Samantha's P.O.V

As I called for a cab and boarded it giving the driver the address, I turned my head as I looked out the window. Flashes of skyscrappers blurred as the cab passed. I couldn't help myself but get lost in the beauty of the city every time I went to work.

I stared outside the window like a tourist sightseeing every time I was out.

My thoughts were interrupted when the cab came to a stop and I noticed that I had reached the coffee shop where I worked. With a polite smile, I paid the driver and got out the cab. I checked my watch and noticed I was ten minutes late as my shift started at 7 am.

"Damn you Liz!" I repeated in my head as I walked in and headed back to drop my things in my cubic and grabbed my apron. I was fastening it around my waist when I saw my boss Ed.

"Your late." was all he said in a cold tone as he walked back towards his office before I could even give him an explanation.

"What a great way to start my day." I muttered under my breath.

I turned on my heel and straightened my pants as I positioned my apron. As expected, our uniform was a pair of black pants and a white shirt with the Early Rise Coffee Shop emblem on the left side of the chest area of the shirt.

I walked towards the front and stationed myself, taking over from Ashley my co-worker who had to cover for me as a cashier. Just as I popped my head up to attend to the next customer I gasped when I saw this image in front of me. This guy had grey stormy eyes. As I took in the rest of his face I saw a well defined chiseled jaw clearly freshly shaved. He had a thick bottom lip that just staring at him made my stomach flutter. His lips were so pink it was unnatural. He had wavy blonde bronze hair that was slightly long but still short that it barely riched his neck.

Lucky for me, he was not paying much attention to me as he was busy yelling at someone on the phone. As I continued taking in his appearance, I noticed his height was about 6'2 feet. He was wearing a dark blue suit that made him look like a freaking sex god.

After my eyes had their fill I cleared my throat to get his attention. He stared at me with a blank face for about two seconds and then placed his phone in his pocket.

"Good morning, and what can I get you?" I asked him.

"Freshly brewed coffee with no sugar, no cream or milk just plain and hurry up I don't have all day." he ordered.

I glared at him thinking someone had woken up at the wrong side of the bed. I quickly regretted actually thinking he was attractive but seriously who was I kidding?

He really was. Too bad he had a horrible personality.

After telling Ashley the order, she handed me the cup. I placed it on the counter and told him the price of the coffee. He placed a twenty dollar bill on the table and walked away with his coffee in his hand as he took a sip and walked out.

After mentally face palming myself, I moved on to the next customer repeating the same line nonchalantly

"Good morning, and what can I get you?"

I repeated that line so many times that if I woke up in the middle of night, that's the first thing I would say.

Alex's P.O.V

As I walked into a small coffee shop not bothering to check to see the name of the shop I cursed as I saw a customer line. This only meant I would have to stay here longer than anticipated.

I fished my phone out my pocket and started replying emails I had received over the night. Unfortunately for me, because I own my on construction company, this meant I also had to try get some work done also on a Saturday. As I advanced in line my phone rang and I snapped

"What?"

"I'm truly sorry Mr. Waters that I am late today. It's just that I'm not used to working on Saturdays and you caught me off guard this morning when.." she explained.

Before she could finish, I interjected.

"Listen hear, I don't pay you to make excuses. I pay you to be my assistant and I expect nothing but that from you." I answered coldly.

"I gave you a simply task to get me my coffee and be at my office by 7 am but..." before I could finish my sentence, I was interrupted by someone clearing their throat in front of me.

When I turned around I saw what I had never seen before. A pure face that looked innocent and fragile. She had hazel brown eyes. Thick silk looking her that reached her waist I assumed because she had a hair tied up in a ponytail.

He lips had a perfect shape of cupid's bow and were full with a deep red colour around it. Just by looking at them I felt my downstairs harden.

"Shit."

I instantly got mad ar myself for acting like a horny lunatic and for giving in so easily to a woman so easily without any effort.

"Good morning, and what can I get you?" she said with a voice so soft I could tell she wasn't flirting with me because her voice sounded natural.

"Freshly brewed coffee, with no sugar, no cream or milk just plain and hurry up I don't have all day." I ordered.

I immediately hated myself with my tone of voice because I saw a hint of annoyance in her eyes. While she turned to speak to her co-worker. I took this as a chance to look at her beauty even more. The black pants she wore wear tight around her ass and hips which were curved perfectly. Her chest was full and I could tell from how strained her buttons on her shirt wear that she had well shaped beautiful breasts.

When she turned, placing the coffee on the counter and saying the price, I took out a twenty and dropped on the counter, took my cup of coffee and left with the hope to see her again.

Once I entered my S.U.V, I took my phone out and called my PA.

"You are fired." I said and immediately hung up the phone.e

As Dave drove me to work, this coffee shop girl's face popped in my head and I knew I had to get her to sleep with me for a night.
