The Memories of Yesterday

The feeling of heart break was new to you, you woke up the next day with bugs under your eyes, bloodshot eyes because of crying all night, you didn't want to go to school, you really don't want to but you have no choice but to go to.

"My Lady?"

There was a knock on your door,

As you spoke, you let out a raspy

"Come in"

The feeling of heart and head aching was too much to take all at once.

"You look sick My Lady, you could take a day off at school if you want to, I'm sure your parents won't mind"

You ask, snuggling closer to your pillow hoping it will ease your well being breaking into pieces

"Of course My Lady. I would be by your side till you get better"

You cut her off

"You should go to school, I prefer being alone right now. Starting right now if you don't mind"

You smile at her.

Mariella gave you a worried look, but gives what you wished and proceed to went out the door to talk to your parents about your current condition and to get ready at school, she might felt bad about leaving you all alone in pain right now but you have your wishes and she wouldn't dare disrespect it.

With a sigh, you once again laid on your fluffy black bed. For you didn't gave a good rest the night before, you quickly found yourself drifting into slumber.

"I didn't expect you to come back"

You said truthfully as you once again found the Demon Lord in your forest

"I could say I'm hurt by your doubt Goddess"

He stated, waking past you making you follow him like a lost puppy

"I apologize then I was just surprised you really do come back just like you promised"

You smile sheepishly at him

"I kept my promise Goddess, just you know I never break my promises"

You smile at his words and finally found yourself in the middle of your field

It seems fantastic as ever, it was a large open field, so large you could build an entire kingdom on it

"You know I always wonder Goddess"

Yet he dismissed your words like it's nothing as he continue

"How could a powerful Goddess like you live alone in such a huge place?"

You look around the meadow

"I used to live here with the other Gods and Goddess"

"But now that they're gone I was left to take care of this place all alone"

You smile sheepishly at him

A genuine smile that makes his heart beat faster yet aching

"I know, but I don't blame you. I know you have your reasons"

You smile at him, not a single bit of hatred reflecting on your (eye color) iris

Before you knew it, you're in his arms

You shake your head

You clung into his clothes tears purring down your cheeks as he hush you

You said

"People have there reasons, no matter they do, I could never hate them for a simple doing"

You stated pulling yourself away from him before butterflies started flocking around you, a red one resting on the crown of your head like always

"And if you are to kill me right now"

His eyes widen at your words

"I won't stop you"

You said to him, pulling out the dagger on his coat, placing it on his hand before pointing it towards your chest as he silently watch you

You smile at him one last time

before closing your eyes, waiting for the pain to come
