Taehyung was distracted today. He was reading the same paper for three times but still doesn't know what it's about. The reason? A certain black haired man sitting infront of him.

Normally it's Hoseok that keeps him company during his morning official works but today Taehyung got a suprise when Jungkook came instead. When asked about the whereabouts of the captain, Jungkook told him that Hoseok is having a meeting with the commander of the kings guard, Min Yoongi and that Jungkook was sent in his place.

Taehyung proceeded to sit in his seat and work, assuming Jungkook would sit in the chair that normally occupied by Hoseok but no, Jungkook chose to stand.

"You can sit." Taehyung said without looking at the man.

"It's all right, your highness." Jungkook said in a professional voice, making Taehyung bit back a huff.

"So you're gonna stand all morning?" Taehyung Leaned back in to his chair and finally looked at the man.

Jungkook didn't say anything but gave a curt nod. Even he wasn't sure why he was being so stubborn about this. But being in the same room as the prince, alone, gave him an uneasy feeling. Standing up will make him keep a grip on his situation. he's a guard here, nothing more.

"Sit down, Jungkook. I don't particularly fancy making you stand there all morning. I've already done that." Taehyung said with a smirk.

Jungkook raised his eyebrows involuntary at that but still refused to sit. He knows he's supposed to obey each and every command given by the prince but somehow, this didn't felt like a command. It felt more like a taunt.

Taehyung got up from his seat and walked towards Jungkook and stopped near him.

"Don't move and don't speak either." Taehyung said in his intimidating quite voice and Jungkook immediately stiffened.

"So, you don't want to sit. Why? Does standing here reminds you of the last time, does it?" Taehyung asked in that same quite voice, walking around Jungkook to stand behind him.

"Do you like it when I punish you, is that it, Kook?" Taehyung whispered in to Jungkook's ear, fully aware that the guard will not answer him, since he commanded him not to speak.

Jungkook felt a shiver run through his body at the closeness of the prince and the way the prince said his name . He immediately regretted his stubbornness. Less the interaction with the prince is better.

Taehyung gave a little chuckle at the guard's mortified expression. He loves making Jungkook flustered and even angry. Taehyung wondered for the 100th time how would this situation be if they were not a prince and a guard.

Taehyung stepped back and walked towards his seat. He sat there and reassumed his work before speaking up in his normal voice again.

"Sit down, unless you really want me to punish you."

Jungkook sat in the chair without any delay and they both avoided eye contact with each other for the rest of the morning. Jungkook couldn't figure out why the prince did that, there's no way he meant it in a sexual way right? Jungkook was sure the prince was just bugging him.

Taehyung himself doesn't know why he behaved like that but something about the stubbornness of the young guard makes him want to break him. To have him fully surrender to his will and command.

Taehyung knows that Jungkook has to obey his command as the crown prince's guard but that's not what Taehyung wants. No, he wants to do it as a man, not a prince. He wants to make Jungkook submit to him, the man, Kim Taehyung, in every possible way.

He was not aware when his feelings changed and why. Maybe it was the stubbornness of the guard or maybe it was his judging eyes. Or maybe, just maybe, it's how hot the younger looks. He knows Jungkook doesn't like him in anyway and the challenge of changing his mind, excited Taehyung greatly.

Taehyung shock his head and tried to get rid of such thoughts. It won't do well to have such fantasies about his guard, for him and for Jungkook both.

The morning went quietly but not that productively as Taehyung was distracted. By the lunch time, Taehyung couldn't take the tension anymore so he decided to go see his brother. If they stayed for in that room longer, Taehyung was worried he might do something that he'll regret.

Jungkook was also relieved to get out of the room as it was suffocating for him too. He followed the prince as they make their way to the kings office chambers. Namjoon was in a discussion with few of the ministers when a guard announced about Taehyung.

Namjoon was anyway done with the meeting so he excused the ministers and let his brother inside.

"Tae, is everything ok? Why are you here?" Namjoon asked in an concerned voice.

"Everything's fine hyung. Can't I come and see you if I wanted to?" Taehyung said with a pout and Jungkook struggled to hide his suprise. The crown prince being cute was not a concept he could comprehend.

"Ofcause you can Tae, anytime you want." King assured gently and then turned his attention to Jungkook.

"How are you Jungkook?"

"I'm good your majesty." Jungkook answered with a genuine smile.

Taehyung looked at the smile and felt a little jealous in his heart. Jungkook has never smiled at him like that.

"You can stay outside." Taehyung said in a unnecessarily rude tone and Jungkook gave a stiff nod at that and left the room.

"What's wrong Tae?" Namjoon asked in a concerned voice as he knows that his brother is not the type to be rude to people without a reason.

Taehyung have a shrug to his brother but didn't answer. He plopped on to the sofa and closed his eyes.

Namjoon sighed as he looked at his brother. Namjoon knows that Taehyung hates here but he was hoping he would get over his dislike soon.

When Taehyung came out, Hoseok was back instead of Jungkook and the prince let out a relieved breath. Atleast he will be able to do some work in the evening.

He didn't see Jungkook for the rest of the day. Maybe he'll get his chance tomorrow.
