Still in Julie's pov.

I am literally so embarrassed right now.

Ninja rolls...

Seriously!!

Now Ashton...

One of the most POPULAR boys in the school...

Probably thinks I'm a nerd...

ON DRUGS.

My mom and dad kept asking questions about my first day over dinner, but I couldn't concentrate on what they were saying.

All I could think about was my friendly neighborhood Ashton who can see right inside my bedroom window.

And who has seen me make a complete fool of myself.

You know what?

Curse who ever built these houses.

And curse who ever made Ashton look like a freakin god.

What if I saw him tomorrow?

What if he saw ME tomorrow?

I came to this school to blend in, not cause any attention.

It did me pretty well at my last school.

I mean, I always considered myself pretty average actually. I never had some popular girl want to ruin my life before.... so that's a plus.

...

What can I say?

It always happens in movies.

"So are you teachers nice, or -..." my dad begins to ask but before he could finish, I interrupt him, picking up my plate.

"I'm actually not that hungry, thank you for dinner though." I say, standing up.

I felt bad because usually it's pretty easy for me to talk to my parents, but after...

Recent events...

I have a sudden urge to sit in my dark closet, alone, and rethink my life decisions.

"Plus I have to write something for English, so I should probably go to my room to get it done before I get too tired to do it later." I lie.

"Okay honey, just don't stress yourself out, you haven't even finished your first week of school yet, so don't let it get to you." My dad says.

I give him a small smile and nod my head before putting my dish away and going back to my bedroom.

Well, at least I wasn't completely lying.

I did actually have English homework, I'm just not worried about getting too tired to do it later.

And that probably has something to do with my nonexistent sleep schedule of going to bed a three am every night because of Netflix...

But they don't need to know that.

"Write a 4 paragraph essay why it is important to have wisdom."

Oh right, this...

Where do I even begin?

I mean wisdom?

Everyone has to have that.

Even little four year olds who are just starting their own journeys.

Here let me help you, yes, it is important to wash your hands after you use the bathroom.

Then even the, I'm gonna say, the older guy at the retirement home who sits in the corner and asks anyone to play chess with him.

You're old, you can now pick up all the ladies you'd like, it won't effect your future negatively in a bad way.

So for the assignment, I just described that it didn't matter the age, everyone needs wisdom.

And now, I watch Netflix for the next six hours of my life...

~~~~
Loud Blaring noise
No.. it's like 6 in the morning, can someone just turn the fire alarm off already.
Wait a second...
The fire alarm!!
I jump out of bed and run down the stairs to see my dad waving a towel across the smoke detector.
"Burnt...the eggs" he says and smiles sheepishly.
Sometimes I think I got more of my dad's genes than my moms.
Even though that doesn't make sense, I can see a resemblance don't you think?
I go back upstairs and start to get ready for school.
I don't understand the people who shower before bed, then shower again in the morning...
Im sorry but did you run a marathon in your sleep or something?
Think about the planet and what saving water can do!
...
Okay so maybe I take long, hot showers but that is irrelevant to the topic of discussion...
Which is that I am a nice environmental person who loves nature...
Not including bugs...
the smell of grass...
Rain...
Sometimes sunlight-... okay actually I might not be that much of an environmental person.
I grab my tooth brush from underneath my sink and start brushing my teeth before putting my hair up to get it out of my face.
Then, I look through my closet and find a summery blue romper, since it was still the beginning of autumn.
But why put on a shirt and shorts separately when you can do it all in one!!
I swear if I start to see a commercial like that I'm giving up. The pillow pets were enough.
It's a pillow.
It's a pet.
It's a pillow pet!
"Julie!!! The bus will be here in.... 4 minutes!!!" My mom shouts coming into my room.
"Okay" I say and head downstairs and grab my lunch, which my dad packed...
Don't judge me...
And I quickly head out to the bus stop.
The kid once again comes and gives a good 6 feet space between us.
Well, isn't he... sweet?
I'm about to just put in my earplugs when I see...
No...
Please no...
Ashton running out of his house and making his way right between me and the kid.
Maybe he won't remember me, okay Julie, just don't make eye contact.
"Hey"
He isn't talking to you, you don't have friends...
Remember?
"Hello?"
Must... contain... greeting.
"Heyyyyy" Ashton says again waving his hand in front of my face.
English.... ENGLISH!
"H-hi" I say and look over at him.
Zoo-Wii- Mama Quote from Diary of a Wimpy kid
Let me tell you, he definitely rocked the whole plain t-shirt and jeans look.
STOP YOU'RE BASICALLY EYE RAPING HIM!!
QUICK MAKE CONVERSATION!!
Ahhhhhhhh!!!
"So, um, why are your riding the bus? I thought you had a car?"
I already knew the answer to this.
"Got grounded from it."
But it's way better to hear it in person.
"Awwwe did the badboy get grounded?"
Dang talk about a boost of confidence.
...
Dang talk about how I'm going to die alone in a hole.
I swear I saw his cheeks turn the lightest shade of pink.
"N-No!!"
"YOU'RE BLUSHING!!"
"No I'm not!!"
"Yes you are!!"
"No!!"
"Admit it!!"
"I'm not gonna admit it!!"
"Yes!!"
"No!!"
"Yes!!"
"Bus!!"
"Ye- what" I look over to see the bus coming up the road near our stop.
"You got out lucky" I squint my eyes at him.
"Just like when you got called for dinner." He says back in a 'matter of fact' tone.
I suddenly remember last night and I can feel my cheeks redden.
"Don't bring that up."
"Why not?"
"Bye!" I say and quickly board the bus. He slowly followers behind.
I take my seat in the front while he makes his way in the back.
I can see that as he passes, all the kids look up to him. Whether that be the little freshman's on the bus or even the Seniors in his very own grade.
Ugh popular people.
But what can I say, everyone loves the bad boy.
Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!! Sorry haven't posted in this book in a while.
But I am once again back on it again!!
Just to let you guys know if writing is in bold during the text, it's MY personal, dramatic, sassy comment that I put in there.
