Soft music was playing in my ears. With one hand showing the light and another hand inside my pockets, I kept on walking. The road was completely dark, lonely and desolate. I couldn't help but feel  scared. But nonetheless, I kept on walking.

"Chill Y/N. You won't die. It's just the negative thoughts in your head that's making you paranoid.", I tried to calm myself down.

Suddenly I felt someone following me. Cold wind brushed past my face making me shiver. I was too afraid to turn back. The noise of something being dragged came occasionally and I didn't know what was the cause of that sound.

Yup, you are dying today.

I didn't even get a nice vacation before dying.

I wanted to cry and scream badly. Suddenly, I felt someone touch my shoulders and I instantly jumped and screamed loudly on impulse.

"Don't hurt me please!!!! HELP!!!!", I shouted on top of my lungs, closing my eyes shut and hugging my torchlight closer.

Several thoughts at once rushed inside my head. Is it some wild animal? Am I going to be gobbled up now?

"HELPPP!!!", I kept on screaming, though I knew that it wasn't gonna be of any help.

"Ssssshhhh", A voice came and I felt someone's hand on my mouth. Immediately, I felt my head hit a chest and warm hands wrapped around my body tightly.

I was so scared that I couldn't even open my eyes. "Shit. Leave me!"

But the hold on my body just became tighter.

Engulfed in the warmth that was radiating from that body, I felt myself getting calmer.

"I didn't know you could scream like that. Jesus, I think my ear drums  burst.", The familiar voice rang in my ears.

I sniffed quietly, not understanding who it was. I was so afraid that I could neither respond properly, nor hear the voice clearly. It felt like a sudden wave hitting me at once.

Seeing that I had still not stopped crying, the person said.

"It's me. Don't be afraid. I am here."

"Mr Park---", I recognized the voice finally and my hands which were holding the torch let go of it and I hugged him tightly.

"I told you not to go. It's not safe. But you wouldn't listen. See how frightened you were.", He scolded softly.

"But it was done fairly and everyone seemed so happy. I didn't want to ruin their mood.", I told in a small voice.

"You don't need to care about others. You just need to care about me and yourself. That's it.", He said.

I didn't speak anything because I didn't want to make him more angry.

I think that seeing me so quiet made him feel more bad.

"W-why were you following me? Didn't you tell that you had headache and went to sleep?", I asked.

"How can I leave you alone like that? I just told that so that noone would be suspicious that I was gone.", He said.

I couldn't help but feel touched. Why would he go at such lengths just to make sure I was safe?

"Thank you so much, Mr Park."

I didn't even realize that we had been in each other's arms for so long. But the hug was incredibly comfortable and for some reason, I didn't want to stop.

"Do, do you want to hug me more? It's fine with me but we have to get to the waterfall and return back as well.", He questioned which immediately made me lift my head up.

"N-No I am fine. I am sorry. Uhh...Thank you Mr Park", I said and my cheeks flushed.

I picked up my torchlight. Thank god, it didn't drop too harshly and was still working. I started walking with him towards my destination in silence.

I turned my head at side generally to see what he was doing and when he looked at me, I immediately looked at front.

"..........."

"..........."

"............"

"............."

"Do you want to say anything, Miss Kim?", he suddenly asked.

"No No No, I am good.", I told, my heart was beating rapidly.

He stared at me and then, smiled. He giggled softly which made his eyes disappear. why does he have to do that?

I am not a teenager who has a crush on him, Christ.

"We don't have to be awkward. In order to get the conversation going, let's play a game of asking questions and answering them.", He said.

I nodded. I never expected Mr Park would play games like these, that also in his initiation.

"Who goes first?", He asked.

"You because you are my boss.", I said.

"No, because ladies go first. You go ahead and I will ask questions.", He said.

"No Mr Park, you should go first.", I told.

"No, you should go first Miss Kim.", He said.

"No Mr Park, you should."

"No Miss Kim, you should."

"Let's play rock paper scissors", I told.

"Fine with me. Loser needs to go first.", He said.

"Rock paper scissors", I chanted and immediately made a paper sign.

But Mr Park had made scissors sign. So unfortunately I lost.

"Ugh, Ok, ask the question.", I said.

"Hmmm, we can ask any questions right?", Jimin said.

"Yes, Mr Park."

"Then, what do you want to do after resigning?", He asked.

"I think I have made it pretty clear before as well. But I just want to enjoy life after resigning. I will go for a nice vacation, won't think about any work and even if I start working, I will take the less hectic ones, perhaps help out my sister. And maybe find love."

"Haven't you ever found love before? Like getting in a relationship?", He asked.

"That's a question for another time. It's my turn now. Hmmm, I am just wondering if I should be straightforward or not. But I will ask since I am curious. Who is that girl you mentioned in the truth or dare game?"

He chuckled, his beautiful laugh ringing in my ears.

"Should I be straightforward and tell the answer or shouldn't I be?", He asked.

"If you don't want to tell the answer, it's fine with me......I was just curious."

"I will tell you soon. You might be shocked. So I won't spill now."

"Is it Areum?"

"My ex-girlfriend? What makes you think about her?"

"Uhmmm.....No just that, I have seen you calling her a lot even after breakup and I have never seen you like that with your previous ex-girlfriends."

"She isn't.", He replied.

"Then, I think I will ask the question now.", He told.

"Sure."

"Have you ever felt those kind of special emotions for a guy before? Have you ever loved anyone?", He asked.

"I honestly don't know because I think I am yet to explore what love means. I am a very inexperienced person in it. Those kind of special emotions, I don't think I have ever felt for a guy."

"Then for a girl?", He asked.

"No, I am not attracted to girls, Mr Park.", I laughed.

"Okay, then let's move on to another question. Whose turn is it?"

"My turn. So, hmmm, what should I ask? Ok then, what's the ideal type of girl or wife you want?"

"That's a simple question. Someone who is smart, intelligent, caring, loving, kind, who is willing to forgive me if I make any mistakes, who is willing to accept the good and bad in me, who won't ever hesitate to love me. Basically someone like you Miss Kim."

"What? I am sorry Mr Park? ", I asked, my eyes turning wide.

"I am sorry, I meant that someone who has those good traits like you, like smart, intelligent, loving, kind, caring. I didn't mean to associate you with it.", He said.

"Thank you, I am flattered. I hope you will get your ideal type of girl as well."

"Yes, I hope."

I didn't realize when we had arrived at the waterfall. The sound of water falling was beautiful and it was a wonderful place.

"Wow, it's breathtaking. I love it.", I told.

"It's really beautiful.", He said.

"I will take some pictures then.", I said and clicked some photos of myself as well as the waterfall.

"Miss Kim, don't go too close. You might slip and fall into the water. ", He said.

"I am good, Mr Park.", I said and stepped a bit closer to take better pictures.

But unfortunately, I stepped in a slippery place and before I could balance myself, I fell into the cold water with a big splash.

"Help!!!!", I shouted while panicking inside the cold water that made me feel like I was losing my sense. I gasped for breath, feeling very troubled. On top of that, the cold water froze my nerves, making me numb. I also  gulped down huge gulps of water while struggling.

"Miss Kim!!!!", Immediately he took of his coat and jumped into the water.

The water was freezing cold and he caught her soaked body. Slowly, he pulled her out of the water. He carried her to the side, the water was so cold that it was making him feel frozen.

He looked at her and checked her breathing. There was no sign of breathing. Immediately, he checked for her pulse rate and it was very weak. The body had turned pale because of the cold.

"Y/N, wake up!", He shouted. But she wasn't moving.

Her lifeless body was making him quiver in fear. His heart was beating rapidly thinking of all the negative things that could happen.

"CPR", The idea flashed in his mind. He kept his hand on her forehead and knelt down beside her. Then, he placed his other hand on her chin. He took a deep breath and placed his mouth in hers.

He once again lifted his head up, took a deep breath and placed his mouth in hers, repeating the process.

Finally, at the fifth try, he finally noticed her breathing. Her eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Mr Park----", I weakly called him.

Seeing that I had gained consciousness, he immediately took me in his arms and hugged me tightly.

"I thought I lost you----", He said in a weak voice and I felt something wet drop in my forehead. I thought it was water but little did I know that those were tears....

"Why don't you ever listen to me? Didn't I tell you not to go too closer?", He scolded.

"I was just taking some pictures....", I quietly defended myself. "And I always listen to you..."

"Don't talk back to me. You scared the living hell out of me."

"Does it, does it hurt anywhere?", He asked. His face was tensed and he looked so worried.

"No Mr Park, it doesn't. I am sorry...."

"It's alright....Please don't scare me like that again.", He whispered.

After a while, I freed myself from the embrace and got up. I was soaked to skin and so was Mr Park.

"Take this coat.", He told giving his coat to me.

"But you are also cold?", I asked.

"I can handle it. You even fainted and lost breathing. You are more weak. Take it.", He said.

"Thank you Mr Park.", I said.

We picked up our things and slowly started walking back.

"Miss Kim...."

"Yes Mr Park?"

"I want to say something to you. You won't mind right?"

"I won't. Just say it."

"That girl I mentioned in the truth and dare game was you...and that short moment, where I felt that I experienced love for the first time, was when I kissed you......... It was something  magical. I had never experienced something like that ever before. It was like I had finally found someone who could feel the emptiness in my heart."

I just stayed wide-eyed. I couldn't believe a single word what he was telling.

"I don't want any answers. And I know you don't feel like that for me. But yes, I like you and today when you fell into the water, I felt for a second, that I lost my whole world...."

"If that didn't happen, maybe I would have never told this and maybe that feeling also would have gone with time but no, I want to confess to you that I like you........"

"...........That I also want you to like me back......."

".......And I will do what it takes to make you feel like that for me as well."

".....to make you mine......"

I was speechless and couldn't even utter a single word.

Then, he slowly leaned closer to me and his lips met mine. I felt myself being lost in him, in his touch, his eyes, his lips. When I gained consciousness earlier, I had felt some unfamiliar taste in my mouth.

And now when he was kissing me, I felt that taste again, this time so familiar.

He pulled me closer and I felt myself being lost in that melting sweetness. Everything felt hazy but I wouldn't stop.

Because this man right here, had just now claimed that I was his and I wouldn't disagree.

"Even if our roads are different, even if I am the sky and you are the sea, I want you to know that I want to find you on the horizon...."

"I want you to know that I  like you and just like how you accept each and every thing I say, you will have to accept this as well....please...", His words rendered me speechless. His words held a tone of dominance but also a silent plea...like he was begging me, afraid of any further rejection.

"I like you and I want you to know it....", He said before leaning closer for another kiss.

----I will knock at the doors of your heart just to know that I am still there----
