"I was going to tell you-" Anna tried to explain when Colton bent down and reached for the kits.

"I'm pregnant," Anna blurted out and watched him warily, chewing her bottom lips and shifting her weight from one foot to the other.

He halted and turned his gaze back towards Anna. Anna felt her heart pounding almost painfully in her chest as she waited for Colton's reaction. He was just standing there, his eyes bored into hers. She could not read his emotions, whether they were happy or angry or disappointed.

Nothing.

Colton felt his heartbeat increased drastically and he felt a sudden flare of joy. Images of Anna being 9 months pregnant fast forwarded to him holding their baby and them celebrating their toddler's first birthday together, little Anna or little him running around in the house replayed in his mind in that few seconds.

"Please say something," Anna begged with trembling voice. At this moment, she was terrified, her eyes brimmed with tears.

He's not saying anything.

Does he not want the baby?

What if he leaves?

Colton shook himself from the daze. "I'm sorry baby," Colton lifted her up and sat her on bathroom sink, her legs on either side of him.

"I was so lost in my own thoughts. I'm so sorry baby," Colton said and caressed her cheeks gently, wiping her tears.

"I'm sorry I made you cry again. I'm just so happy!" Colton chuckled. "We're finally having a family!" It was almost too much happiness to bear. He had always wanted to have his own family. With Anna. He had imagined his future with Anna in so many different ways.

"Really?" Anna sobbed like a kid.

"Of course baby! You have no idea how happy you make me. I'm a father now!" He couldn't think of a time he'd ever been happier.

"You scared me Colton," Anna sighed as she hit his broad chest gently.

"I'm sorry baby. I love you so much,"

She leaned against his chest for a moment, comforted by his embrace.

"Let's go shopping for baby clothes!" Colton suddenly announced proudly, like a father would.

"What? That's too fast!" She propped her chin on his chest and looked up at him with a gasp. "And we don't even know the gender yet!"

"I don't care! I'm buying everything! My baby deserves the best." He held her up by her waist as if she weighed nothing, and she wrapped her legs around his waist.

Colton's hands tightened around her waist. "Whoops! I need to be careful with you baby. There's two of you now!" She giggled wildly while rested her head on his chest.

"I'm so happy for you Anna," Aunt Mary gripped Anna's hands tightly and smiled.

"Thank you Aunt Mary,"

"Have you told your father about this?"

Anna nodded, "Yes, and I told him about Colton's grandpa too. That he lost his job because of that,"

Colton and Anna had decided to visit her father a few days ago and confessed to everything. Anna was astonished when Colton knelt down and apologised for everything that his grandpa had done to her father and her. But Chandler knew Colton better than anyone else did. He knew Colton loves his daughter very much and for that, he forgave him. Besides, he knew it was never his fault.

Colton had also excused Anna from the conversation later on, telling her that he had something he needed to discuss with her father in private. Anna pouted but gave in anyway, leaving the both of them in the living room while she went out to get some food with Colton's driver.

"I would like to ask for your permission to marry Anna," Colton said nervously. He then added, "I promise to protect her with my life, love her and cherish her. Forever."

"I know I can trust you Colton," Chandler patted his shoulder, giving him a smile of satisfaction.

Colton offered to clear Chandler's medical debt, something he knew he should have done earlier. Mr. Chandler refused his offer.

"Your grandpa..." Chandler stopped for a moment, and continued, "His secretary came to find me a few days ago."

Fernandez had asked his secretary to clear off all debts that Chandler had and his secretary apologised on behalf of Fernandez for all the mess he caused a year ago.

"You need to forgive your old man Colton. Let bygones be bygones," Chandler advised, to which Colton only nodded.

Eight months later

"Eekk! This is too cute!" Quinn squealed in excitement as she picked one of the baby clothes from the rack.

Colton had bought way too many baby clothes, blue, pink, purple, green. Whatever names you have for colour. He just bought them all, like he promised. Anna was not happy with the way he spent but she knew he was just excited, being a father.

"I already told you, we don't need anymore clothes. You know how much Colton spent on baby clothes? It's ridiculous," Anna rubbed her temple and caressed her very pregnant belly softly, cooing the little human being inside to stop kicking her mom.

Yes. They discovered the gender not long ago and it is going to be a baby girl. Colton had always wanted a girl. He said she would look just like Anna, just like when she was little. He was over the moon when the OB-GYN revealed the gender. He can't wait to meet his little Anna 2.0.

"We need to get this," Quinn said casually, squeezing the plain pastel pink babygrow into her full shopping bag. "And this," she took another one. "Oh! This too!" Again, she grabbed one of the baby beanies while making her way to checkout area.

"Quinn-" Anna called out her name firmly, as if warning her to stop taking whatever she sees.

"What? The baby needs a beanie ok! It's going to be winter when you deliver. We need to be fully prepared!"

"We have many of them at home already," Anna sighed, knowing how Colton was.

"Hey! These are going to be my first gifts for my goddaughter. I'm not losing to Colton," Quinn crossed her arms and waited for the cashier to scan all the baby clothes.

"1... 2... 3..." Anna slowly counted as the cashier took the clothes out one by one. There were 15 in total.

She wondered why no one listened to a thing she said. Colton, Aunt Mary and now, Quinn too. She was delighted to know that her little baby was already receiving so much love even before she was born. But she felt like her baby girl won't be able to wear all of her clothes cause babies grow so fast.

"Anna?" A familiar voice called out behind her.

"Olivia?" Anna gasped. The last time she heard of Olivia was from Colton, when they broke off their engagement.
