-Dom-

Walking home that night with her, my chest still feels constricted from the nerves.

Maybe not from asking her, but from what the next few days, weeks, maybe even years are going to look like for us.

She reaches over to interlock our fingers and I halt for a second as I look at her, who is gazing ahead of us into the night.

The corners of my lips twitch into a smile and I squeeze her icy hand tightly.

"So what now, Dom?" she says, stopping and spinning in my direction.

"What do you mean?" I take a small step towards the gorgeous girl before me.

She sighs. "I mean." dragging her words out, awkwardly, "what are we now? Do we actually date? Wow that sounds crazy."

I watch as she shakes her head in disbelief.

"Whatever you want, sweetheart, I will be happy with, as long as your still here with me." I lift her soft hand up to my lips, placing small kisses on each knuckle.

"Is it completely insane that I want to say I want to be yours?" she chuckles.

"Not any more crazy than the fact I want to be yours too." I bite back the huge grin threatening to break out on my face.

Another step closer to her.

"I've never met anyone like you, Alaina."

Another step.

"I have never met anyone as sweet, kind and god damn beautiful as you."

One. Final. Step.

We are inches apart, her eyes gazing intently up into mine as I admire each and every one of her perfect features.

My hand cups the side of her freezing, red cheeks.

I close my eyes slowly, inhaling the amazing perfume shes wearing.

"Can I kiss you?" I exhale, as quietly as I can.

Her eyebrows raise slightly and that feeling wakes in my chest once again.

"Please." she breathes out with a smile playing on her face.

Closing the gap between us, I lean down brushing our lips together gently, before applying more pressure against her soft lips and I swear I have never felt this feeling before.

Like everything around us doesn't exist.

Every problem, every person.

The entire day felt irrelevant compared to this one moment.

In her kiss, I am home.

Her hand snakes up my front, resting on my chest, her other making its way into my hair.

As I lean forward a little, her back arches and I keep her steady with one hand.

She pulls softly at my hair and our lips break apart for a split second and her gorgeous eyes beam up at me before she reconnects our lips once more.

Her legs wrap around my waist as I carry her to the nearest bench in the park we are walking in.

Since its almost 11pm, no one is around and its so quiet and peaceful.

The kiss quickly turns faster, more desperate, like we have both been waiting and the wall is finally breaking between us.

We may not know each other as well as we should, but I've never felt way, like no matter what time of the day it is, she's on my mind.

No matter how far she is, I feel pulled towards her.

I sit down, her legs straddling mine as she rocks slightly into our kiss.

My hand slides slowly up her thigh, the hem of her dress rises exposing her smooth legs.

I feel her body shiver the smallest bit as my fingers go a little higher, her breathing picking up.

The kiss begins to slow down again before she pulls back, and I'm left in a daze.

She bites her bottom lip, smiling down into her lap.

As she tries to climb off my lap, I keep a firm grip on her legs and she peers at me from the corner of her eye.

I watch her lips turn up in amusement before settling herself back on my legs.

Her eyes widen a little as she starts laughing and I tilt my head in confusion.

"What the fuck are you laughing at?"

She reaches up to my lips, swiping her thumb across the corners.

I see the small spots of lipstick on her thumb.

I watch her cute little concentration face as she removes the remaining makeup from my face.

She takes all the colour off her lips too before looking at me again.

"This should be better now."

"I think we should test it." I lean forward towards those lips again and she grins before placing her lips on mine.

That small electric feeling shoots through my body again and its the best feeling in the world.

Its crazy how attached I feel already, I'm going to be the most whipped fucker on Earth.

I grab her hand, pulling her up from the old, discoloured bench as we start walking towards the gate of the park.

Rain starts to fall, steady and soft, and Alaina looks at me and bursts into a fit of laughter.

"Oh God, we are going to be drenched, we aren't even close to my house." she groans.

Pulling her hand, I carry on walking with her and I take her to the bus stop with me.

I step onto the bus when it arrives, practically dragging her on there before leading her right to the back.

Her leg bounces rapidly so I place my warm hand gently on her lower thigh.

"Hey." her head shoots in my direction. "You're okay, Alaina."

It almost instantly stops shaking and she lets out a sigh of relief, a smile gracing her lips.

Her head rests on my shoulder as I gaze out the window.

I feel a soft touch on my jaw and I recognise the feeling immediately as those plump lips mine were on less then 20 minutes ago.

My eyes close on their own accord as she places another, then another on the same spot.

She has no idea how hot she is, and this isn't helping the situation at all.

Pulling slightly on my hair, my head falls back onto the back of the chair and she continues her small trail.

"Alaina." I warn, breathlessly.

She hums in response before pulling back like nothing happened.

This girl.

"What was that, darling?"

"What was what, Dominic?" God I love how she says my name, its barely different to how everyone else does.

But somehow, her voice makes it sound a whole lot better.

My hand raises up her leg again, venturing further then before and her breathing hitches, a small smirk crawling on my face.

"You know what, Alaina." I retort as her eyes flutter shut.

As my hand gets closer, her thighs begin to clench together so I push them apart with my fingers.

I lean in as close as possible to her ear, my breath fanning her skin.

Placing a gentle kiss behind her ear, she lets out a shaky breath.

"We're here." I whisper.

"What?"

I pull her up with her hand, her legs wobbling and fighting to keep balanced as I bring her out the bus.

"Thank you." she barely utters to the driver as we exit. "Where the fuck are we, Dominic?" her face contorts in confusion.

I don't say a word as we turn the corner and my house comes into view.

She bites her lips, wiggling in her spot in excitement as she walks fast to the door.

I knew she would love to come over, probably more likely to see Roxy, but if that makes her want to stay over, then I don't care.

And plus, I wasn't going to let her walk in the freezing fucking rain, no buses go around that area.

Unlocking the door, Alaina almost runs in, Roxy bounding towards her right away.

Alaina may be absolutely perfect, but shes not the strongest, so the dog tackles her to the floor.

Her face lights up and she rushes to her small bag she brought.

Pulling out a random dog toy, my eyebrows furrow.

Why did she bring that? How did it even fit in that bag? Does she just carry dog toys around?

"Why are you looking at me like I'm insane?" she giggles a little.

I take long strides towards her, cupping both sides of her face and connecting our lips again.

I could get used to that.

Her legs buckle ever so slightly in shock before wrapping both arms around my neck, entangling her fingers into the strands of hair.

I grin into the kiss, walking forwards so she steps back further towards the wall until her back hits it.

Roxy is too busy with her new toy to give a shit about whats going on anyway.

She pulls away, out of breathe, and I place delicate kisses down her neck until I reach the spot lets makes her let out a quiet noise.

I smirk as I bite down gently on the side of her neck, my grip on her waist tightening.

Reaching around to the back of her thighs, I lift one of her legs around my waist.

There's barely any space between us, but she moves forward lightly, causing her to grind down on me.

We both let out a muffled sound from the feeling as I continue kissing down her neck.

I pull away and look into her eyes, placing my hand on her throat.

Applying very little pressure, she pulls her bottom lip between her teeth and I bite back the groan in my throat.

I place a final kiss onto her lips before removing my hand and walking into the kitchen, leaving her flustered against the wall.

She finally follows me, the smile still on her lips as she traces where my hand was on her neck with her finger.

"So, Dom." she breaks the silence as she places herself on a stool on the other side of the counter.

I lean over, resting my arms on the counter, and nod for her to continue.

"Where are you from? I feel like we should actually get to know each other." she laughs.

"Both my parents are Italian, I know I don't have the strongest accent, its faded as I've lived here but I am from Italy. I love it there. What about you, amore?" I reach over, playing with her fingers as she talks.

"New York. Born and raised." she sighs.

Kissing her hand, I turn around to cook something.

She starts asking rapid and very random questions.

"Favourite colour?"

"Grey."

"Boringgggg." she drags out, rolling her eyes. "How many countries have you visited?"

"17"

"Siblings?"

"2 brothers and a sister."

"What do you use in your hair? There's no way your using dollar store products with how gorgeous it is."

"I don't fucking know, Alaina." I chuckle. " You can look in my bathroom if you want."

"Hmm." she eyes me suspiciously.

I hand her a plate of food and she kisses my cheek.

"So, 17 countries, huh?"

"I travel a lot for work and deals. I just end up staying a little longer to escape this place for a while." I explain as she listens intently.

"I don't think I've ever even left the state." she admits.

"I'll take you, next time I'm on a trip, you're coming with me."

"But-"

"No arguments, Alaina, I'm taking you." I state.

She pauses eating and kisses my cheek again.

"Are we making a mistake, rushing into this?" she looks down to her plate, pushing the food around with her fork.

I tilt her head towards me.

"If I'm honest, I don't know, but I do know that you, Alaina, are worth the shot. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. I won't hold it against you. I just know I'd never forgive myself if we didn't try."

Leaning forward, she places a single kiss on my lips.

She starts washing her plates, ignoring my protests.

"I told you not to do that, I can handle it." I cross my arms over my chest.

"Shut up, Dom." she throws dish soap bubbles at me before sprinting away.

She is something else.
