"John mentioned that you played soccer," Victoria said as we sat eating dinner. I thought to stand in the kitchen with them was awkward, but this was even more awkward. My mom and I never sat on a formal table to have dinner, we usually sat in front of the television or on the island in the kitchen. However, here they actually ate dinner together even though it looked like not everyone wanted to be here.

Connor looked like he was one moment from punching his dad while Charles looked bored out of his mind.  Charlene was the only one who looked happy to be here, John couldn't stop looking at Connor and smiling. He was like me, he must feel so good for making him angry, something I would also enjoy. "Yes, I do," I replied to Victoria's question. She nodded her head and dug in some more into her chicken. I tried not to like her, but how can you hate someone who makes chicken this perfect?

"We should totally play sometimes," Charlene quickly added, I nodded my head. That seemed fine, "maybe Charles could join us," I looked over at Charles who was just playing with his food while looking down, he was obviously on his phone. Charlene kicked him under the table. He looked at her with a death glare.

"Charles you know phones aren't allowed on the dinner table," John said to him. He looked at his father and rolled his eyes. He got up from the table, "sit down," he quickly said. Everyone's eyes were now on him to see what he would do. His father's face looked serious and I was afraid he was going to hit him. It seemed like the right thing to do, he ignored his father and started to walk towards the exit, "Charles," he said. He turned and looked at him, I put my fork down now afraid of what would really happen.

He walked out, I gasped. I could not believe he would do that. I would do it too, but I thought his kids would be different. John got up and exited the kitchen, "I will be right back," Victoria said exiting the kitchen also.

"I'm sorry about Charles," Charlene said, "we only found out about you a few months ago and he has not taken it in so well." I nodded my head understanding, I would be angry also if I just found out my dad had another kid.

"So he doesn't like me?" I asked her.

"I don't know," she answered, "he's just angry at mom and dad, mostly dad. He thinks they should have told us about you. And he might also be mad at dad for cheating," she said.

"Understandable," I said looking around.

"Everyone is angry at dad, you're very lucky for not growing up with him," Connor finally spoke for the first time that night. "He's just well, dad," he said laughing. He might be right, but I would love to have an opinion about my father also.

"Don't listen to him," Charlene said. "You'll love him," she added.

"Of course you think that, all he does is buy you stuff and take you out for ice cream. He hates Charles and I, he literally makes a big deal out of everything," she said.

"Because he doesn't want to see you guys end up in prison, stupid especially Charles. He looks black and he has quite the temper," this conversation was becoming too serious. "Sorry that your father is involved in your life!" Charlene yelled at him.

"Charlene, do not yell at your brother," John said coming to take back his seat.

"She shoots and she scores," John said as I made the goal. Charlene frowned since she was the goal keeper. John and I laughed. It had been fun here with them, we went out and we played soccer. It was mostly always John, Charlene, and I since the boys did not want to. "Bianca, you should totally accept that offer, you're smiling," he commented.

"Smiling?" I asked him.

"You smile when you play, it means it makes you happy. You enjoy the game, maybe going pro would be good," he said. I looked at him and nodded my head. I did enjoy playing the game, in fact, soccer was always the one thing I enjoyed.

"I agree," Charlene said, "just imagine you playing with a bunch of talented young women like yourself and traveling the world while doing so," she added. Suddenly the ball was thrown to us from the middle of the field where we were. All of us turned and saw Charles standing by the net his hands inside his pockets.

"Do I still have that invitation?" He asked his dad. His father nodded his head. "Okay, let me see what you losers got," he told us taking his hands out of his pocket.

"In your dreams," Charlene quickly said grabbing the ball.

"Did you really know?" I asked CJ as he opened his door, he was in his sweatpants and a tank top. He raised his eyebrow seeming loss as to what I was referring to. I had been avoiding his calls for these exact reasons. I knew he would be able to lie to me over the phone, but at least in front of my face, I would be able to tell if he was lying.

"Know what?"He questioned me.

"About Connor and I," I answered crossing my hands over my chest waiting for his answer. He nodded my head, "wow," I said shaking my head. "And why wouldn't you tell me this, you know how I felt about not knowing my family. Did you know John also?" I asked him, he nodded his head again. "So, all the time I was complaining about it, you knew?" I asked. "I can't believe you, CJ," I said one moment away from breaking into tears.

I thought he would at least care enough to let me know these things. I cannot count how many times I have complained to him about it, "I'm sorry, I-I," I shook my head again about to leave, but he pulled my hand towards him making my body smack against his, "I should have told you and I am sorry," he said. "And John should have told you not me, it was not of my business," he said. I tried to pull away but his grip on me was too strong.

He fixed his eyes on mine, oddly they were making me forget that I was actually mad at him for not telling me about Connor. I stopped pulling away and he finally let go of my hand, "done acting crazy now?" He asked me. I shook my head no, I was about to say something but he smacked his lips unto mine. He pulled me inside and closed the door behind us pushing my body gently on the door. I was enjoying his lips on mine, but I was also thinking about how his mom could see us.

It was not a good image for your boyfriend's mother to see, I pulled away. CJ raised his eyebrow, "isn't your mom here?" I asked him.

"No," He answered me, he kissed my lips again but I pulled away once again.

"Where is she?" I questioned him. His mom was always home, there were not many places she could go.

"She had to stay at the hospital," he told me. I nodded my head. I was about to ask him if everything was okay but he did not give me a chance to do so. He did not seem in the mood to talk about it now. I wrapped my hands around his neck as he kissed me. He then removed his lips from my lips and started placing kisses on my neck. He sucked on my sweet spot, I couldn't help but let out a moan. He put his hands under my shirt and squeezed my small breast breaking more pleasure into my body. He then stopped and looked at me pressing our nose against each other.

I missed his lips on my neck, but this was a big deal for him. We never actually talked about sex between us, I had no problem with it, I was no virgin, but I could not say the same for him. I felt like I was taking his innocence away if I suggested we do anything sexual. I shook the thought out, I was obviously overthinking this. "What are you thinking about?" He asked.

"Mhmm?" I asked. I did not mean for that to come out, but that's what did. "Nothing," I quickly answered him when I realized his question.

"Doesn't look like it," he said.

"That's it," I told him. He chuckled and pulled away from me completely. I missed his warm body against mine.

"You just got here, I'm sure your mom is worried about you by now and I have some homework to get done for school tomorrow, you should go," he said.

"I'm fine," I told him. "You had all week to do the homework. my mom has been seeing me my whole life. I think she is tired of me now," I told him.

"True," he said, "maybe I just want you to leave," he said bluntly.

"So you're already tired of me and I have only been here for five minutes," I said. "People do call me annoying, maybe I am," I said putting my hands behind my body and moving up and down.

"Perhaps," he said looking at me. His eyes traveled down my body and back to my eyes.

"What?" I asked him.

"Um... nothing," he says. I smiled and opened the door to walk out, "wait," he called me. I thought he was about to say something to help us both so I stopped with a smile. I won, I told myself. "Tell your mom I say hi," he told me. I could hear him chuckle, he really thought this was a game. "Is there something else you want me to say?" He asked when he heard my sigh of dissapointment.

"No sir," I said in a joking manner, "I will see you at school tomorrow," I added. I was about to leave, but he pulled me towards him. He closed the door, "what?" I asked him.

"I do have something else to say," he said, "I want you..."
