The school bell rang making everyone flattered because the school was over for today.

I met Shelley at our lockers and she was asking me, "So I assume, no hanging out today?"

I shook my head, "Amelia."

Shelley pouted when she heard my answer.

I chuckled when I saw her pouting, "Are you seriously jealous of a four-year-old?"

"I am jealous of a four-year-old who gets to hang out with my best friend," Shelley said and added, "every day."

"I'm her babysitter, we're not hanging out," I said as I closed the door of my locker, "I have responsible looking after her."

"Her older brother has more responsible than you, babysitter." Shelley murmured on our way to the school's parking lot, it wasn't quite a murmur since I heard what she said.

"And so far he has done a pretty great job, he is a nice brother who loves his little sister." I never realized what I said after it blurt out of my mouth, was I defending him?

"Not interested," Shelley declared, "so you're going over to their house today?"

"Yeah." I nodded, and then an idea popped up into my mind, "you can come over if you want, maybe your you-know-who will be there as well."

Shelley grabbed my car's door handle and opened the car door. "I think I'll pass."

"Are you sure?" I said while getting into the driver's seat.

"One more word and I will walk home by myself."

And with that she slammed my door closed.

"Okay... The door's innocent. Now get into the car, I have a child waiting for me."

After dropping Shelley off, I drove back to my house and ate an egg sandwich before leaving home to babysit Amelia.

I left slightly earlier than normal because I decided to walk there. I have a lot in my mind right now, and walking can make my thoughts clearer.

They lived four blocks away from mine, so it took me 20 minutes before I reached their house.

Here I was, standing in front of a big, modern house built with wood, brick and fiber cement panels. The wood panels were in dark chocolate color, which was one of my favorite colors. I really liked that house, it looked very beautiful outside, and wait until you see the interior decorations, it would made you really want to move into the house, right now.

That house was exactly how I would like my dream house to look like, and that will always be just a dream, I was well aware of that.

Will ever be that rich?

Will I ever be able to live in a beautiful house like this?

Let out of a sigh and shook my head before my thoughts went too far that will eventually ruin my good mood, I walked up to the door and rang the bell.

"There you are!" was the first thing I heard before I saw the person who opened the door for me.

"I can finally go shower now," the person continued, I went straight into the living room and ignored the person who disappeared right after I stepped into the house.

The living room was big, and the decorations were as modern as you could imagine. The L-shaped sofa that could let more than 15 people sat on it, the 100-inch LED TV and probably the biggest TV that I've ever saw in my life, made me wanna stay here forever. Between the sofa and TV, was a simple square-shaped wooden coffee table.

That sofa seems very comfy, and it's really comfy. If they ever allow me to move in here, I don't even need a room, I can sleep on that sofa which is softer than my bed...

Okay I am not here to admire the sofa...

Beside the sofa, there was a special area for Amelia to play with her toys. You would probably imagined that she owned many toys just like the other spoiled rich kids you saw after you found out how fancy their house was.

If you think that, then you're wrong, she only has some toys and they were - a toy tree school, a megna tiles set and her favorite plush giraffe toy, that's all the toys she has. Wondered why? Well, Amelia liked to draw, and she drew and colored all the time, so most of the time she didn't seem to bother with the other toys. Just give her her drawing book, then she'll do that all day.

"Hey, Amy." I knelt down in the middle of the living room and I was approximately six feet away from the little blonde girl who was currently playing with her toy school.

"Carys!" Amelia shouted my name after she turned around and saw me. She ran all the way to give me a hug and I couldn't help but grinned with delight, this little girl could make you forget all your worries, and the sofa.

Then I heard footsteps walking downstairs.

I thought he was supposed to be showering.

Do guys always shower that quickly?

But I never heard the sound of running water..

So he hasn't showered yet.

Why am I kept thinking about a guy showering?

"Oh, right," I turned to glare at the staircase with a very confusing face, there stood a topless guy who was only in his Nike shorts, "I have friends coming over later, can you bring Amelia to your house?"

"You should've told me earlier, I walked here." I tried my best not to look at his shirtless area, just in case my nose started bleeding like hell and I'd be so embarrassed maybe I won't wanna live anymore.

"Are you insane, it's like 15 minutes walk from your house."

"For you, it took me 20 minutes."

Okay, now I couldn't control myself much longer, my eyes drifted to his abs, his six-pack abs which made me suddenly feeling very thirsty right now. He was walking towards my direction, getting closer and closer, and the abs were clearer and clearer, until he walked past me and there's no abs in my sight anymore.

What a shame.

"Then you walk faster than I thought." He said with a smirk as he walked towards a cabinet beside the television.

Was that a compliment?

That was definitely not a compliment!

Realizing what he actually meant, I rolled my eyes at his back, declaring, "I am not that short!"

But he seemed to not notice my rolling eyes and simply just ignored my declaration.

If my eyes were laser...

He threw something that he took out from the cabinet into my direction, and of course my first instinct was to catch it.

When I caught it I still had no idea what that was. I opened my right hand and saw that it was actually a car key.

"Take the car." He started saying, "I will text you after we're done."

"Okay." I nodded, trying not to think about what he meant by 'when we're done', but my mind couldn't help imagining any kind of scenarios that was going to happen in this house.

Who's coming over?

Is it a guy or a girl?

If it were a girl, what are they gonna do?

Simply hanging out? Watching TV? I don't think so...

Maybe it's what I am thinking about...

S... E... X...

I didn't know why I was having a weird feeling after thinking about that, I felt my heart wrenched a little bit just on the thought of that.

I put my attention back on the little sister instead of the big brother, and I totally meant it when I said this little girl could make you forget all your worries. "Well, sweetie, seems like we're going to my house, which one you want to take with you?"

"I remember somebody left her drawing book at Carys's." He held Amelia up in his arms and smiled at her.

I could never deny the fact that I was so envy of Amelia whenever I saw her brother smiled at her like that or holding her in his arm like that.

I wished that it could be me. Not that I wanted to be his little sister, I wanted to be his princess that he would treat me like I was a delicate, beautiful flower that meant everything to him, and every movement and every touch of his was so careful because he was afraid he would hurt me if he had a wrong movement or touch.

That's how he treated his little sister with a 13-year gap between them.

"Yes. Then I will take Giselle with me, and go to Carys's, to finish my drawings." Giselle was Amelia's plush giraffe toy, she went everywhere with it, it's the first thing she would look for after waking up in the morning, and it's clasped tightly in her arm right now.

"Sure. Let's go, Amy." I said when I held Amelia's unoccupied hand after her brother put he down.

"Oh, and take this puzzle as well," he passed me a jigsaw puzzles box that was on the coffee table all the time, "she bought it yesterday."

I took it over from him and nodded, "okay."

He kneeled down and kissed Amelia on her cheek, "See you later, little cupcake."

"Goodbye, Cohen." Amelia replied and kissed on his cheek as well.

"Bye, Carys." He said as we walked towards the door.

"Bye."

I know that's pretty obvious that Cohen was Amelia's big brother and the main male character of this story lmao

Again thanks to everyone who's reading.
