Jordan

It happened so fast that I didn't even know it happen.

My mind was everywhere.

I couldn't even process it.

I dropped to the ground covering myself and holding my stomach where it hit me.

I was the one who shot.

I look up and see Landon pale. He looks at me with wide eyes then staring at his hand that held the gun. His whole body is shaking. He opens and closes his mouth, blinking a couple of times, trying to process that he pulled the trigger.

Landon shot me.

He missed Sañtiago.

I looked at my stomach and see blood seeking  through my jumper and I look over to Jaxon and see him punching his uncle and punching Sañtiago in his jaw. He would look at me but then end up getting punch. Maria is fighting off Alfonso which has a gun and trying to aim it at Jaxon.

I gasp when I feel pain shot through me.

"L-Landon."

He looks terrified. His eyes tear and he's breathing hard.

"Lan-ndon."

"I-I-"

"Shhh, it's okay." I say trying to comfort him.

The tears fall down his face and he slowly starts to let go of the gun.

"No, Landon. Go help Jaxon. I'm okay. Im okay. He needs you. I'm okay. Go." I say in a soft voice trying to mask the pain in my voice. He looks over to Jaxon then back at me.

I give him a shy smile,"go. I'm okay."

He opens and closes his mouth but that's when the next bullet comes. Alfonso misses Jaxon but hit Alberto's arm. He yells in pain while Jaxon punches him.

Landon looks at me one last time and then takes off to Jaxon.

I breathe in and out. I lay down staring at this wood ceiling. Watching dust fly around. Their yelling are muffles to me.

I pick up my hands see them soaked with blood.

I chuckle.

I place them back on my stomach and I can't really feel them on it. I search around for the hole and find it. It's pretty deep. I bring in my eyebrows together and push my finger in the hole.

I bite my lip from making any noise and feel the warm bullet. I bite my lip harder and push two fingers in. I pick up my head and see blood gushing out and I taste blood so I know I bit through my lip but I can't seem to feel pain. I can't even feel the pain my fingers are causing.

My finger tips wrap around the bullet and I start to pull.

I can feel pressure but I can't feel pain.

What the heck man.

Why can't I feel pain?

I look at my finger tugging on that fûckin thing and blood continues to make a puddle on the wood surrounding me.

I yank and tug and that's when I hear mushy sounds from the wound. I yank one last time and there comes the nice shiny red bullet.

I smile at myself and let out a breath. I lay back down and watch some flashes of the gun firing off. I can't hear anything though. I look to my left and see them down.

About time.

About fûckin time.

Landon smashes his foot on Sañtiago face on the ground and I see his face turns to pain. He holds up his hand towards Landon begging for mercy but he just smirks and shoots him dead.

Two bullets in the head.

He laughs and kicks at his dead body and looks over to Alberto's dead one too. He kicks hard to his dead corpse and laughs again and jumps on it. He jumps on his chest and I can see his ribs caving in. He laughs while he jumps on it. He jumps towards Sañtiagos and does the same thing.

I smile and turn to my side so I can watch. I look over his shoulder and see Jaxon straddling Alfonso hips on the ground and punching him. Maria is screaming at Jaxon probably telling him to stop.

He yells in his face while punching him. Tears falls down his cheeks while Alfonso smiles. His smile never leaves when he continues to punch him.

He's punching all his nightmares away.

Punching his demons away.

His punches start to slow down and he's crying. His shoulders shake and he yells in face. He continues to smile at him and laughs.

Jaxon weakly punches his chest and falls on his chest and cries on his bloody chest. He punches the ground crying on his chest.

Alfonso laughs while weakly spitting out blood.

I look down and I'm in my own pool of blood. I splash my hands on the blood and it covers my whole hand.

Woah, that's cool.

I chuckle and continue to splash the blood around. My hand weakly goes up and goes limp falling down.

My eyes start to hood over and feel my smile falling. I look back to them and see Landon staring at me. He yells while sprinting towards me.

And that when my day turns to night.

Jaxon

I feel the bullet pass me by a inch away, and see him holding the gun. He yells and tries to aim at me again but that's when I feel a punch on my jaw. My head snaps to the right and that's when I have to fight my uncle.

I feel Sañtiago come up but I hit him when he tries to hit me. I continue to fight them off and I heard another bullet go off but I didn't care unless it hit me. When I didn't fell pain that's when I knew someone missed me.

I kept fighting and that when a I hear a gun go off and see him falling down. I stared at him while he looks shocked. His hands go to his chest but that's when another bullet goes off and his head snaps back and that's when his skull busted opens.

He's dead.

I blink and that's when I'm caught off guard and get hit in my jaw. I turn around and see his fist winding up and ready for my flesh. I'm about to do the same but that's when I see Landon's fist beats ours.

"GO!" He yells while punching him in the jaw. "GO TO HER!" I didn't know who he was talking about but I look to my right and see my ma holding down Alfonso's arm and trying to stop the bullets from ending my life. He pushes at her but she puts up a fight.

I run towards him and tackle him down. He didn't see me because he was to busy fighting off my ma.

I land the first punch and he drops his gun. I straddle his waist and punch his jaw, eyes, nose, everything on his face.

My eyes blurred and I yelled,"WHY!!!!!" Tears screamed down my face and he laughs. He fûckin laughs.

I punch his face again and feel his nose crack under my fist and he smiles through the pain. I yell and scream.

My fist starts to slow down and tears fall on his face. I yell once again and I collapse on his chest.

I weakly punch the ground and cry on his chest. "Why." I cried out.

His chest vibrates up and down with his coughing and laughter. I get up,"WHY!!!" I punch him again but that's when Landon screams.

I look towards him and I felt my heart and lungs get ripped out of my body.

It's my own nightmare I would never escape ever again.

Landon picks her up and looks at me. Im stuck frozen and that's when I see his eyes grow wide and that's when I hear the sound of the gun.
