanted to reach for the door to leave the room but drunk Hunter was blocking my way, making his way toward me.

I kept walking backward until I had nowhere else to go, while trying to tell him not to come any closer, but he didn't listen. I understood it was very rude to do such things, but I had no other way. I jumped onto Hunter's parents' bed and walked over to the other side.

Hunter was clearly surprised while I jumped onto the bed, he stopped for a while before turning to his left and faced me again. Once again he tried to approach me, stumbling still, but this time he really tripped himself. Then, he passed out on the floor.

Lucky for me, he passed out at the right moment, if he didn't, I was planning on grabbing something to hit him, and I certainly did not want to do that.

I squatted down beside Hunter's passed out body. Looking at him, my anger raised from bottom all over again which resulted in me punching Hunter on his left side of the face, again.

Sorry, I'm not sorry.

"This is for believing in rumors and for God knows what you've nearly done." After I finished murmuring, I walked up to the door stretching my fist, and opened the door.

And, I bumped into Cohen at the door.

He looked at me, startled by me, and honestly, he startled me too. We both looked at each other and let out a long breath we were holding after scaring each other. He was holding a plate full of fries and nuggets in his hand just like what he told me he would go get when I came here to use the toilet.

"Do you know people can frighten each other to deaths?" I said putting a hand on my chest, glaring at him.

"Certainly not a way I want my death to be," he said softly, probably noticed the weird tone of mine while I was talking, "sorry about that, but I was waiting for you, what took you so long?" He glanced into the bedroom and saw Hunter lying on the floor. "Is that Hunter? He passed out on the floor? I think I should better get him back to his room..."

My rage just went to a higher level when I heard Hunter's name and said 'I'm leaving' irritably to Cohen before walking away furiously.

Cohen was innocent, and I felt sorry that I let my anger out on him, but I just couldn't calm myself down, not right now.

Cohen ran up and stopped me by grabbing my wrist. "Whoa. Calm down. What's wrong?"

"I just..." I didn't know where to start nor I wanted to talk about what just happened back there in Hunter's parents' bedroom, "I want to get the hell out of here."

"Okay, I'll take you home then." He suggested.

"No." I said coldly, "I'm fine on my own."

"You don't seem fine to me." His wouldn't let go of my wrist and he even tightened his grip, like he was afraid I would run away. "Come on, let's get out of here."

Then he took me out of the house through the back door.

-

"You want to go home?" Cohen looked over to me before turning back to keep his eyes on the road.

I was staring outside the window all the time, and I could see Cohen kept eyed me from the corner of his eyes through the side window. "No. I can't go home right now, it's not even 9. I don't want to go home so early and have my mom asking me questions."

"Okay, let's go to mine instead. Are you fine with that?"

I didn't say anything, I just nodded and kept looking outside.

About ten minutes later, Cohen pulled up at his front yard.

He took the key out from his pocket and opened the door, "After you."

I went into the house and quickly walked to sit down on the comfy sofa, and let myself sink into it.

Cohen didn't come to sit on the sofa with me, instead, he went to the kitchen and made some noises, I had no idea what he was doing, but the noises he made make me get my mind off everything that happened at the party.

Then the noises was gone, all I heard was footsteps.

Cohen sat down on the sofa, sat down beside me, and the sofa sank down more after he sat on it. There's two glasses in his hands, again, and he passed me one, saying, "Fresh orange."

Good god, it's fresh orange juice. That's what I really needed right now that could help me calm down, and Cohen knew exactly what I needed. Could he read my mind or something?

"Thanks." I took it and didn't even bother to fake a smile at him. Right, I was still angry at what I've heard.

I took a big mouthful of the juice, it's so delicious that I almost forgot everything. The drink not even just cold enough, the sweetness, it's just on the right amount the way I liked it. I didn't know Cohen knew how sweet I needed my fruit juices to be.

I looked at him, and my mind wandered elsewhere. I remembered the kissed that happened just a day before, I couldn't help but risen up my hopes, everything that happened these days, were all like a dream, ever since he brought me roses.

Unlike me, Cohen took a sip of his drink and placed the glass on the table, then all he did was just stared at me, which made me so uncomfortable and coughed for two times.

He was going to ask about what happened back at the party.

"So, what happened in the room?" He asked narrowing his eyes a little.

Here we go, he asked the question, and I knew I needed to tell him what happened, but I didn't know where to start.

Maybe he was really dying to know what has happened, when I wasn't showing him any sign to answer his questions, he spoke again. "Something happened, isn't it? What was it? What happened with you and Hunter in the room? What made you so angry?"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before I said, "Your best friend was suggesting that he will pay me if I have sex with him."

"What?" He was shocked, as if he had heard me wrong.

I continued, "So apparently everyone knows you paid me to sleep with you."

He chuckled lightly, like I was just telling him a joke. "That's not true. I don't need to pay you to do that, you will come into my bed willingly without getting paid."

"Exactly!" That was to respond him when he said 'that's not true' until I realized what he said afterwards. "Wait, what?! Everyone now thinks of me as a hooker and you can still make jokes?!" I shot him a hard glare and said angrily.

He looked at me with his widened eyes, processing what I said. "So you were telling..."

"The fucking truth!" I was that angry I felt like I could sing every foul word I knew out loud.

"I knew there were rumors at school, but I didn't know that..."

"It's about both of us..." I finished the sentence for him.

He nodded. "Yeah."

Thinking back about school this morning and what Hunter said, everything made sense. The way they looked at me, whispering at my back, they were really talking about me.

I let out a big sigh and sink myself back into the sofa.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"How can I go to school with everyone thinks of me as the school's prostitute? No, seriously I need to transfer. No, no, no. I need to be home-schooled from now on..." I was so afraid of the look of those people on me when I went to school. I didn't want anyone to see me as a hooker, or think of me as one, I couldn't live like that.

"Hey, hey, Carys, calm down. It's just rumors, no one will believe it."

"Your friend did!" I said fiercely, and thought of how everyone looked at me at school, I carried on to tell him everything I went through today, "and this morning at school, when I told Shelley that I think everyone was looking at me, and whispering and giggling when they saw me, she said that I was just being oversensitive, and I thought I was really just being oversensitive. Now I know I wasn't being oversensitive, because they were really talking about me and they laughed at me. Maybe they were saying how a whore I am..." I was saying every word I could think of at that moment out so fast, I almost couldn't catch up with my own pace. I was panicked, I didn't know what to do or what to say.

He put a hand on my hand and shushed asking me to stop talking, then he said in a very calm voice, "We will shut the rumors down."

"How?" I dropped into desperation, I knew I didn't sound very hopeful.

"I don't know." He said slowly, still hadn't letting go of my hand. "But trust me, I will shut the rumors down."

I looked at Cohen and sighed in despair.
