There's a knock on the bedroom door and I open it to see Jai standing there in his suit. He smiles at me. "Are you ready to go?"

"Give me one second. I need to put my heels on." I walk over to my suitcase and pull out a pair of black heels. I put them on and walk back to the door.

Jai takes my hand and we walk to the limo. Aleysa and Nate are inside the car nicely dressed. I hug my siblings. "You two look adorable." I pull my phone out of my bag and take pictures of them. I give the phone to Jai. "Can you take picture of us?"

He takes a few pictures of us. "I love those photos." I take my phone from him and show the pictures to them.

"Can you send the picture to me." Aleysa says.

I send the photo to her and then I move over to Jai.

Jai wraps his arms around me and I lie my head on his shoulder. He holds my hand. He leans down and kisses my lips.

I wrap my arms behind his neck and deepen the kiss.

"Can you wait until you get home to do this? I'm going to be sick." Nate says.

I pull away from Jai and look at Nate. "Next time I see you do that I'm going to embarrass you in front of your girl."

He laughs. "I don't have to worry about that. I don't intend to get a girlfriend any time soon. Football and going to University to play ball are the things that I'm going to concentrate on. Maybe, if I get recruited than I might consider having a girlfriend."

I lean forward. "You can hide from the idea of love, but when it shows up I hope you take it with both hands, because there might not be another girl like her.

Jai leans forward. "She's right." He pulls me into his lap and kisses me again.

Nate groans.

This time Jai and I ignore him.

When the limo comes to stop in front of the restaurant Nate quickly climbs out and he walks towards the door.

Well he couldn't get away from us quick enough.

Jai steps out of the limo first. He sticks his hand for me and I take it. He holds my hand as we walk towards the door.

Carter is there with his daughter. He smiles. "Hey, Cuz."

I look at him and then at Jai. "What's he doing here?"

"I invited him." He looks at me. "I hope that's alright."

A smile spreads across my face. "That's more than alright. Thank you for inviting my favourite cousin here." I step away from him. "Is there a special occasion?"

He shakes his head. "No, I thought..." he cuts himself off. "I just wanted to show you how much I love you."

I know how much he loves me. He shows me all the time. I am one of the luckiest woman in the world to have a man like him.

Jai opens the door to the restaurant for me. He touches the pocket of his jacket and he cusses. He looks at Aleysa. "We need to talk." They walk away from us.

Aleysa touches his arm and she whispers something to him and he laughs.

I tell the waitress the name of our reservation and she looks in the book that's on the table in front of her. "Got you," she crosses the name out. "I will show you to the table."

As we begin to walk to the table Jai and Aleysa walk through the door and the woman shows us to our table. Veronica sits next to Ricky. I sit between Aleysa and Jai. While Nate sits next to Aleysa and Carter.

Carter looks at the waitress. "Can I get a high chair for my daughter?"

She smiles at him. "Sure, I will be back in a minute." She walks away from the table.

Jai whispers. "I love you,"

I smile at him. "I love you too. Are you going to tell me what you and Aleysa were doing outside?"

Jai shakes his head. "That's between Aleysa and I." he looks at everyone. "Our dinner will be out shortly. I decided to order for everyone as we'd have a problem with a certain girl and the French Food."

Aleysa looks at him. "It's not my fault that you wanted to sit across from me last night and eat a snail. I found out something interesting about the snail you ate last night?"

Oh, boy. I don't think I want to know.

"They shit themselves while they are cooking. I hope you enjoyed eating your shitty..." she cuts herself off as the waitress returns with the high chair. She places the chair next to Carter.

Carter places her in the high chair. "Thanks,"

"You're welcome," she says. "Can I take your drink order?"

We place our drink orders with her. She writes it down before she walks over to the bar. She talks to the guy that makes the drinks and he looks at our table.

I look away from them. "I need to go to the bathroom."

Aleysa rises. "Me too." She follows me to the bathroom.

I push the door open and lean against the wall. I cross my arms and look at my sister. "What are you and Jai up to?"

Aleysa laughs. "Do you think I will tell if you act like this?" she shakes her head. "I'm not going to tell you what's going on." She takes a step toward me. "Tonight is going to be a night you remember for the rest of your life, sis." She zips her lips, puts a padlock on it and throws away the key.

Well, that's all she's going to reveal to me tonight. Looks like I need to wait and see what the rest of the night brings.

I walk out of the bathroom with my sister in tow. When we get to the table the food is there. We take our seat.

Jai raises his glass. "I would like to say a few things." He looks at Aleysa. "I would like to say Happy Birthday to Aleysa. If it wasn't for you, your sister would have kept the secret of you being sick from me. With a little push from you, it made her drop her walls and I was able to help you. I would never change anything that has happened. I love you, Aleysa."

"Happy Birthday, Aleysa." We say and clink our glasses.

After dinner the waitress clears the table and she returns a couple minutes later with a cake and candles on it. The cake is placed on the table and we begin to sing.
"Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
over the top of us I hear Nate sing 'You live in a zoo'
Happy Birthday dear Aleysa,
- you look like a monkey
Happy Birthday to you.
– and smell like one too."

I shake my head and Aleysa pretends to be a monkey and she has everyone at the table laughing.

She blows out the candles.

The cake is cut by the waitress and she puts a slice on everyone's plate.

After dinner we walk down the street to the Eiffel Tower. Jai and I are holding hands as we walk down the street.

I look at him and he looks nervous for some reason.

Why? Is he nervous?

He starts fiddling with his tie and sweat begins to bead on his forehead. His hand begins to get sweaty in mine and I pull my hand out of his.

When we're standing in front of the Eiffel Tower he goes down on one knee and he pulls something out of his pocket. He looks at me. "I hate making speeches, so, I'm going to make this one small and sweet to the most beautiful woman in the world." He opens the box showing me a diamond engagement ring. He takes a deep breath. "I'm glad that you walked into Lusive that day. If you hadn't I wouldn't be here on my knee asking you 'To marry me.' He looks at Aleysa and she has a smile on her face. "Your sister wanted us to have a night that we could remember for the rest of our lives. I'm glad she's here to celebrate with us. Will you marry me Chloe Knight?"

I run to him and throw my arms around him. "Yes, I will marry you." he slips the ring onto my finger. "So, this is what the two of you have been keeping a secret?"

They nod.
