"I can't believe they killed Wes' character,"  I said throwing some popcorn into my mouth. Justin shook his head not believing it also. It was prom and just as we planned we were binge watching Netflix while stuffing our stomachs with food.

"The show will never be the same again," Justin commented. "Anyways, you cannot tell me these apartments aren't nice," he said lifting up one of them and showing me. He came with a magazine that has apartments in California for when I moved. I had to admit, most of them were nice, expensive, but nice.

"You're right," I told him. I sighed and played the new episode of How To Get Away With Murder. "You're going to come to visit me in California, right?" I asked Justin. He turned and looked at me.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world, just make sure you have a pool," I laughed and turned my attention back to the television. My doorbell rung and I groaned, "expecting someone?"

"No, but Charlene and Charles said they wanted to come to see me this week, let's hope it's not them," I said referring to my new found siblings. We haven't been speaking for a while, they lived out of the city, so we did not get a chance to see each other often. They said they would come a few weeks early for my graduation and my graduation was only three weeks ago. I cannot believe I was finally going to graduate high school. "Let me go check," I said pushing the blanket away from me and getting up the sofa. I put my sandals on and dragged myself to the door, when I opened it, I was expecting them, but it was CJ.

His hands were inside his pocket as he stared at me. I thought he would be at prom or something, he must have been coming from there since he was in a nice tux. I looked up and down at him and raised my eyebrow, "can I help you?" I ask him.

"Yeah," he replied, "can we talk?" He asked.

"I'm kind of busy right now, you cannot just drop by at my house and expect me to be available."

"Well, I called," he told me, "I figured you were ignoring my calls, thought I could drop by," he said.

"I'm sorry, I have nothing to say and I am busy," I told him again.

"Busy with what?" He questioned.

"Well, Justin and I are watching a very important show," I answered him, he huffed shaking his head.

"It's on Netflix, it'll be there when you're done," I heard Justin's voice say behind me. I turned around rolling my eyes at him. He knew I did not want to talk to CJ, I did not know what to say to him and I doubt what he would say would interest me.

"Mhmm," CJ said agreeing, "grab your phone and let's go for a walk," I sighed and walked to the living room and grabbed my phone.

"Let's go," I said passing pass him, I heard him close the door and started walking even though I hated walking. "CJ, what do you want?" I asked him again, "shouldn't you be at prom with Ana or something?" I questioned, "I was enjoying my evening and you had to come to ruin it."

"Left prom early," he stated, "plus I doubt I ruined your evening, you were watching television with Justin," he chuckled, "hey," he grabbed my hand stopping me. We were still by my house in the parking lot. "Stop being so defensive, I just want to talk to you and I know I ruined that, but just please hear me out," I shook my head. The door of the house across from mine where he used to live opened, he turned and looked at it.

A new family had moved in a few weeks ago, from what I could tell, they were nice people. Even though he's the one who decided to sell the house, I wonder how he must be feeling, he had lived in this place all his life even after his parents got divorced. "Um... so how have you been?" He asked me. Oh, that's really how he wanted to start his conversation.

"Good," I replied, "what about you?"

"Fine," he said, we started walking down the neighborhood. It was already dark, the stars were out, a fresh breeze, it was a beautiful spring night. "Bianca," he called me, "Ana and I aren't dating, she's just a friend," he told me.

"You don't' have to tell me that," I told him. Part of me was happy knowing he had not moved on yet considering he said he wanted a break because of his mother.

"I know, I wanted to. I saw how you reacted the other day when you saw her," he told me. "So, why have you been ignoring me?"

"Ignoring you?" I asked him, I thought it was the opposite.

"Yes, you walk away whenever you see me and you did not answer my calls," he stated, "anyways, it does not matter. Justin called me," he said.

"About what?" I quickly asked him, I did not trust him and Justin talking. Nothing good can come out of it.

"You actually," he replied like it was nothing. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were that hurt about the breakup and Ana and about everything, really. I'm sorry, kind of out of practice with the whole girl thing and I kind of lost the person who had been training me," I tried not to laugh at him.

"Forget that Justin violated my privacy," I told him. My feelings were personal between him and I. "But, um... I was just trying to help and you pushed me out, CJ, why would you think I wouldn't be hurt with that?"

"Because you're Bianca," he told me, "you always have it together and why would I think little old me could hurt you?" He asked me. I stopped walking and he did so also. I looked at him, he raised his eyebrow.

"Because I care about you CJ and trust me I beat myself up every day for caring about a guy who does not care how his actions might affect me or who wouldn't see how much I care," I said. "Thanks for the talk, I'm going home," I told him.

"Wait," he walked after me, "I'm sorry, just give me a second chance and I promise I will-"

"It does not matter, CJ," I cut him off, "I'm leaving the week after we graduate," I told him walking away. This time I did not hear him following me home. I rushed my way back to my house, thank God we did not get far.
