Julie's pov:

After that, well awkward, conversation I had with Ashton, we follow Zander into a larger room than the one before.

But this one was a lot different.

This room was a gigantic stadium.

"Woah" I mumble under my breath.

The first thing I noticed was the number of seats. This took up most of the room, and it looks like it could hold hundreds of people.

When you looked up, there was different color lighting that kept flashing colors. It gave the room like an exciting feeling.

And in the direct center there was a boxing match... cage thing. It looks so professional though, like the kind you would see on tv.

There were many people who were surrounding it talking to one another.

Looking around, there was also other boxers here, some I remember seeing in the hallways at school.

They must be on the school boxing team too.

There were mats set out in one corner of the room where some were practicing. Most of the people here were watching and yelling out random things.

Like my dad when he watches football.

Except my dad... is screaming at a tv that has no feelings.

And is not living...

...

Anyways.

Once I look around for a little bit more, I realize I am the only girl here.

Some looked over and gave me a questionable look, while others just ignored me.

If I could ignore me I really would.

Jake, Luke, and Damien soon spotted us and walked over.

"What took you guys so long?!" Luke asks smirking at Ashton.

Ashton just ignores him and keeps walking forward. We all just follow behind him as he heads to the middle of the room.

"This is so cool" I whisper to Damien as he ends up walking right next to me.

"I know right, I was like that when Ashton first brought me here." He says and nods his head at Ashton.

I follow my eyes to the back of Ashton's head. Damien seems like such a sweet kid, and the fact that Ashton pretty much took him under his wing is actually really nice.

Again, I don't know why people think Ashton is cold-hearted.

Sure, he has a 'reputation' of doing... not the nicest things from being his trouble maker self.

But it doesn't mean he's heartless.

People need to stop basing their lives off Netflix...

Unless it's F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

I have high expectations.

"Damien how long have you been fighting?" I ask. I mean, he is only a sophomore, so I can guess that he hasn't done boxing as long as some of the other boys.

"Only a year." He says and shrugs.

Jake, who is walking in front of us, turns around. "Yeah, only a year and he still is able to kick some serious ass."

At this, Damien looks up and smiles. I end up smiling too.

We walk up to an older looking guy who is talking to one of the boys boxing.

"Who's he?"

"The Coach and owner of this place." Damien answers my question.

After he finished talking to the kid, he turns around and sees us.

"Well if it isn't my favorite people on the whole damn planet." He smirks.

Since I am standing in the back, he doesn't seem to notice me at first.

I just stand there awkwardly as he greets the guys.

"And who is this?" He questions as he finally notices a newer face.

I mean of course he was wondering, you don't see a walking potato just anywhere you know.

Before I can say anything, Zander beats me to it. "This is Julie!" He says and wraps his arm around me with a big goofy smile on his face.

The coach nods his head and holds out his hand, "Nice to meet ya Julie."

I give a small smile and shake his hand, after we let go, he looks over at Ashton.

"So, have you figured out if you are competing in the tournament?" He asks.

"I am." Ashton says with a smirk on his face.

What is it with everyone needing to smirk?

Can't they just smile like normal human beings?

"Good cause we are going to need our team captain with us."

Honestly, hearing this I am not at all surprised. Back in the other room, it showed him having the highest number of points than anyone on the team. So of course it would be reasonable to make him the team captain.

All the boys start talking about the tournament but I just space out because one, it got boring, and two, I have no idea what they are talking about.

"Dude what the hell!!" One boy screams as he aims his fist at another boys face.

Everyone who was in the room looked over as the boy got punched in the face.

Okay I might not know a lot about boxing but I'm pretty sure you're not suppose to punch people in the face like that.

But don't look at me, I know nothing.

But it happened so fast, next thing you know, everyone, and I mean everyone, is sprinting over to the scene.

Ashton and Zander jump in and hold back one kid while Luke and Jake hold back the other. The coach goes between these two and tries to get them away from each other.

Everyone is forming a circle around them.

There is so much happening, everyone is just screaming and yelling.

I decide to stand back and Damien joins me just watching.

"Stop!!" Coach finally yells loudly having enough with everyone talking at the same time and the boys struggling to hurt each other.

They both stop struggling and finally stop. The boys let go of them but stay close just incase anything happens again.

"What is going on here?!" Coach asks....

Still yelling...

Very loudly... and eyes both of them with a stern look on his face.

The two boys don't make any eye contact with him and say nothing.

I didn't want to watch anymore so I adjusted my eyes to something else.

I just hate fighting in general.

My eyes eventually drifted off to a black bag sitting down just a couple feet from the fight. It was opened and next to it was another black bag. It looked like it belonged to the boys who were fighting.

How do I know?

Well, it was kinda easy to point out, the names on the bags matched the names that the boys were wearing on their shirts.

I am a very observant person.

Go me!

When I looked closer, there was a bottle with something in it. I squinted my eyes to see white pills in it.

In the bag next to it, it was the one opened with money in it.

I think I know why they were fighting.

I look up to see that everyone in the circle started arguing and the boys started an attempt to fight each other again.

"Damien" I whisper. He looks at me questionably and I nod my head to the bags.

He looks to where I was signaling and after a minute, his eyes go wide.

He takes my arm and we both walk over to the bags.

One of the two boys saw us and his eyes go wide. He freezes in place.

Eventually, everyone else in the circle notices and they all look at us.

I pick up the bag of pills and Damien picks up the money and we hold it out for everyone to see.

The coach's eyes also go wide and he walks over and grabs the white pills out of my hand and looks at the boys.

Everyone in the room knew what they were.

"This..." He mutters quietly at first.

"This!!!" He then says really loudly and holds it up. Everyone in the room flinches and looks down not making eye contact with him.

I don't blame them.

He is just an infuriating man.

He points to the two boys and they are escorted to what looks like an office followed by the coach.

"Well." Damien says awkwardly.

"Why do I hear a detective theme song playing in my head?" I look at Damien and he starts to laugh.

Eventually, Ashton, Zander, Jake, and Luke, who escorted the boys, eventually come out and walk up to us.

They didn't say anything until out of nowhere Zander breaks out into a large smile.

"Good job little J!!!" He says and high fives me.

I just smile back at the boys.

I make eye contact with Ashton and he gives me a small smile. But it quickly vanishes when we hear a door open.

And you won't believe who walked in.
