Ian's Pov

Tell Rose! all that kept on replaying in my mind were those words. I didn't focus at all for the rest of the day and knowing that Nick had called Maya to his office since lunch and she still didn't come back is driving me insane. 

I like Maya that's final and I am falling for her. I need to fix our situation. As soon as I left my office I drove to Rose's house. I know that she will never believe my honest intentions and she might even convince Maya to stay away from me but I will deal with that later on. 

For now I have a solo mission and that is telling Rose and showing Maya that I want to be with her.

As I rang the door, I started getting nervous. But what has to be done needs to be done. When the door swung open, I came face to face with a crying Rose. I might no love her in an intimate way anymore but my heart throbbed painfully at such a sight. Why is a beautiful sweet pregnant lady crying this hard.

"Ian" she sniffed saying and without a warning threw herself in my hands 

"What's wrong?" I questioned her as I struggled to get her inside 

"Jack! He hates me now." she yelled/ cried into my chest 

"Why is that?" I questioned her knowing for sure that that man cannot hurt her at all 

"I told him that you and I nearly kissed and he flipped." she explained and I couldn't blame the guy...

"I will talk to him, I promise." I tried to sooth Rose 

"He will never trust you. He thinks that I am still in love with you! what am I going to do?" she cried as her head rested on my chest and I hugged her closer

"Show him that you love him." I replied and after that allowed her to silently cry on my chest 

"You are the best Ian. thanks for helping through this..." Rose said as she straightened a bit and looked me directly in the eyes.

We were too close again. We were breathing the same air and her hopeless crying eyes made me sad a bit. I wanted to hug her and be there for her but just as a friend no more...But she clearly had a different idea. She slowly started to reach for my lips and my breaths hitched at this. Is she going to kiss me? Am I going to feel the same way? shouldn't she be kissing her husband?  What will Maya do if she finds out? Smooth lips came into contact with the side of my lips and I closed my eyes enjoying even for the slightest moment the familiarity of such lips and intimacy. 

"See" that all we heard and that made us jump away from each other and looking at the source of the sound I found Jack and Maya standing side by side with the same pained look on their faces.

"Jack..." Rose called in a pleading way

"Don't I will just take some of my stuff and head out..." he replied but  couldn't careless about him or Rose now.

"I convinced him to come back saying that I saw what happened that day and that it was nothing..." Maya said in a small voice then a tear fell down her cheek and she rapidly wiped it with the back of her hand, turned around away from my apologetic eyes and ran away.

Maya's Pov

Now I know why he wanted to keep a hidden secret. Now I am sure of why he told me not tell Rose. I couldn't stop the tears from falling on my cheeks heavily. I couldn't stand there and watch them so I did what I do best I ran to my car.

"May...Maya...Maya" Ian yelled as he ran behind me, got a hold of my elbow and turned me around

"Let go." I yelled back and saw a mixture of emotions in his eyes

"You got it all wrong!" He declared and I couldn't but sarcastically laugh at him

"Yeah, It is always me. I always get everything wrongly." I said mockingly 

"I didn't start that!" he spoke more calmly

"Sure you didn't...and do you know what I am glad because we didn't start a thing or else I would have been more broken." I informed him and tried to pull my elbow away from his hand but he wouldn't let go

" I came here to tell her about us..." Ian said as he tried to pull me closer to him 

"But you found a better offer here, right? I mean she has always been your first love and one and only while I am just a means to get her..." I cried harder and felt my heart breaking at such truths

"May...I didn't do a thing." Ian promised again but I just couldn't believe him

"You will always be a player...and I guess that I am finally up to let my mum find a descent guy." I informed him and saw his orbs hardening and darkening in color 

" No other guy will have you." Ian promised and threatened 

"You do not own me or control me. Now let go of my hand or I will call Jack and he will certainly punch you." I threatened back

"I would love to see him try." Ian carelessly mocked my threat then pulled me closer to him and even when I tried to take a step away from him his hands were faster than me and in minutes they hugged my waist and brought me closer than needed to him. We were again face to face, breathing the same air.

"I didn't feel this way when she came to me. It is only you." Ian hushed and in seconds his lips found their way to mine and as much as I tried to push him far away from me his hands just tightened around my waist and held me in place. I tried my best not to kiss him back but that stupid pull, my anger and my confused emotions got the best of me and I just started to kiss him back in a harsh punishing way. 

"I love you." Ian hushed as we separated from the kiss 

"I don't trust you." I said and find a way out of his hands then continued to ran to my car.

I need to ask you guys for a favor. I started this new book " Insane" ,after a sleepless night and tones of werewolf rejection romance books. It is called "Insane". I would love for you guys to check it out and comment your opinions there. This may be much to ask but I cannot get rid of this idea and I wanted to know your guys impressions about it so please check it out and tell me if i should continue it too.
