As I heard the alarm that I set up in my phone last night, I knew my precious spring break was officially over.

Why couldn't spring break be longer than a week?

As much as I didn't want to, I eventually managed to drag myself out of my bed and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

For your information, I did all that with my eyes closed.

But my eyes were wide opened when I touched the water. The water was so cold and I felt like my hands were freezing.

After a quick morning shower, I put on my normal outfit, getting ready for school.

Ugh. Is spring break really over? Or am I just dreaming?

Dreaming myself getting ready for school? That's what I'll call a nightmare.

But I would rather have a nightmare right now than facing the real nightmare at school.

Do I?

I would rather to go to school during day and have good dreams at night.

Really?

When I was thinking about which kind of nightmare I would rather have, I heard my mom called from downstairs. "Carys, honey, breakfast's ready."

I looked down to see I was already in my black and white stripes long sleeve T-shirt and jeans.

When did I put them on?

Maybe just now when I was thinking...

I took my olive green army jacket and my backpack from my chair and trudged my way down to the kitchen.

My backpack was so heavy since it was filled with my textbooks I brought home to study during spring break.

Yes. I studied during spring break, I knew it sounded lame but studying at home was way better than studying at school, because you can study whenever you want, you can stay up late and didn't need to worry about getting up early in the morning...

"Morning, sweetheart."

"Morning, mom." There might be a bit of laziness in my tone.

And my mom obviously noticed it. "Enjoy your school days while you can, honey, you're gonna miss it once you started working."

Ugh. Work. Can't I just stay at home and do nothing forever?

No, I can't. We need money, and I need to work to earn money.

"You told me this almost everyday, mom."

"Because that is the truth, Carys, to enjoy your high school life, and after that, college life." My mom smiled at me when she said, she had the most beautiful smile in the world, and that's what I loved the most in the world, well, beside my mother.

It felt so nice to be back at school...

Like I was telling the truth...

Seriously, I was.

I liked school, especially our school, I just didn't like getting up so early in the morning for five days a week, in a row if I might add, I bet everyone felt the same way as I was, and people tended to whine a little bit while waking up, not just me.

Heading towards my locker, someone wrapped her arm around my shoulders.

It didn't take me any hesitation to know who it was, since there's only one people who would do this to me at school.

And she was my one and only best friend, Shelley Morrison.

"Happy first day after spring break, Car." She greeted me with her signature smile just like when she saw everyone, only broader when she saw me. Shelley was the kind of girl who found her enthusiasm in everything she did, the happy-go-lucky girl that smiles never left her face.

"You too, Shell." Just looking at her will make me felt happy as well.

However, that smile that never left, faded once we reached our lockers and she started checking me out like my jeans ripped at the back that revealed my underwear...

For goodness' sake, that better won't ever happen on me, because I didn't check if my jeans were ripped or not this morning before I put them on, I even forgot that how and when did I put them on, remember?

"What's wrong?" I asked her as I put my textbooks into my locker.

She didn't answer me right away, she turned around and opened her locker, which located beside mine, before she started talking. "Are you sure you wear enough clothes? It's just like 13 degrees celsius today..."

I looked down to see my outfits, a long sleeve tee plus an army jacket, was I not wearing enough?

"I don't feel cold." I shrugged.

"Do you ever feel cold?" Shelley raised an eyebrow.

"Of course I do, Shell, I am human."

I saw Shelley opened her mouth and closed again when we heard murmurs around the hallway.

We looked at each other after we closed our locker's doors at the same time.

There's no doubt everyone was talking about the popular guys at the school, more specifically, the MOST popular guys.

Soon, three boys came into my sight. Everyone in the hallway was staring at them, admiring their good looks and confidences.

How could I tell that they were confident?

They walked down the hallway like it was a freaking fashion show runway stage, with a smug look on their faces, that's how I could tell.

Please allow me to introduce them to you, regardless you're interested or not, I will just tell you anyway. The one on the left with dark hair, his name was Hunter Jones. You could tell that he was thinner than the other two boys and was slightly shorter, made him doesn't look as strong as them. He gave me a bad vibe ever since I first met him at school, I didn't like him much, but he was still seemed attractive to some of the girls in our school, in some kind of way that I could never understand.

The one on the right, was Mason McWay, the tallest among the three of them who also appeared to have the most gorgeous hair. His hair was flawless, if I ever got the courage deep inside me, I would go up and ask him how he took care of his hair, I needed his little secret so bad. Two things I liked the most on him were the blonde hair and his pair of grey eyes. I mean, blonde hair with grey eyes, that was like the most perfect combination in the world.

Last but not least, the brown haired boy, walking in the middle between Hunter and Mason, was Cohen Kane, and his body was definitely in a really good shape that made every girl in this school wanted to sleep with him. On that seriously beautiful face of his, carved the most perfect pair of hazel eyes in the world, the way they looked at you, would literally make you melt. You could also never miss the straight nose under those pair of eyes, or the alluring soft lips under it.

Well, I guessed they were soft judging by the look of it, it's not like I've ever put my own lips on those.

They didn't seem to notice everyone's gaze on them, and I was jealous with them on this. I could never be so natural if everyone was paying their attention on me, I will be shaking and my face will turn red, it's something that I could never get used to.

Once they left the hallway, everyone turned around and carried on doing the things they were doing.

"Isn't he the most perfect creature that ever lived?" That smile came back to Shelley's face after the guys left, she has a huge crush on one of the boys for as long as I can remember.

"Who?" I decided to tease her a little bit.

"You know who I was talking about." She rolled her eyes at me, which was the cutest.

"Who?" I asked again.

"Don't make me say his name out loud, Car, you know it's my secret!" She turned around to see if there's someone near enough to hear us, she was so afraid to say her crush's name at school and if I wasn't mistaken, she never did.

So, of course, I was the only one who knew about her crush on Mason.

I opened my mouth trying to say 'who' one more time but was cut off by Shelley.

"If you say 'who' one more time, Carys Blake, I won't promise your secret will still be safe with me."

Okay, Shelley knew how to shut me up and I never said anything until our first period was over.

It wasn't just Shelley who has a name that she would never mention at school, I have a name too.
