Wait did I hear that correctly?

"Mom and Jaye bet on when I'd realize I love you."

Did Lia just say what I think she said?

Lia realize she loves me.

"Lia you there?"

"I'm here."

"Are you okay you blacked out for a second there."

"I'm okay."

Shs doesn't sound okay. Maybe Lia regrets revealing this. Maybe she thinks I don't feel the same way. But I do. Then tell her Alezorio before it's too late.

"Lia you still there?"

"Yeah."

"I love you too. I've known for awhile how we both felt about each other. But I was waiting for you to admit it first before I tell you. I'm sorry baby if it seems I didn't reciprocate your feelings. I was scared because I wanted to be sure before I said those three words."

"Oh."

"Are you upset with me?"

"No Ali I was scared to tell you too. I only did by accident because of the bet. I get where your coming from. We've both been hurt in the past by people we thought loved us."

"Thanks for understanding. I wish you were here so I can smoother you with kisses my love."

"Me too Ali. Why don't yo pick me up after my shift ends tomorrow? Let's go to the movie theater afterwards."

"Sure if that what you want. What are you doing right now?"

"Laying in bed getting ready to sleep. I already showered and ate dinner. What about you?"

"Same."

We talked some more for a few hours until Lianna started yawning. At that point it's around one thirty so we said good night. I still can't believe we finally laid everything out on the table. Now we're completely transparent with each other. We know where we stand. I can't wait to shower her with love tomorrow.

The next day

Alezorio examines the old pictures of his next patient. These were taken 6 months ago. At the end of every appointment a nurse assistant takes pictures to document progress. This particular patient seemed to be getting worst or no improvement from the last appointment. They probably weren't using the medication as prescribed so their acne wasn't getting better.

This is one of the things he always considers. Not everyone always do what they say they're going to do. Alezorio went to the room where his patient is waiting. It's an older lady. He knocks and then enters.

"Hi Ellen. How are you doing today?"

"Good Dr. Di Stefano."

Alezorio sat to the side.

Getting straight to the point Alezorio ask her the important question.

"Have you been applying the topicals everyday?"

"No. I only use them when I remember. I'm always forgetting to use the one for in the morning."

"Ellen unless you use them as prescribed they won't be as effective. Let me see how it's looking."

Alezorio checked her face and back as well as chest area. Ellen face is the same as last time problem areas are the nose and cheeks. Her back looks dry but otherwise nothing above the norm. Same with her chest area.

"Your problem areas thankfully haven't gotten worst but there isn't any improvement either. I'm going to prescribed you the same creams again. Please make an effort to use them."

"I'll try."

"The nurse will come to take a few pictures and your medication will be sent to the pharmacy on file. See you in 6 months Ellen."

"See you in 6 months."

Alezorio exit the room after washing his hands with antibacterial soap. He had another patient in an hour then he'll head out to pick up Lianna to go to the movie theater.

"Lia what movie should we see?"

We're in the line to purchase the movie tickets. I'm standing in front Alezorio whose holding my waist with his chin on my head. He hasn't stop touching me since he picked me up.

"Umm Aladdin or Dark Phoenix. Which one?"

"You decide love I'm sure they're both good."

He could have just picked one.

"I want us to like what we watch. Aladdin is comedy and Dark Phoenix is action. Which one do you like?"

"I'm thinking Aladdin."

That's what we saw. During the movie Alezorio and I ate popcorn while sharing our beverage. We laughed a lot. All in all it was a really good movie. Alezorio took my hand as we went to his car to drive to his place. I fell asleep on the ride so he had to carry me.

I feel his body heat surround me as he carried me to the door. I snuggle into him a little getting ready to pass out. Sleep is right there. Alezorio stops walking.

Why aren't we going inside?

"Why are you here?"

Whose he talking to?

"Ali who is it?"

He's gone tense. The gently hold from before is now almost too tight. Alezorio's heart rate is picking up. I'm feeling it as he seems to get upset at whoever it is.

"This is who you're with?"

I hear the other person ask. A female from the voice. Whoever she is I don't like the tone she's using.

"You need to leave now." Ali tells her.

"I'm not going anywhere."

This girl sounds crazy. Doesn't she see him holding me? I struggle in his arms indicating I want him to put me down. Alezorio complies. I'm face to face with a pale skin dark hair women with light brown eyes. She's beautiful in that tall all legs perfect proportions kind of way. I don't like her. She standing in front the door like she belongs here.

"Nice to meet you I'm Adrianne Alezorio's ex-girlfriend."

Holding out her hand to shake. Which I ignore. Yep I don't like her. She's the ones who cheated on my baby.

"Ali let's go inside."

Ignore her Lianna, don't even waste your time. She's his past I'm his future. Adrianne doesn't matter. Alezorio gets out his keys and unlocks the door. We step around her and go in locking the door behind us. I'm not happy she cheated but I'm happy he left her because Alezorio deserves better.

"I'll be back Alezorio!"

Literally just roll my eyes at how crazy she sounds. I head upstairs to get ready for bed because I'm staying the weekend. Alezorio follows behind me not saying a thing. We both brush our teeth side by side, and wash our face. I bread my curls into a loose French braid then tye a hair tye around the end. I really need to get a bonet for when I spend the night. A least we have silk pillows cases.

"Lianna are you upset?"

"Why would I be? You didn't make her come here tonight. Beside you're mine, I have no reason to be upset, she does. Let's go to bed I wanna cuddle."

He made sure to hold me extra close. I slept like a baby. He's mine. There's nothing that's gonna change that. Especially not some ex who sucked another man's d*ck.

Koi soups don't you guys just love how confident Lianna's getting over each chapter. I really liked this chapter.
