CHAPTER TWENTY NINE: PRINCE AND PRINCESS

Noah's P.O.V

"Princess! You need to shower! Come here!"

"No daddy! I don't want to shower! I wanna go now!"

Me and Aria screamed at each other. I throw my head back and close my eyes, frustration building up as she refused for the fifth time already. It was currently ten thirty in the morning and we had to leave in a hour. Being the oldest, Xavier took the initiative and showered first. 

Since last night, when the twins fell asleep in my bed, I decided not to move them since they looked perfect sleeping there. Instead I just tucked them in. I had left my room and made it downstairs.

I walked into the living room and saw Lauren and Ben sat on the sofa, making themselves comfortable. I collapsed on the sofa and looked up to the ceiling. It was quiet which I savoured the most and then I decided to tell them about the twins wanting to come to work.

The couple suddenly became interested and started talking. I also told them about Aria wanting to dress as a princess and that I didn't know where I would get one in time. Luckily, Lauren spoke and saved me because she said she had one at home that would look beautiful on her. 

I sighed deeply and thanked her from the bottom of my heart. Benjamin then asked about Xavier and I had said what he told me. Him wanting to dress like me. When he said it at the time, it caught me off-guard. I thought he would say something else but he just knocked me off my feet. 

Upon my words, Ben squealed like a seventeen-year-old and said he had an outfit that was perfect for him. I also didn't miss the fact that he said that he bought it ages ago, in the hopes of when I have a son. He said it was one of his multiple dreams. To see my son in a business attire. 

I lightly bang my head against the bath with my eyes closed, trying to think of a way to get Aria to shower but nothing came to head. In the silence, I heard feet approaching so I opened my eyes only for my breath to be snatched. 

I had my bathroom door open, seeing Xavier walk up to me, Lauren trailing behind. He walked in carefully in his suit that fitted him perfectly. He wore a three piece, navy blue suit. A tie around his neck. I only gasped upon seeing him. 

Xavier walked in until he stood right in front of me with a look of caution. He bit his lower lip and questioned, 

"How do I look daddy?"

I blink multiple times. Not giving him a response straight away. I look behind him to Lauren who only looked at us with admiration and nodded, 

"Anyone would say he's yours Noah, you can't deny it. He's literally you but in a miniature version. God truly has wonders,"

I look back at Xavier and reach out to him. My hand moves to his hair, pushing it back so that his forehead was showing. I then got on my knees and kissed his forehead before I stated proudly, 

"You look utterly handsome bud! I can't believe you're my son!"

I say as I tickle his sides. He giggles placing a hand on top of mine. His eyes widen a little and asks, 

"Is Ari ready yet?"

Upon hearing her name, my mood deflates, 

"Noo, she's refusing to shower. Maybe I should grab her and put her in the shower, whatcha say about that?"

His eyes gleam with mischief before he nods furiously. I move to stand, leaving my bathroom. Lauren shakes her head and comments, 

"I'll get the water running,"

Both Xavier and I leave my room, heading for Aria's knowing that she was in there. I peak my head, seeing her sat in front of the mounted TV. She turns upon feeling my presence and stands to her feet. I tried speaking with her, 

"Princess, you need to shower and put your dress on. Daddy needs to go work soon. Look Xavy's ready, it's only you left,"

She pouts upon seeing him. She then looks up to me and shakes her head, refusing to shower. I sigh, placing a hand on my hip, 

"You leave me no choice princess,"

"Daddy's going to pick you up!"

Xavier screamed. I turn my head to the side and voice out, 

"Bud, you wasn't meant to tell her!"

He quickly covered his mouth before he whispered a sorry. From the corner of my eye, I see Aria make a beeline for the door but I was quick, picking her up. She only ended up screaming out loud. She thrashed around in my hold but she wasn't getting away, 

"Bud, I want you go eat something if you're hungry okay? Ben's downstairs. Me and Lauren are gonna wash your sister up okay?"

"What if I'm not hungry?"

"Then you can go play for a bit. We won't be long. Once Ari and daddy are ready we'll leave,"

He nods, leaving the room. I too leave the room with Aria still thrashing around. I effortlessly walk into my mine, seeing Lauren still in the bathroom. Once she hears Aria's scream she looks our way, 

""I'm telling mummy daddy!"

She tried threatening me and if I'm being completely honestly, she nearly got me. Without taking off her clothes, I place her into the bath that was filled with water and bubbles. Once she was fully in she sat down in silence that scared me a little but then she smiled, making me relax.

I crouch down and mess up her hair. She scoops up some of the bubbles and blows it my way, making some of it touch my face and neck. She laughed happily before she placed the remaining bubbles on her head. I look to the side to Lauren who stood silently. I asked her, 

"Would you mind bathing her? I still need to get ready and get my papers ready?"

She smiles sweetly before walking towards us both, 

"I was going to ask you leave anyways. Us girls need our privacy when it comes to bathing, right Ari?"

Ari giggled, nodding once. She then splashed the water and I took that as my cue to leave.

Forty-five minutes later, I'm sat on the living couch with Xavier next to me. Since he wore a navy blue suit, I went with wearing a black suit. Once Xavier saw me he only smiled wide, giving me two thumbs up. I wink at him before handing him my phone to play with since he asked, 

"Daddy you have a call,"

Xavier spoke, showing me the phone. I take it from him and answer without looking at the caller ID, 

"Noah speaking,"

"Hey mate,"

I roll my eyes. It was Luke calling. I held the bridge of my nose and spoke,

"What do you need Luke?"

"You've been AWOL on me for the last two days, what have you been up too?"

"Nothing that concerns you, now tell me what you need,"

"Oh nothing, I just wanted to annoy you,"

I sucked in a deep breath before speaking through gritted teeth, 

"Well you're doing an absolutely f-"

I held myself back, looking to the side seeing Xavier look up innocently. I pat his head before standing up, heading to the window where I finished off my sentence as quietly as I could, 

"... you're going a fucking good job at it,"

"Why did you hesitate?"

"What?"

"You hesitated. Why?"

"Do I need to give you a response to everything you say?"

"Er yes,"

"Well tough luck. The only response you'll be getting is a stapler thrown at you,"

"You and your stapler fetish,"

"Luke,"

I spoke dangerously low, 

"Don't test me,"

Without letting him have the last say I end the call. I turn around only to see Aria step inside the room making my heart swell upon seeing her. She looked absolutely stunning in her sky blue dress. She wore a flower crown on her head that made her look so angelic. So... perfect. 

[THEIR OUTFITS BELOW. MINUS THE FLOWERS]

"Woah,"

Xavier spoke as he stood up from the sofa. I walked up to her and crouched down directly in front of her. I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and spoke in a spellbound whisper, 

"My princess,"

She blushed, looking down at her white pumps. I kissed her cheek before I turned to Xavier, 

"Look at you both. My prince and princess. I'm so glad that you're mine and not someone elses,"

I pulled out my phone and took a few pictures with them, wanting to keep this moment forever. We were then interrupted by someone knocking on the door. We all turn our heads, seeing Mark stood there with a smile on his face. Aria screamed in a high pitched voice and ran over to him, 

"Mak! You came!"

Mark bent down a little and held Aria in his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck and questioned cutely, 

"Do I look like a princess Mak?"

He hummed, pulling himself away from her to have a look. He then looked at her and winked making her cover her face. I only scoffed at the sight of them both. I then point at Mark and speak sternly, 

"Look after my princess. If you make her cry, I'll be coming for you,"

I then looked at Aria and spoke, 

"Princess his name is Mark,"

She only pouted and covered his ears with her small hands, making me raise an eyebrow, 

"Don't be like that to Mark, I like him,"

Upon hearing her I only scoff before I firmly state, 

"You can't like anyone until you're thirty princess,"

"I can!"

"You can't!"

I speak in the same tone of voice. Aria ends up in a strut, folding her arms over her chest and hid her face in the crook of Marks neck. I let out a breath of air, looking down at Xavier who stood next to me, 

"At least I have Xavy,"

I move to hold his hand in mine. Before the either of us could say something else Mark speaks out, 

"Noah, we don't have long until the meeting. We should get going now,"

I give him a look and nod, 

"Ah the meeting, well let's go then. You can start to strap in Ari and Xavier, I'll be out shortly in a second,"

I was about to let go of Xavier's hand but he holds on tightly making me look down,

"I wanna stay with you daddy,"

I only smile and look back to Mark, 

"Strap her in, I'll be out in less than a minute,"

He nods, walking out the room. Still holding Xavier's hand, I guide him into my still messy office and walk to the desk, grabbing the contract for damn&glam that was sent by Daisy. Once I had the paper I asked Xavier a question, 

"Hey bud, you want daddy to carry you or you wanna walk to the car?"

He thought for a second, 

"Carry,"

Without wasting another a second, I scoop him until he's in my arms. He wraps his arms around my neck securely, the both of us leaving the house. Once we step outside, I walk to the car, the door already open. I strap Xavier in and close the door, jogging to the passenger seat of the car. 

Once I sat inside, I buckle myself in and nod to Mark who brought the car to life. He slowly drives out of the opening and onto the road. I look through the rear-view mirror, seeing Xavier look at Aria before they both spoke out in unison, 

"Let's go to daddy's work!"
