CRYSTAL'S P.O.V:

"You can wait till the report comes or if you don't want to wait you can come after an hour." The doctor told us.

"No, we'll wait outside," Kayon replied.

"Ok, we'll inform you when the report comes." The doctor told Kayon and we headed outside.

I'm worried about the report. I never felt like this before. Sometimes I feel like so and so dish should appear in front of me within a second and sometimes the smell of that same dish make me feel nauseous. It's a strange kind of illness.

"Come let's have ice cream," Kayon told me and started dragging me towards the ice cream parlour that was located just opposite to the hospital. So now he wants to eat ice cream. I nearly pleaded him for one while coming but he ignored me and now when I forgot about it he is asking me to have one.

"Buy one for yourself, I don't want any," I told him and tried to snatch my hands from his grip.

"What the... I mean what's the matter with you. While coming here you were hell-bent on eating ice cream but now when I'm willing to buy one you're telling me you don't want it?" He asked in a slightly irritated tone.

"Because at that time I was hungry for ice cream and now I'm full," I replied angrily.

"This is the first time I heard someone being hungry for a specific food item. But whatever it is you'll have to come with me dear or else I'll pick you up and carry you in my arms till that ice cream parlour. The reason I didn't buy you one while coming here is simple, I was worried about your health. But now the doctor told its nothing severe so you can have one." He told me and I knew if I disagree he'll surely carry me in his arms and I don't want to be the centre of attention of so many people. So I quietly followed him.

I sat at the table and he went around to place our orders. He brought strawberry flavoured for me and chocolate flavoured for himself. When I put a spoon full in my mouth I felt like vomiting. I quickly went towards the washroom and rinsed my mouth to remove the taste of strawberry. This is my favourite flavour, why I disliked it suddenly I don't know? On the other hand, now my heart is desiring for Kayon's ice cream.

Sitting on my chair I asked him, "Kayon please can we exchange our ice creams?"

"I'm all yours Grey and that's why everything that's mine is yours." Saying so he exchanged our ice creams.

He watched me all the time while I ate heartily and he was eating slowly having expressions that told he disliked strawberry flavour. The only word he slowly mutters under his breath is 'Strange'.

After some time we went to the hospital and again sat at the waiting section. We were informed when my reports came. Then we both went inside the doctor's cabin.

"Congratulations Mrs Pride, you are pregnant." The doctor told.

I... Am... Pregnant... Oh my God! It's too early. How will I manage everything? How will I take care of the baby? Many such questions came in my mind but left as soon as I felt his hands gently squeezing mine.

"Come in the next month for the ultrasound." The doctor told us.

After a few more enquiries we left. We sat in our car and headed towards our home. During the whole ride, Kayon didn't even utter a single word. Is he regarding this baby as bad news? Maybe he doesn't want to become a father right now. My baby...

How special it feels to say it. With this, all the insecurities in my mind got vanished. No matter what, even if he doesn't want still I'll bring this child in this world. I'll take care of him/her.

After reaching home as soon as I came out of the car, Kayon picked me up and headed towards our room. After reaching our room he kissed my forehead and began to spin round and round.

"Stop it Kayon, my head is spinning," I shouted.

"Sorry dear, are you ok now?" He asked placing me on the bed.

"Yep, I'm fine now," I replied.

"Today is the happiest day of my life. I'm going to be a father, I'm going to be a father, I'm going to be a father." He sang all the while placing soft kisses on my stomach.

"Thank God! As you didn't utter a single word with me after hearing the news till our ride to home, so I thought you don't want this baby," I told him.

"That's my Grey always assuming wrong things about me. Why will I dislike my baby? I kept quiet because I was hiding my feelings all the while or else if I would have expressed my happiness then and there it would have been the top news of tomorrow.
'The leading business tycoon Kayon Pride lost his mind yesterday at the hospital.' I'm sure you wouldn't have liked it." With this, we both started laughing.

He suddenly started kissing me. I too kissed him back but he stopped suddenly and placed his lips on my stomach and whispered slowly, "my baby."

I tried to get up but Kayon stopped me by placing both of his hands on my shoulders and said, "rest my love and do nothing else from now on."

"What? You want me to lay on the bed and do nothing else for nine whole months. Are you mad?" I got irritated by his possessive behaviour.

"Yes love I mean exactly that and no I'm not mad, like a really mad person but I'm madly in love with you and I want my baby and his mom to remain healthy." He replied.

"Kayon, His mom. For God's sake, we don't know the gender how can you be sure it's a boy?" I asked.

"I'm sure dear, you'll see after nine months." He replied confidently as if God has already shown him our future.

"Ok Kayon I assure you I won't do any such work which will cause any sort of harm to our child or me but I just can't lay in this bed for nine months." I nearly pleaded to him for a second time today. Sometimes too much love also irritates.

Seeing my puppy dog face he finally gave in, "ok if you say so."

KAYON'S P.O.V:

Today my happiness is boundless. Now I'm eager to share this news with dad and Ed. I'm sure both of them will be beyond happy. Grey and I ate our lunch in our room. She fell asleep after that and I received a call from dad so I had to leave for the office as our deal with the MN company has to be finalised today. Everything went smoothly and the deal was finalised. Ed is also our business partner in this deal. After the meeting, I told Ed, dad and Grey's dad to wait in the conference room and shared this good news with them.

"I'm going to be a grandfather." Dad and uncle shouted at the same time while Ed said, "I'll soon become uncle Ed who...ho."

"It's ok man, I think the whole office might have heard you," I told Ed.

"If it was up to me I would have given everyone a day off. I'm so happpppyyyy." Ed replied and I shook my head on his childish behaviour.

"Markos take this, these are the keys and the documents of your new home," Dad told uncle forwarding a folder and keys towards him.

"Sorry sir, I mean Daniel but I can't accept it from you," Uncle replied.

"Then accept it from your son," I told him and after insisting he finally accepted and thanked me and dad. Dad and I had agreed for this many days ago but we knew he wouldn't accept easily and today maybe dad thought it's a good idea to do it. Grey is the only child of Uncle Markos and being Grey's husband I regard myself as uncle Markos son and so I decided to give him home so that he won't have to pay monthly rent and when I told this to dad he too agreed. I didn't want uncle to work after his surgery but he rejected my offer of giving him his salary while he did nothing. So this is the least I can do for him.

"Finally my dream will come true. I'm so happy today. If your mom would have been here she too would have been very happy." Dad said wiping a tear that rolled out of his eyes and continued, "always remember son women's get emotional very often in this condition. Crystal can get angry without any reason and she may cry all the time but you should remain calm. She may demand any food item at any time and ask you to stay by her side all the time, she may annoy you but remember she is the one who's suffering from morning sickness, stomach pain, later on with heaviness and many other things. I know we too suffer seeing them in pain but believe me, son, the day you'll hold your child for the first time in your arms that very moment you'll forget all these sufferings. I still remember the day when I held you for the first time, you were looking so cute. My little world got completed that day and same will be your feeling son." Saying so dad patted me on my back while I saw his watery eyes. Then he and uncle Markos left.

Dad still didn't get over mom. How can he, when he truly loved her? Now I understand his feelings clearly. I hope somewhere in the heaven mom is also happy hearing this news. I wiped the tears that came out of my eyes. I still miss mom, I always will...

"I think your baby will be a cry baby, who'll cry all the time." Ed suddenly commented. So he's finally back to his mad sense.

"Why will that happen," I asked out of curiosity even though I know his reply will be something silly.

"Hearing the news of his existence everyone is crying so I thought that after coming in this world he'll cry a lot," Ed replied trying to change our mood by acting to be carefree but I didn't miss his watery eyes.

"You won't ever change Ed," I told him and gave him a hug and a chance to silently and secretly wipe his eyes. He and his silly comments won't change but still, he's always successful in changing my mood. He makes me forget the topic because of which I felt worried or tense. My foul mood turns to a pleasant one because of him. After all, he's my best friend and a brother not by blood but by heart.

So here's an update for all of my lovely readers. Today instead of women I made all the men emotional.😂
It's not bad to becoming emotional or to express them but women do it all the time while the men hide them.😔
So today instead of hiding their emotions my characters expressed them freely. And it's not weakness that makes men cry but the true and deep feelings of one's heart that make a person cry.
