It starts to get a bit cold at 7:30pm, while we're on the boat. I walk inside the cabin and put on my jumper.

Leila follows me in and she also puts a jumper on. She smiles. "You're brother is so cute.  I thought he would have been older than eighteen."

Nate turns eighteen the day after tomorrow.

I don't have anything for his birthday. I will have to go to the store tomorrow and buy him something. I don't want him to think; because of everything that's happened that I forgot his birthday, even though I kind of did. I feel like I'm the worst sister ever.

Leila places a hand on my shoulder. "Whatever you're thinking can't be that bad. Do you want to talk about it?"

"Sure," I sit on the lounge that's closest to me and Leila sits next to me. "I forgot that my brothers birthday is coming up and I didn't get him anything."

She looks out the door where all the guys are standing. "He won't think that. He knows you have a lot on your plate right now. I wouldn't be surprised if he's forgotten all about it himself."

"I don't want to take the chance that he forgets his birthday."

Leila whispers. "Have you taken the pregnancy test yet?"

"No," I look at my hand. "I'm going to take it tomorrow." I turn towards her. "Were you pregnant when you took the test?"

Leila looks Ace and her face falls. A tear falls down her face. "The test was negative. A couple days later I got my period." She takes a deep breath. "I wanted to be pregnant."

Ace walks through the door at that moment and he moves right over to Leila and he wipes the tears off her face. He kisses her and says. "You will get pregnant when the time is right, princess." He kisses the top of her head. "I'm looking forward to the day you come home and tell me that your pregnant with our child. Until then let's enjoy ourselves. Once kids are involved our lives will go down the toilet."

She hits him. "Ace,"

Jai walks into the room and he looks between Leila, Ace and I. "What did I miss."

I point at Ace. "He just said once kids are involved that your life goes down the toilet." I touch my stomach. "My life is going to become better with this child." I wrap my arms Jai and I kiss him.

Nate enters the room and he looks at us. "The sunset is out there not in here. Also, are we going to eat soon I'm starving."

I hit the back of Nate's head. "Where are your manners?"

He looks at the wharf.  "I left it back on land." His stomach rumbles. "Sis, you know a football player like me needs heaps of food."

Yeah, I do. Soon I won't have to worry about buying enough food to feed an army. It will be Jai and I.

Jai holds me. He whispers. "What are you thinking about?"

"I was thinking about how quiet our house will be for the next couple of months, with Nate going off to school." He lifts me up and carries me to the bedroom. When he puts me down I whisper. "I'm kind of scared."

He puts his arms on the wall beside me, blocking me in. "You know I won't do anything to hurt you."

I pull him towards me. "I know." I kiss him slowly at first and then the kiss turns heated.

There's a knock on the door. "You can't hide in there all night." Leila says.

Jai opens the door and we step out. He looks at her. "You could have given us ten minutes."

Leila laughs. "I can't do that." She looks at me. "You should carry some crackers with with you. It will help if you need something to eat while you're in the middle of nowhere and there's no rest stops for you."

"Thank you,"

Leila, Jai and I walk up the stairs to the decking. The table is set and the food is brought out once we're all seated. The lids on the silver trays are lifted and I see a fish on my plate. It has garlic, pepper, lemon and parsley on it. Next to the fish is a salad and chips.

I hope they washed the salad before they brought it out.

*Flashback*

I was in my third year of college when my roommate told me she was pregnant. She sat at the table going through the paper work her doctor gave me and she said. "There's so many things that I shouldn't eat, but I crave them. What am I going to do," I took the paper from the desk and I read it.

Things that should be avoided while pregnant

Raw meats
Deli meat
Fish with mercury (seafood)
Raw eggs
Soft cheeses
Unpasteurised milk
Pate
Caffeine
Alcohol
Unwashed vegetables

Most of the things on the list I didn't eat anyway. So, I wasn't worried for when the time came for me to be pregnant.

She looked at me. "How am I going to live without eating Sushi. Whenever I'm stressed I eat that stuff."

I walked over to her and placed my hand on her arm. "You will get through it, with my help of course."

A smile spread across her fave. "Thank you."

It was harder to help her than I thought.

*Flashback over*

Jai looks at me. "Are you going to eat, Chloe?"

The only thing I can eat from this plate are chips and I don't want to eat them. I turn towards Ace. "Thank you for the lovely meal, but I won't be able to eat it." I push the plate away.

Jai leans over the table and he whispers. "Why can't you eat it?"

"There's a list of foods that I should avoid eating when pregnant. As we both know there's a chance I'm pregnant and I'm not willing to eat something that could harm our child." I turn towards Leila. "Do you have some crackers?"

"Yes," she rises. "I will get them for you."

Ace puts his knife and fork down. He looks at me apologetically. "I didn't know there was certain foods that you couldn't eat while you're pregnant. If I had known that I would have requested a different meal."

"Don't worry about it, Ace." I look at everyone's half finished plates. "You're all enjoying the meal. That's all anyone can ask for."

Leila returns with the crackers and she puts it in front of me. "Thank you, Leila." She smiles. "You're welcome."

I pull out a few crackers and shove them into my mouth. After dinner we leave the table and walk to the front of the boat to watch the sunset behind the Golden Gate Bridge.

Jai wraps his arm around me. He whispers. "Do you need to sit?"

I turn in his arm. "I'm good, Jai. If I need a seat I will let you know. We keep watching the sunset. I don't want to miss a moment of it." The sky has purple, pink, blue and orange in it as the sun sets.

It's beautiful.

With the sun gone it starts to get a colder and Im shivering. Jai takes his jacket off and puts it over my shoulder. I rest my head on his shoulder.
