"Hey do you want to car pull to the game since your house is on my way to the school?" I ask Christine over the phone.

"Sure! Plus it will be easier parking wise." She says which is true. Tonight is one of our biggest home games because it's against our rival school.

"Okay also do you have any black face paint I can borrow?" I ask her. The students decided to do a blackout in the student section.

"Yeah, I'll bring it."

"Okay, I'll text you when I get to your house." I tell her.

"Okay bye girl" "bye" I say, hanging up.

I decided to wear black leggings, a black 'vans' t-shirt, my black swim team sweatshirt and my slip on checkered vans. I texted Lucy to remind her and the boys about the black out because I don't want them to be the only people there not in black.

I run down the steps and into the kitchen where dad and Amanda are. "Okay, I'm going to the game now, I should be home around 11." I tell them.

"Do you need cash for snacks or anything?" Amanda asks.

"No, I have ten dollars so that should be enough. Bye guys."

"Bye Amelia! Have fun!" "Bye sweetie!" They say and then I grab my keys and wallet and walk out the door.

I get into my car and start to drive towards Christine's house which is only 10 minutes away. From her house to the school is about 5 minutes.

I pull up and text her that I'm here. She comes out and jogs over to my car. "Hey cutie!" I say when she gets in

She is wearing black athletic shorts and her black volleyball t-shirt and has an adidas black sweatshirt with her. "Hey girl!"

"I'm so excited for tonight's game, especially since we are going to win." She says.

"I know. It's also about to be packed at the school." I say, as we start to drive to the school.

"Yeah, thank god I'm not driving." She says, which causes us both to laugh knowing how bad of a driver she is.

Once we get there, we park and text the group that we are here. Grayson then texts that he and Lucy are here and a minute later Xavier texts he and Blake are here now too.

Christine texts to the group, "Okay let's meet at the ticket stand." And everyone answers with an "Ok".

"Can I have the face paint real quick?" I ask Christine pulling out a mirror from my glove box.

"Yeah sure." She says handing it to me.

I do two black lines under my eyes and Christine does the same then we get out and walk towards the ticket stand.

"AMELIA, CHRISTINE! HEY!" We hear someone shout behind us. We turn around to see Zoe running towards us with Violet behind her.

She crashes into us and hugs us both at once. "IM SO HYPED UP OMG" she shouts as Christine and I just laugh with Violet.

"Look who is wearing Daniels jersey." I say to Christine.

Zoe blushes and waves her hand, "Oh stoppp, we just might be going to homecoming together..."

"Girllll you are so lucky." Christine says.

"You guys have Xavier King and Blake Cross wrapped around your finger. Trust me, you two are the lucky ones." She tells us.

"Oh stop. We barely know them." I say.

"Yeahhhh, sureee." Violet says, both her and Zoe unconvinced.

"Let's go get in line." Zoe says, pulling all of us with her.

Once we get to the ticket stand line, we see Xavier, Blake, Grayson and Lucy all standing to the side talking to each other.

"How can a color make someone look that much better." Zoe says, gawking over the guys.

They all look very good in black, Xavier was wearing black adidas joggers and a black basketball sweatshirt with 'King' on the back, while Blake was also wearing black adidas joggers but with a plain black t-shirt.

"Yeah you guys are for sure the lucky ones." Violet says, causing Christine and I to roll our eyes at her.

"Amelia! Christine!" Lucy says, dragging Grayson with her as Xavier and Blake walk behind them.

"Guys, this is Zoe and Violet." I say introducing them.

"Hey" They all say to each other.

"Do you guys have black face paint? I wanted to do what Amelia and Christine did." Lucy asks Zoe and Violet.

"Yeah." Zoe says pulling hers out of her pocket.

"Yay!" Lucy says, taking it and putting two lines under her eyes like Christine and I.

Xavier comes and stands next to me. "How has your week been?"

"Boring, but I did get my homecoming dress on Wednesday." I tell him. "What about you?"

"Stressful, I'm happy to be hanging out with everyone tonight though." He says.

"Sorry for it being stressful. Is your Uncle okay at least?" I ask, I hadn't realized the line moved up so Xavier put his hand on the bottom of my back to have me walk with him. There goes my heart.

"Yeah he's fine now. We expected him to be a lot worst." He says.

"Well it's good that he's okay."

It came to be our turn in line, "Hi! Do you guys have school ids?" The lady behind the counter asks.

We all show her our ids and get in for free. We walk to the bleachers and sit in the middle of the student section.

"It's a lot colder than I realized it would be." Lucy says. She's just wearing leggings and a t-shirt that looks like it's Graysons with how big it is on her.

"I agree." I left my sweatshirt in my car because I didn't think it would get this windy in late September.

"You can have my sweatshirt." Xavier says pulling it off to reveal a plain black t-shirt like Blakes.

"Oh, thanks!" I say, pulling it over my head. It's big, soft and smells of his cologne.

I look over to see Zoe winking at me and Christine wiggling her eyebrows causing me to roll my eyes.

"Babe, can I please have your sweatshirt?" Lucy asks Grayson with puppy dog eyes.

"But what if I get cold?" He says, fake pouting.

"Really?" Is all she says. She cheers in victory when Grayson gives her his sweatshirt.

Half-time finally comes around, with the score being 15-13, us winning. We all walk down to the snack-bar  and wait in the line.

"We should just get food after this." Grayson suggests.

We all agree on that and just buy waters from the stand. We walk back to our seats and I see Blair as we pass wearing a football jersey from the Malibu High School team. Maybe she actually is over Xavier.

Once we sit down we start to talk about homecoming. "Guys we should go as a big group this year!" Lucy suggests.

"Yeah, that sounds fun." Blake says.

"I'm down." Xavier says.

"Yes! Okay we'll take pictures at our house before hand. Obviously Grayson will be my date. Mmhm. Amelia go with Xavier and Christine go with Blake." She says.

"That works." Christine says a little nervous.

"Yeah that sounds good." Xavier says and Christine and I let out a breath of relief.

I turn to Xavier, "Okay my dress is forest green so I think you should wear either a black or a white button down, so we don't clash."

"We can go to the mall tomorrow or Sunday to look for stuff." He suggests.

"Just us? Sure!" Wow, this is great I now can have alone time with him. I might have a heart attack but that's okay!

"Let's go Sunday, it will be less crowded." He says.

"Yeah, we can go around 1 if that works for you."

"Sure, I'll pick you up."

"Okay."

"Yo love birds, Frankie Holland and a kid from Malibu are fighting on the field right now." Blake says, causing Xavier and I to look at the field.

All you see is Frankie, who is very tall, push a much shorter Malibu player onto the ground and punch him in the face as Nathan Becker runs over and grabs Frankie.

Coach Myers runs onto the field and starts screaming at Frankie who flips him off and walks to the side line and throw his helmet. Members of Malibu help up the kid as Coach Myers calls a time out.

"I wonder what caused that?" I ask aloud.

"That guy slept with Frankies girlfriend before they went out and has been talking shit on the both of them for the past few weeks." Zoe says from behind us.

"Damn." Christine says.

The game continues without anymore fights and ends with a score of 35-20 with us winning like we all knew we would.

"Let's go to the Santa Monica Pier tonight!" Lucy says.

"Are you kidding, it's 10 pm now, we wouldn't even get there until 11." I say.

"Then let's go tomorrow. Spend the day in Santa Monica! Pleaseeeee." She begs.

"I say we go." Christine says.

"Me too." Blake agrees.

"Okay, I love Santa Monica." I tell them.

"Okay, I guess we are going." Xavier says.

"Okay so I'll ask Aidan if he wants to come and Amelia can ask Chloe." Blake says.

"Whos cars are we taking?" I ask.

"Let's do mine and Xavier's." Blake says.

"Okay, we can all meet at my house at 8 am." I say.

Everyone agrees with the plan, and since we are going to Santa Monica, we ditch dinner and all go home.

"Bye guys."

"Bye!"

Christine and I walk to my car and both squeal when we get into it. "WE GET TO SEE XAVIER AND BLAKE SHIRTLESS TOMORROW!" She screams.

"GIRL I CAN'T." I say, as I start to drive to Christine's house.

"Text me in the morning what you're wearing." She tells me.

"Of course. Maybe Amanda will make breakfast for us then my dad can meet them." I say.

"I don't even care if they are werewolves anymore!" She says laughing.

"Hahaha, well it's not like they actually are." I say laughing as well.

It's too unreal and bizare for them to actually be werewolves.

"Oh shit. I never gave Xavier his hoodie back." I say, looking down at the sweatshirt.

"I wish Blake had a sweatshirt I could've taken." She says, sighing.

"I didn't take this on purpose."

"I would've"

"I'll see you tomorrow." I say, as she gets out of my car when I pull up to her house.

"Bye girl." She says, then shuts the door and jogs to her front door.

I make it back to my house, and walk in to see my dad and Amanda in the kitchen making cookies.

I sit on one of the bar stools. "Well you guys are going to be meeting Xavier and Aidan tomorrow morning and the rest of the group." I tell them, eating a cookie.

"I'll make pancakes!" Amanda says excitedly.

"What time will they be here?" My dad asks.

"8, also can I go to Santa Monica tomorrow?"

"I don't see why not. Is Chloe going?"

"I still have to ask." I say.

Right on cue, Chloe walks through the door and into the kitchen. "Hey, are you guys talking about the trip to Santa Monica?"

"Yeah, how do you know about it already?" I ask her, we planned it only about 30 minutes ago.

"Blake called Aidan about 5 minutes ago, we are going too." She tells us.

"Okay, Amanda is going to make breakfast for us."

"That's nice."

"How was your date?" Amanda being the first to ask.

"Amazing, he's such a gentleman and we have literally everything in common. It's like we're soul mates." She tells us.

"Soul mates? You two are 16 and just met." I say, skeptical of her use of the words.

"Just because you don't have a deep connection with a boy doesn't mean I can't." She says, glaring at me.

"Chill out." I say back.

"I'm happy you had a good time, and I'm excited to meet him tomorrow. Back to the trip, who is driving you guys?" Dad asks.

"Xavier and Blake. I'll probably go with Xavier and Chloe will probably go with Aidan and Blake." I tell him.

"Okay, tomorrow I'll see how trustworthy they really are."

"They're good guys dad." Chloe says.

"Honey, we can trust Amelia and Chloe to be around good boys." Amanda tells him.

I smile at her appreciatively then say "Goodnight" to them.

"Goodnight. Also make sure we are awake when you guys get up tomorrow." Amanda tells us.

"We will." I then walk up to my room with Noelle trailing behind me.

Chloe walks behind me to go to her room.

"Hey, Xavier and I are going to homecoming together." I tell her.

"Ayy, did he ask you?"

"No, we are going as a group, but I'll take what I can get." I tell her.

"He for sure likes you so just wait, he will ask you out soon. I know it. Goodnight." She tells me.

"Goodnight."

I walk into my bathroom and take a shower then change into my pjs and lay down. I get to go to one of my favorite places with some of my favorite people. Life is pretty nice right now.
