Seven-

Every year the seniors participate in something called Nerf Wars.

It's where all the seniors get Nerf guns and they get to skip most of school and go around the county and they have to shoot each other. The last one standing wins.

Of course we have one class, and of course that class is math, with Mrs.Krause, who is the school's bitchiest teacher. Every student agrees, even some of my other teachers agree.

Of course my phone goes off, right in the middle of a lecture.

All eyes go to me, and Mrs.Krause sends me a murderous glare. "Are you going to answer that Mr.Daniel?"

Gulping, I shake my head. It stops ringing, before starting right back up. "I suggest you answer it."

I take out my phone and see it's my Dad, who's watching Skylar. My heart begins to pound in my chest. "Is something wrong?" I ask him without greeting and concern laced through my words. I am well aware of all the eyes on me, including Crystal's. Her state is intense and questioning.

"I'm sorry to bother you at school, but we have a situation."

I grip the side of the desk out of nervousness. "What kind of situation? Is Skylar okay?"

"Oh, yeah, she's fine, it's nothing like that. I got called into work and need you to come and get her." I let out the breath I was holding in relief. Thank god.

"I can't leave school Dad." I look up to see Mrs.Krause behind her desk, impatiently waiting for me to get off the phone. "Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes."

I hang up without saying goodbye and walk up to Mrs.Krause's desk. "I need to leave."

"And why is that?" She folds her arms across her chest and stands up taller.

I look around to make sure no one is listening before leaning in and whispering, "my dad needs me to pick up my daughter."

She scoffs. "You don't have a daughter."

"Yeah, I do, and I need to go pick her up."

"Sit down right now or you are going to have to take it up with the principal."

The familiar ding appears, signaling announcement. "Mrs.Krause, can you send Colton Daniel to the office prepared to leave. Thank you."

I give her a smug look before grabbing my stuff and leaving her classroom. Dad is waiting in the office, Skylar beside him.

"Sorry son, she's being fussy and I really have to go."

With a hug goodbye, Dad leaves. I pick up Skylar. "What's wrong huh?" I then realize a strong odor is coming from her, specifically from her lower region. "Ewe Sky, you stink. No wonder you're so grumpy."

Before leaving the office, one of the ladies stop me. "You're father informed us of your situation. We plan on telling all your teachers and give you special uses of your phone to keep in contact with whoever is watching her."

I half-smile before saying, "thanks."

"Oh, and you can still participate in Nerf Wars, here's your gun," she hands me a plastic gun full of bullets. "Just look over the rules on our website and we'll inform your classmates to keep it fair. Good luck." This time I give her a real smile, showing teeth and all, before leaving the office.

The rules are pretty simple. All the seniors that are passing all classes get to participate. You have to stay within the county and wear this special vest thing that shows if you were shot or not. You're disqualified if you take it off. On the school Twitter you can see who's still in. The last one standing wins. Last year it went on until two in the morning, this football player winning. You get a trophy at the assembly the next day.

By the time I get home and change Skylar the war has started. One of the rules is you can't stay in a house, you have to be out in the open, so I take Skylar and decide to take her to the park, my gun handy by my side.

I shoot a few people, but other then that it's pretty uneventful.

By ten Skylar's getting restless, she's tired and cranky. There's only a few people left, including Crystal and I. I wonder what Crystal's doing?

I drop Skylar off with my mom at home and go back into the night.

I almost get hit a couple of times, but manage to make it to the final four. Seeing that Crystal is also alive, I try and find her.

She's on the beach, like I expected her to be. She sees me and smirks. "Congratulations, final four."

I hold my gun up, as does she. "You look cute tonight, by the way," I tell her. She's decked out in pink camo, with black lines under her eyes and a pink camo bandana.

She smirks. "I know."

You can guess how this ends, but I'm going to tell you anyways.

She shoots me while I'm checking her out, and I stare at her in disbelief. "You shot me!"

She's about to say something when a bullet hits her chest. I whip around and see a cheerleader with a smirk on her face, before she runs away.

"Oh darn. Well, want to grab a midnight snack?" Crystal asks, removing her vest. I do the same.

"I still can't believe you shot me," I tease as we walk down the beach, hand in hand. It's been a fun day, acting like a normal teenager.

Crystal comes home with me since she's exhausted and her house is a few miles away. Cuddling with my girl is the best, falling asleep with her next to me is even better.

The next day I decide not to go to school because Skylar's sick and she can't go to daycare if she's sick, so she needs someone to watch her, and that someone is me.

Crystal tells me she's staying home with me, much to my displeasure. It's not like I don't love her company, I just don't want her to miss school because of me. She tells me I have no choice in the matter, so I suck it up.

By noon we're on our second movie, and Skylar's finally asleep in her crib. Crystal pauses the movie before turning towards me. "You know, we haven't done anything sexual for a while now." Her voice drops low as she licks her lips. I can't help but chuckle. You'd think someone as hot as Crystal would be great at seduction and dirty talk, but she actually kinda sucks at it unless we're in the middle of making out or something.

She groans. "Why do you always laugh when I do that?"

"I'm sorry, I won't laugh again." I peck her nose before saying, "but you're right, we should have sexual intercourse."

She glares at me before standing up. "If you don't stop being a dick then you won't be getting any anytime soon."

I snake my arms around me waist before pulling her to my lap. "I'm just teasing love." I place a kiss on her bare shoulder. "I would love to do something sexual."

She turns around in my lap and pushes my shoulders to tell me to lay down. I do just that so she's straddling me. Crystal takes off her tank top, leaving her in her red lace bra I love. She captures my lips with her own in a passionate kiss, as she starts moving her hips in a grinding motion. Her lips move to my neck and my hands go to cup her perfect, round ass.

A whimper that didn't come from Crystal makes me freeze my movements and stop Crystal's. She looks at me, confused. I point to Skylar, who's stirring in her crib.

Please don't wake up, please don't wake up...

When Skylar goes still again I sigh in relief. Crystal continues her torturous movements. My shirt is thrown somewhere across the room, along with her shorts and bra, and my jeans.

Her movements are slow as she goes to cup my manhood through my boxers. I let out a grunt as I get painfully harder. Crystal's sinful lips touch my ear, and she whispers, "do you want me to suck it?"

All I can do is nod. "Sit up against the headboard." I do as she says and watch as she ever so slowly removes my boxers. I'm pretty average in size, not hung like a monster, but also not too small that I can't satisfy a girl, 'cause trust me, I can.

"Tell me what you want big boy," Crystal says as her hand lightly strokes me.

My eyes flutter shut. "Fuck, I want your mouth around me."

I feel her tongue first, before her full mouth. She is hands down the best head I have ever had. "Fuck, faster Trin."

I think I realized what I said before she did. My eyes pop open and the warmth of her mouth is removed. Her eyes hold confusion, hurt, anger, as her gaze meets mine. Finally sadness takes over and tears well in her eyes. "God, I knew you weren't over her!" Crystal's off my bed in a flash, retrieving her clothes.

"Crystal, calm down, let me explain," I say, frantically trying to get myself out of bed.

"There really isn't anything to explain."

"I didn't mean to say her name, I swear." I reach out for her hand, but she snatches it away like my touch burned her.

"Well you did, which means somewhere inside you, you wished Trinity was the one who was sucking you off, not me."

"That's ridiculous. Crystal, don't cry. Please don't cry," I beg.

She wipes her tears away fiercely with the back of her hand. "You're right, I shouldn't be crying over you."

"Crystal." I reach for her hand again.

"Stop trying to touch me!" She screams, which makes me flinch and take a few steps back. "I need to leave."

"Don't leave," I say, my voice seeming small and weak.

"I don't think you understand how hurt I am Colton. How would you feel if I moaned another guy's name, especially an ex."

I wouldn't feel too good. Just thinking about it makes me angry. "Exactly. I'm going to go home, you figure out what you want and then give me a call."

My bedroom door is slammed shut, leaving the room silent.

"Fuck." I kick my bed. "Fuck!" Destroying my room seems like the right thing to do, so that's exactly what I do.

I'm in the middle of ripping all the posters and pictures off my wall when my eyes meet Skylar's confused ones. I stop my actions and look around the room. How much did she see?

Then I realize it's Skylar's fault. I had moved on from Trinity, rarely ever thought about her, especially when I was with Crystal. Figuring out you had a baby with someone makes you think about them a lot. She's ruining me, slowly but surely.

A knock on my door makes me jump. I know it's Mom. I don't feel like being lectured right now, so I lay in bed and pretend to be asleep.

She comes in and says my name. I don't even stir. With a sigh she sits on the edge of my bed. "I hope you don't make the same mistakes I did," mom says as she moves some hair off of my forehead. With a sigh she stands up. "Daddy didn't even realize you were up, did he?" I open my eyes a fraction, enough so I can see Mom picking up Skylar. "I don't know why he doesn't want to keep you, you're the perfect little girl."

I don't think anyone realizes why I don't want to keep her. She deserves a mom and a dad who can give her everything and love her the way she deserves to be loved. Sadly, she can't get that from me.

Chad comes over to me minutes before the game starts. "Hey, sorry if this is too personal, but there's a rumor going around that you have a kid."

I, being in game mode, just nod. Sooner or later people are going to find out, might as well be sooner.

When I look over I see the cheerleaders, which includes Crystal. She seems so... Normal. We haven't talked in a week. I have tried calling her countless times, I've left her many voicemails, telling her I want her. I just want her.

After the game, which we win, I try and find Crystal in the crowd. I finally find her talking to Drake, her ex-boyfriend, by the girl's locker room. She's leaning against the wall in leggings and my lacrosse sweatshirt, while he has both hands by her head, pinning her to the wall. Hope bubbles up inside me, she's wearing my sweatshirt after all. I know she sees me, I'm standing no more than ten feet away.

I know what she's going to do before she does it. I know it when I see her hands clasp around his neck. For some reason, I can't seem to look away. I watch as she kisses another man, and I know we're over.

"Camp relationships are dumb," Trinity says, looking up at the stars. We just took a midnight dip in the ocean, like we do most nights now. We never get caught, and I soon realized that it was because no one really cares. A lot of campers sneak out at night.

"Why do you say that?" I ask, grabbing her hand and looping our fingers together.

She shrugs. "But don't worry, our relationship isn't a camp one."

I place our hands on my chest and raise my eyebrows in question. "It's not?"

She shakes her head. "I think this is more than just a stupid camp relationship. We actually care about each other."

"I'm so glad my parents sent me here," I say, mostly to myself.

Trinity turns to her side and loops one leg around mine. "And why is that?"

I kiss the tip of her nose. "Because if I never went here, I would have never met an amazing, wonderful, smart, sexy, talented girl." I would have never met the love of my life.

Trinity blushes and buries her face into my shoulder. "I'm far from sexy."

"You can be sexy when you want to be." It's true that most of the time she's this awkward, clumsy girl, but hell, does she turn me on.

"Can I do something?" She asks.

"Like what?"

Trinity gave me my very first blow job that night. It was her first, too. I told her what felt good and what didn't, and in return I did the same to her. After it was all done we laughed and agreed it would get better, which it did.
