Chapter 15:“Lets Dance”

"Oh, you can sit in front," Ayla said.

"I don't mind. I can sit in the back," I said as I was about to open the back door.

"No one is sitting in the back because Ayla is coming with me," Cameron said as he grabbed Ayla's arm and walked her to his car.

"Well, ill check if anyone needs a car ride," I said as I texted the group chat.

I'm going with Brandon

Ayla🤍:
I'm going with Cameron

Brandon:
Ella is with me

Cameron:
Ayla is with me

They spammed my phone, clearly telling me everyone got a ride. I sat in the front seat as Alex started driving.

"So Lilly-" I cut Alex off.

"Shut up," I said as I played with my phone.

"no and give me that," he said and took my phone.

"Ass, give me my phone back" I said as I tried to grab it, but he put it on the other side making it hard for me to grab considering I have my seatbelt on.

"I'm only an ass for you, but we have to communicate here"

"No, I hate you, and you hate me," I said as I tried to grab my phone again.

"I mean, who would like you anyway? ," Alex said, rolling his eyes.

"Nathaniel," I said.

"What?" he asked me.

"What?"

"What did you just say?"

"I said a name,"

"He likes you?" Alex said as he kept looking forward, slowly increasing the speed of the car.

"I guess he keeps asking me out on a date,"

"do you want to go on a second date?"

'no'

"yes,"

"Oh well, good luck," he said with a straight face, still looking forward, not even looking at me.

"Can I have my phone back?"

"Here it is. " He threw my phone on my lap and continued increasing the speed.

The car ride was getting uncomfortable, so I connected my phone to the car to put on some music.

I put 505 on Arctic Monkeys and raised the volume.

'Ah, this is peace'

"what's the name of the song?" Alex asked.

"505 by Arctic Monkeys," I said.

"Send it to me, I'll probably forget it," and I did.

Then I put space song by beach house.

'This song is such a great song I'm obsessed with it'

"if you don't like this song, you are dead,"

"I like it, don't worry,"

"Did you watch the vampire diaries?" I asked him.

"No why?" he said.

"Nevermind I wanted to show you a song,"

"Let me hear it," he said.

I put feel so close by Calvin Harris and immediately smiled.

'My favorite song',
'I want to dance with someone to this song so bad.'

"I really liked it"

"its such a good song to dance to like Damon and Elena"

"Who?" he asked me.

"They are in the vampire diaries"

"Oh," he said as he parked next to Cameron's car.

'Oh we arrived'

I got out of his car and went to where Ayla was sitting on the ground.

"Anything happened?" Ayla said, winking at me.

"No why?" I said.

"Well, because you're smiling more than usual"

"Oh, I was listing to feel so close," I said as I smiled at Ella, who sat next to us.

"I agree with you on that," Ayla said.

"I really want to dance like Damon and Elena in that scene," Ella said

"I was about to say that. I wish I can dance to this song with someone," I said.

'I want to be Elena in that scene.'

"Well, what are you three talking about?" Brandon said as he sat down and put his arm around Ella, who removed it.

"Our dream dance now. fuck off," Ella said as she glared at Brandon. I looked at Ayla, who was looking at me and smirked at each other.

After that, Cameron and Alex came and sat next to us. We spent two hours on the beach, then we went to Brandon's house.

Considering it's the first time coming here, I'm nervous I don't like meeting new people.

Brandon opened the door with his key, and as we entered his house, we went directly to the backyard.

"Oh hey there," a tall man said as he came closer to us.

"He is Vincent Brandon's older brother," Alex introduced him.

"He is Cameron. " Alex pointed at Cameron.

"She is Ayla" Brandon pointed at Ayla.

"She is Lilly. " Alex pointed at me.

"Her name is belle, but he calls her Lilly"

"Can I call her Lilly?" Vincent looked at Alex and smirked.

"No" Alex said.

"Anyway and this is Ella"

"Oh, that's Ella," Vincent said as he looked at Brandon and smirked.

"Shut up before I kick you out," Brandon said, making Vincent laugh.

Vincent stayed with us and to be honest, I don't mind him. He is funny, and he seems carefree.

however, throughout the night Alex kept mocking me, poking me, and making fun of me.

"Ace, if you poke me one more time ill kill you," I said glaring at Alex, who smiled at me and sent a flying kiss. I acted as if I caught the kiss with my hand and crushed it.

"That hurts," Alex said, faking his sadness.

"I'm glad now fuck off," I said as rolled my eyes at him.

A few moments later, I see Ella coming with a speaker and a very excited look on her face.

"Lets dance" Ayla said.

'fuck'

They put on some good songs to dance on but i don't dance unless I'm with my close friends only and considering Vincent is here, it's a no no.

"Come on, get up," Alex said, as he grabbed my hand and forced me to get up.

'Great, now I'm even more nervous.'
'why are you nervous?'

I tried to go back to my seat, but Alex kept holding my hand and pulling me to him.

"Just one dance," He said, and I nodded.

I don't know who was in their right mind, but they chose to put feel so close right now.

'No'
'god no'

Alex smirked at me as soon as he heard the music.

"May I?" he pulled his hand.

"No," I said and turned to go back to my seat.

"No, no, get back here. " Alex again grabbed my hand and pulled me to him.

Safe to say I had my Elena moment.

We were sitting down, taking a breath from all the dancing.

"That was fun," Ella said as she drank some water.

(A/N, you really thought I'm that cruel to rob you. Let's go back to when they were dancing)

"No, no, get back here. " Alex again grabbed my hand and pulled me to him.

He put his hands on my waist while I put mine around his neck.

'Let's just forget that I hate him.'

We danced together and every time he turns me around, he grabs me by my waist and pulls me closer to him.

We danced just like Elena and Damon, and we couldn't care less that we hate each other. We were in the moment to remember our hatred for each other.

Alex kept saying some stupid jokes that actually made me laugh the entire dance.

somehow in the middle of the song, we had to switch partners, and I danced with Brandon while Alex danced with Ayla and Cameron danced with Ella.

Not long before, Alex grabbed me from Brandon and pulled me to him, making us go back to how we were in the beginning, my arms around his neck and his arms around my waist.

Soon the song ended, and I sat down, trying to ignore Alex by playing on my phone.

(THAT WAS SO BAD I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO WRITE EVEN THOUGH I LIVED THAT SCENE IN REAL LIFE),

Alex came and sat next to me and kept teasing me about our dance.

"Does he like you that much?" I heard Vincent say.

I looked up from my phone to see who like who, but I see Vincent looking at me.

"What?" I asked Vincent.

"I said, does he like you that much?" he said.

"Who?" I asked him.

"Alexander," Vincent said, making me laugh.

"We hate each other," Alex and I said at the same time.

"See" again, we said it at the same time.

"Clearly," Vincent said as he smirked.

After that we all spent the rest laughing and talking, but I was getting tired and wanted to sleep so badly.

And luckily Alex was sitting next to me, close enough for me to my head on his shoulder and sleep for a bit.

"Does he like you that much?" Vincent asked Lilly, who was busy on her phone.

'That little shit'

"What?" she asked him when she realized he was looking at her.

"I said, does he like you that much?" Vincent repeated his question.

'I'll kill him'

"Who?"

"Alexander," he said, making Lilly look at him with shock.

'Wouldn't blame her'

"we hate each other"

"see"

"Clearly. " he looked at me and smirked.

'I hate that smirk'
'it means that he will bully me for this'

After a while, I felt a head on my shoulder. I looked to see that Lilly laid her head on my shoulder, trying to sleep.

I didn't push her away. instead I let her sleep, even though Vincent was constantly smirking at me and making fun of how I danced with her and wouldn't let her sit down.

We wanted to go home after a long day but i didn't want to wake her up, so I made sure to carry her to my car and get Vincent to help me open the door of my car.

I laid her in the backseat and said goodbye to my friends. I was about to open my door, but Vincent wanted to talk to me.

"Do you really like her?" he asked me.

"no but I don't hate her anymore"

"then why do you keep saying that you hate her"

"because she hates me"

"That makes no sense," he said, making me roll my eyes.

"But look, I know you care for her"

"They all know except her," I said, referring to our friends.

"Why do think she doesn't think that"

"because I tell her that I hate her"

"You are so dumb I want to punch you,," Vincent said.

"Go drive your girl to her house"

"She's not my girl," I said as I walked to my car.

"Yet" I heard Vincent say.

'She'll never be mine'
'why not?'
'she hates me'

I entered my car and drove to my house. I knocked on Lilly's house, but no one answered it.

I tried to find Lilly's keys from her bag but I couldn't find them, so I'm left with no choice but to let her sleep in my house.

I carried Lilly from my car to my room and laid her down on my bed I didn't want to make her uncomfortable b changing her clothes.

I tried to wake her up, so she can change them herself. After a while she woke up, but not completely.

"Lilly, go change your clothes," I whispered as I helped her get up.

"Huh?" she said in a muffled voice.

"Here, go change them. " I handed her a pair of my sweatpants and shirt, as I helped her get in side the bathroom.

Not long before she got out, eyes barely open, wearing my clothes, went straight to my bed and slept.

I changed my clothes and went to sleep in my bed, next to Lilly.

'Kai will end me if Mr. king didn't end my life first'
