"Well, now what should we do?" Lucy asks the group of even more people now.

I personally think we should all just go to sleep. This night has been longer than I ever anticipated and now they want to stay up even longer.

"Sleep." Is all Aidan says, as half of us nod in agreeance with him.

"Oh c'mon! We're here for one night and all you guys can think of doing is sleeping? When did you guys get so boring ?" Ryan asks, in a somewhat taunting tone.

"It's 10:45 pm, what can we do this late besides going to the movies or getting food?" Xavier asks.

"Party! Duh! It's a friday night and most parties haven't even started yet." Colin says, as a way of answering for Ryan.

"Party? No." Christine says firmly.

If they want to go to a party, that's fine with me! I'll be at my house with Christine, Corbin, Chloe and Noelle snuggled up in my warm, comfy bed.

"Wow, and we thought you girls would actually make this trip fun from what we've heard about you." Anthony says.

"Is being a dick a good way of making friends for you guys?" I say, too tired to care about pissing anyone off at this point.

"Is being a bitch a good way of making friends for you?" Ryan says back with a smirk.

"Don't call her a bitch." Xavier says to him, stepping towards Ryan as though he's about to fight him.

All Ryan does is throw his hands up, to signal to Xavier he's surrendering.

"Okay.... so, let's just go get food. We haven't ate since Amelia's and we can go to Rosie's Diner." Blake suggests, breaking the short awkward silence.

"Well who's driving who then, now that we have four more people?" Aidan asks.

"Xavier and I can drive." Lucy says.

"I'll drive the girls."

"I'll drive the boys."

"In your 5 seat cars, we still have three people without seats." I say.

"I can drive as well I guess. I'll just take Aidan, Grayson, and Jake." Blake tells us.

With the new issue already solved, we all put our shoes on and go outside. The girls and I get into Lucy's car, and because the boys demanded it with the recent attacks, drive behind Xavier and in front of Blake the entire way there.

Lucy pulls into a spot at Rosie's next to Xavier. We all get out and walk together into the diner. The diner was not really special in any way. It was a 60's themed diner and had good food.

"Hello! Welcome to Rosie's, how many are there of you guys?" The hostess/ waitress asks us.

"Should we split the group into two?" Corbin asks.

"Yeah, that will be easier." Colin says.

"Can we split the party but still get booths next to each other?" Xavier asks the waitress.

"Of course! How many booths will you guys need?"

"Oh just two." He says back to her.

"Okay just follow me then."

We do as told and follow her to the back to two big booths that we find out holds 8 to each one. The booths are next to each other but are split by the aisle.

In the booth I'm in, it's Aidan, Chloe, Corbin, then on my side, Blake, Christine, Xavier, then myself. At the other booth is Grayson, Lucy, and Colin on one side with Ryan, Jake, and Anthony across from them.

"Enjoy!" The waitress says as she leaves us to look at the menus.

"Should we share two plates of cheese fries as an appetizer or something?" Aidan asks.

"Hell yeah!" I say. My dad tries to make Chloe and I eat as healthy as possible so if Chloe or I ever have the chance to eat any junk food we jump on it.

"Do you want to share a meal? I'm not that hungry," Xavier says, lightly touching my arm. The moment he does those little shocks happen again, I must be going crazy.

"Sure, want do you want to split?" I ask, as I push my menu closer to him so he can see it as well.

"Well, I'm not really in the mood for a burger but if you want one we can get one." He tells me, flipping through the menu.

"Oh no, we don't have to get one. Actually I was looking at the chicken wraps they have." I say, pointing to them on the menu.

"Yeah, we can do that. Want to get the barbeque chicken or buffalo one?" He asks.

"Let's do barbeque, I don't want anything spicy at this time of night." I tell him, as he smiles at me.

A different waitress comes back a few moments after Xavier and I picked what we wanted. She was very pretty with long brown hair and bright green eyes and an olive complexion.

"Hi, I'm Anna and I'm your server for the night. What can I get for you guys?" She asks.

Corbin starts off and then we go around the table and then it comes to Xavier's and I's turn.

"Can we get the Barebeque Chicken wrap and for the fries can they be waffle fries? And then just two more cokes." Xavier says, handing the waitress the menu.

"Sure, anything for you..." She says, in a somewhat flirty tone, but can you really blame her? Hell I would probably flirt with Xavier as well if he came into my work!

Xavier on the other hand, just said thank you and didn't seem to actually realize she was flirting with him. That let me feel relieved, I don't know how long I could be friends with him if he started to date someone.

"Have you guys ever been up North, for skiing or anything like that?" Blake asks.

"No, my dad tried to get Chloe and I up there once but we all decided that would be a bad idea with how uncoordinated all three of us are." I tell them.

"I go up every year with my family during spring break, which can be the worst if the weather down here is warm and i'm up there in the cold." Christine says.

Christine's parents are always taking her and her older brother and sister on trips either in the United States or outside of it. She's been out of the country multiple times while I've never left once.

"You guys should come up with us some time, my family has a house up In Lake Tahoe and we go every winter break." Xavier says.

"Yeah, sometimes my family tags along, it's really fun up there especially in the little town, they don't have much to do but we always make the most out of it." Blake continues.

I honestly never had a desire to go up north except for San Francisco where mom lives, and even then it's kind of boring. North California just has never interested me, we never stay at our moms for more than one month at a time.

"Yeah, we can probably go up this winter break, I don't think we are going on any trips." Chloe says.

I nod at her. We might be able to go up after being at my moms since it's close to where their house is.

The waitress then comes back and hands us our drinks and the cheese fries, telling us that our food will be out soon and leaves as quickly as she came.

"Great! This break all three of our families are coming up so we will all be there." Xavier tells us.

"That's already so many people, how big is your house?" I ask. Does he really think three families plus four more girls will fit.

"I can't go, I'm going to England during Christmas break." Corbin says.

"Okay so without Corbin that still about 14 people." Christine says.

"Well we have about 6 rooms and we just put a few people to a room, then it could work." Xavier says.

"I'll have to check with my dad." I say. We usually go up to my mom's the night of Christmas and sleep over, we can just go up from there.

"Where does your mom live?" Aidan asks.

"She lives in San Francisco with her husband Jason. We go and visit them Thanksgiving break, Christmas, and in June." Chloe tells them.

"Don't you miss her throughout the year?" Blake asks.

"Well yeah, we talk to her on the phone often but she's always working so even if we were up there we wouldn't see much of her." I say.

My mom is a workaholic, but has calmed down since she's married Jason. By calmed down I mean she works now 45 hours a week and not 60.

"Bro, did you see that Andrew Stevens got that new BMW last week." Blake says, turning to Xavier.

"Dude our cars are probably still better than his will ever be." Xavier says, in a cocky way.

I always thought that BMWs were better and more expensive than Jeeps, maybe I'm wrong.

"You know, Amelia loves your car Xavier." Christine says, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Really?" He says, looking at me now.

"Yeah, I've always wanted a Jeep Wrangler but they are really expensive, and yours is really nice." I tell him.

"I can let you drive it some time, just so you get a feel for one incase you ever think about buying your own." Xavier tells me.

I smile, "For real? That would be awesome!"

"Dude! You don't even let me drive your car, and I'm your best friend!" Blake says, looking genuinely hurt.

Xavier just kicks his shin giving him a 'shut up' look. I'm not the best driver so maybe I should not drive his car if he's protective over it.

The waitress then comes back with our food. She sets it all down and asks if we need anything else.

"Do you mind bringing out an extra plate?" I ask her, which she smiles and says yes to.

She brings back the plate and leaves again.

"Yo Xavier!" Ryan says from the other table causing everyone to turn to look at him.

"What?" Xavier says back.

"You should get her number. She's been checking you out the entire time we've been here." Ryan says while laughing.

Xavier just shrugs his shoulders and turns back to his plate, with a slight blush on his cheeks. Maybe he actually does like this girl? That thought itself made my stomach drop and kind of ruins my mood now.

I eat in silence as everyone else continue to chatter amongst themselves. I don't know why but I really thought Xavier might had actually liked me back. But who am I kidding, no guy has ever liked me before, why would someone who is better than every other guy like me.

We all finish eating and pay for our food separately, myself paying for Chloe and Corbins food. Xavier tried to pay for them as well but I refused, he was already paying for our food and the appetizers.

I glanced at Xaviers receipt to see how much I owe him and saw a phone number written on the top with a winky face. I immediately knew it was from the waitress and decided I can't be mad over something that has yet to even happen, and even if it does it is his life and he has the right to do what he wants.

We all go to our cars and the minute I get in Christine and Chloe look at me and Christine says, "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing." I say, not wanting to talk about it.

"Oh c'mon, the minute Ryan said something about the waitress to Xavier, you've become mute."Chloe says.

"Yeah, even I realized it and I was at the other table." Lucy tells me.

"Okay, the fact the waitress was flirting with Xavier did not bother me, it was just when Ryan said that then Xavier's cheeks turned red I realized he must think she's cute. Then I looked at the receipt to see how much I owed him and her phone number was on it." I tell them.

"Amelia, as his sister I know that whenever someone brings up anything about a girl Xavier blushes. I also know that he totally likes you girl!" Lucy exclaims.

"If he did, wouldn't he have asked me to homecoming by now?" I say.

"Aidan hasn't asked Chloe out and we all know he's head over heels for her." Corbin points out, causing Chloe to start blushing.

"I know, but Aidan also didn't just have a girl give him her number." I say, looking down.

It's embarrassing to be so hooked on a guy that is only claimed to like you back. I just can't go off of Lucy's word if he actually does like me or not.

"Let's just stop talking about this." I say, looking out the window.

They all stop talking about Xavier and I. Christine brings up another topic but I'm not paying attention. I mean Blair does still have a hold over Xavier even if he doesn't see it, so I guess I never really had a chance with him.

We get back to Xavier and Lucy's house and everyone goes into the house without saying much.

"Let's go to sleep now." Lucy says, everyone in the group agreeing with her.

This day has been long for everyone and with the boys and Lucy going up North tomorrow, the girls and I are being dropped off at my house early tomorrow.

The girls decide to sleep in Lucy's room, and Xavier brings up a blow up mattress for two people to sleep on. He says goodnight to us and leaves without saying anything more.

Lucy, Christine and I sleep on her bed while Corbin and Chloe sleep on the blow up mattress.

I'm the last to fall asleep and that's only about 30 minutes after everyone has laid down.

I jolt up in my sleep after having a nightmare about being chased in the woods by some kind of wolf. I know its related to the animal attacks that have been happening recently.

I try to fall back to sleep but Lucy's snoring is too loud and annoying for me too, so I decide to just try to sleep on their living room couch.

I walk down the steps with a blanket and my cellphone, which tells me the time is 3:17 am. I lay down and just try to fall asleep and think of calming things so I don't think of my nightmare.

After minutes of trying to sleep I end up having the urge to pee. I walk to their bathroom near the basement and pee then leave. As I'm leaving, someone gasps causing me to become startled.

Of course it's the one person I don't want to be around right now, Xavier.

"What are you doing down here at this time?" He asks, rubbing his eyes.

"I could ask you the same thing." I say in a whisper to not wake anyone else up.

"Well I heard someone come down here and decided to see who it was." He tells me, moving into the kitchen.

I follow him saying, "Sorry for waking you, I just woke up and couldn't go back to sleep with Lucy's snoring so I decided to try to sleep down here."

"You shouldn't be sleeping on a couch, you can sleep in my room unless it's too weird for you." He says.

"No that's fine." I say quickly, I decide to not kill my chances of sleeping in the same bed as my crush.

We walk up to his room after I grab my phone and blanket, and he lets me in first, closing the door behind him. He lays on one side of the bed, against the wall as I lay next to him. He then puts the comforter over us and turns to me.

"What woke you up?"

"I had a nightmare regarding the recent wolf attacks and then I couldn't go back to sleep." I tell him, facing him.

"Oh well, you're safe with me." He says, turning onto his back. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." I say back, facing the other way and falling asleep.

And now I'm even more confused and my feelings are stronger because I know that I am safe with him.

I know you guys probably hate me for not updating for so long but this summer has been so hectic. Not only with my social life but as well with a new job and it has me too tired to do anything most days of the week. I will continue to update but I'll have to do it at my own pace so sorry about that!
