At 1:30 pm, I kiss Aleysa's head. "I will see you later. Jai's going to take care of you while I'm at work. What do you want for dinner?"

She looks at me. "Chinese?"

"Okay," I take the keys off the counter and walk out the front door. I climb into the car. I reverse out of the garage. I see Jai run out the door. I stop the car and wind down the window. "What's wrong?"

He leans against the window and looks at me. "I wanted to give you a 'goodbye' kiss, but you left before I could do that."

Pulling his shirt towards me, I claim his lips with mine and wrap my arms around him. He deepens the kiss. I pull away from him. "I will see you after work."

Jai pulls something out from behind his back and it's the purple bandana. He gives it to me. "You left this on the kitchen counter."

Putting it on my head, I say. "Thanks." I pull the car away from Jai and head to Lusive.

Ethan is standing next to the door. He looks over at the car. "Chloe?"

Stepping out of the car, I walk over to him. "Hey, Ethan. Who's working this afternoon?"

He looks at the door. "My brother and a new bartender. You won't have many people there this afternoon. They mostly come in after work at around five or six."

"That's good. I don't mind working during slow shifts."

Ethan looks closely at me. "There's something different about you, Chloe. I just can't put my finger on it."

Taking off the bandana. "I shaved my head. I wanted to show my sister that she doesn't need to go through this alone. Jai and Nate shaved there's as well."

Ethan starts laughing. "I can't imagine, Jai with a shaved head. Tonight's shift is going to be interesting."

Putting the bandana back on, I say. "What time do you finish?"

He looks at his watch. "I have a double shift today. The guy that was supposed to replace me called in sick and there are no other security guards to take over the shift."

"I'll call Jai and see if he can send someone over while you go on a break." I start to walk into the bar.

Ethan grabs my arm. "You don't need to call him. My brother will be at the door." He points to his watch. "If there's a problem inside push the red button that's below the cash register and he will be right in."

"Thanks, Ethan." I shake his arm off me. "Who is the new bartender?"

He shrugs. "I don't know. Ask my brother if you want any gossip on her. He spent all night talking about the hottie that works the day shift here."

"If he stares at her all day I'm going to pour a bottle of water all over him. I don't care who sees me do that."

He laughs. "Push the red button, before you do it. I want to see it," Ethan opens the door and I step through it.

I walk over to the bar and a girl looks up.

She has dirty blonde hair that's piled on top of her head in a bun, with two chopsticks in it. Her make-up is heavily applied and the amount of perfume on her makes my nose itch. She's wearing a tight skirt and shirt. She leans over the bar and her boobs look like they're going to fall out.

I hope this day doesn't suck.

Walking over to Ethan's brother I see he's staring at her. I slap the back of his head and say. "Take your eyes off the girl and work."

He rubs his head. "Ouch,"

"If you continue to do that, I will do something worse and I will make sure your brother is there to see it." I step behind the bar and the girl looks at me.

She walks over to me. "Who are you?"

Putting my bag under the bar I turn towards her. "I am Chloe, the bar manager and who are you?"

She smiles and extends her hand. "I'm Leila Simpson. It's great to finally work with a female." She points at Ethan's brother. "I have been working with men since I started here and I was wondering if this place was sexist.

Shaking my head, I say. "It's not sexist. I used to work the night shifts and then something came up and I wasn't able to work those shifts."

She whispers. "What do you think of Jai? He's one sexy god."

I know and he's all mine.

Pouring some beer in a glass I watch as Curtis walks over to the bar.

Curtis sits at the other end of the bar and I slide his glass down to him. He stops it with his hand. "I see you've been practising that while you were gone?"

Shaking my head, I say. "I watched Coyote Ugly and got a few tips off that. Looks like it worked."

He smiles. "It did. I will have the second beer in a couple of minutes."

Leila looks at me. "Can I try that?"

Giving her a plastic cup. "Practise with this. It's not as easy as you think."

She takes the plastic cup from me and she slides the cup across the bar and it lands on the floor.

Looking at her. "When you can slide the cup across the bar without it falling down I will add water to it. If the waterfalls on the ground you will clean it up." I pour some jack and coke into a glass and give it to the guy sitting in front of me.

"Thanks," he picks up the glass and drinks it.

Feeling sweat trickle down my face I pull the bandana off and wipe my face with it.

Leila drops the cup she was holding. Her mouth opens and closes.

Turning away from her I move over to the group of guys that walked through the door. I smile. "Hey, guys. What can I get you?"

The first guy smiles. "I'll have a jack and coke. The guys will have the same beautiful." He winks at me.

Pouring the drinks I place it in front of them.

Leila walks over to them and says. "Hi, boys. I'm Leila."

The guy that ordered the drinks looks at her. "Don't talk to me. What you want you won't get from my men or me," he points to the guys at the other end of the bar. "I'm sure they will help you with whatever it is you want."

Her mouth opens and closes a few times and she glares at me. "How can you be nice to a woman that looks like that and turn me down?"

He rises. "First of all, she is dating a friend of mine."

Does he know Jai? I wonder why Jai hasn't invited him over to the house. I will have to ask him that tonight when I see him.

He puts up his second finger. "Second of all. I have met many women like you and you're all the same. You work for a Billionaire and you use his workplace to sell yourself to guys like us. Well, I'm not going to fall for it."

Pouring his group another drink I leave it in front of them as I move on to another group in the middle of the bar.
