We all get out of the cars, and make our way into the house without saying a word. Every since the phone call, no one has really said anything.

"Xavier, Blake, and Grayson, we need to talk about how to get this under control." I hear a man say to the boys when we all get into the house.

"Honey, we have guests. That can wait." A woman says to the man, who looks like the male version of Lucy.

"You're right dear. Pardon my manners." The man says to the woman, who looks like Xavier.

"It's finally nice to meet you girls." Their mom says to us. "I'm Dana and this is my husband Andrew."

"Hi. I'm Amelia." I say to her, shaking their hands.

"I'm Chloe."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Christine."

"And I'm Corbin."

"It's very nice to meet you. Are you girls staying the night?" Their dad, Andrew, asks.

"Oh no, we are going to be staying at my house tonight." I tell them.

"Well, you girls are welcomed here whenever you want." Their mom tells us.

"Thank you." Christine says.

"Well, we are going to go hang out in the pool now." Lucy says, as we all walk to the back yard.

The backyard consisted of a fire pit with benches around it on the left side, and then a huge pool when you walk down two steps. Then the back yard was blocked off by a forest, acting as a fence in a way.

We all get into the pool and just swim around, and open up everything we bought at Target. I end up floating on a donut pool float. Everyone was either swimming around or laying on a float for about 30 minutes.

"We should have relay races!" Corbin shouts to everyone from one side of the pool.

"We should!" Lucy then shouts.

"Noooo, then my hair will have chlorine in it." Christine says.

"Just wash it in my shower when we get out." Lucy tells her.

"UGH." She says back, being dramatic.

"Okay everyone line up in the shallow end." Blake says.

We throw all of the pool floats out, and line up in two lines in the shallow end of the pool. I look beside me and see that I will be racing Grayson. I feel confident because I've been on the swim team for the past three years here and two years at my old school.

"Okay, who should be the person to say start, then tell who was the winner?" Chloe asks.

"I'll do it. I suck at swimming anyways." Grayson says.

Well there goes my chances of winning. As he moves to the side, Xavier moves up and takes his spot, now being my competitor.

"I hope you're good at swimming." I tell him. "Let's just say, I have a few years of swimming under my belt."

"Oh do you now. Well considering I also have some swimming experience, may the best man win." He says. We then shake hands on it.

Christine and Lucy go first, Christine winning. Then Chloe went up against Aidan, with Chloe winning since she does swim along with me.

It turns to be Xavier's and I turn, and honestly I start to feel a little anxious, not wanting to lose. Grayson shouts 'go' and I swim as fast as I can to the end and back. I come up after making it back, and I don't see Xavier beside me.

"Hell Yeah!" I scream. I am then tackled into the water and immediately know it's Xavier due to the shocks I feel.

"What?" I say when I resurface.

"Xavier made it back here seconds before you did and then scared you." Grayson tells me.

I slap Xavier lightly. "Ugh, and I really thought I could beat you." I say, faking being sad.

"Suck it up, buttercup." He says, making me gasp then laugh.

The races continue for another round. This time I was against Blake and I was able to win that race for real. We continue to just play around and floating on the water.

Dana comes out from the house and says, "Kids, it's getting late, you might want to get out now."

We then get out and dry off before going back into the house. Lucy takes Christine, Corbin, Chloe, and I up to her room to get changed as the boys go to Xavier's room. We all change into workout shorts and random t-shirts. I put my hair into a braid, Christine and Lucy wash theirs, and Corbin and Chloe put theirs into buns.

"It's already 10:00?" Corbin says.

"I didn't realize it was so late. Maybe you guys should just sleep over and then we can take you back home tomorrow." Lucy says.

"Will your parents mind?" Christine asks.

"I'll go ask them. Amelia, can you go tell the boys the plan." Lucy tells us.

"Which one is Xaviers room?" I ask.

"The one at the end of the hall." She says, walking out.

I walk out as well and walk towards the room she told me. I knock on the door and Xavier opens it shirtless. Let's just say my heart rate increased to an alarming speed.

"What's up?" He asks. Opening it more to allow me to come in.

His room was painted blue and he had a king sized bed against the wall on the right side of his room and on the opposite wall was two doors, seemingly leading to a closet. His room was bigger than Lucy's but not my much.

"Well Lucy suggested we just sleep here tonight instead of at my house." I tell him.

I decide that looking anywhere but him would be my safest bet in being able to keep a steady breathing pattern right now. Before he could even answer, and as I am staring at his desk, Blake walks in.

I turn around to look at him, who has black basketball shorts on and a dark blue t-shirt with wet hair. "Lucy told me we are sleeping here tonight."

"Yeah, that was what Amelia was telling me. Where is Grayson?" Xavier asks, from behind me.

"Downstairs with Lucy." Blake answers.

"Well, I'm going to go downstairs as well. Bye" I say, rushing out of the room.

I go to Lucy's room and the girls and I walk downstairs together. Lucy was down there with Grayson watching reruns of 'The Office', as we all sit and continue to watch the episode.

"Lucy, can you turn on channel 10." Her mom says, ascending the stairs with their dad.

Lucy turns on the channel, and the news states that there was an animal attack close to here this afternoon. Xavier, Aidan, and Blake then come down and take a seat next to Christine and I.

"It is suspected that the victim, a 30 year old woman named Martha Wilson, was killed by a wolf this afternoon around 4 pm. The police and animal control are currently-"

"Why is it close to here?" Aidan asks.

"I don't know. It shouldn't have come down here after being up near Sacramento." Andrew says.

"Girls, do you mind excusing us." Dana says.

"Oh we can just go wait out back for you guys to finish talking." Christine volunteers.

Christine, Corbin, Chloe, and I walk to the back yard, and sit on the benches around the unlit firepit.

"I guess the call was about a family member being attacked by a wolf." Corbin says.

"The way they are talking about it, is as though it's the same wolf that hurt their family member." Christine says.

"Werewolf!" Chloe shouts.

"What?" Christine says.

"Oh my- Amanada told us that people thought their parents were werewolves in high school" I tell the girls.

"So you're telling ME that WE have been hanging around a bunch of WEREWOLVES." Corbin shouts.

"Stop shouting! The last thing we want is for them to think we're crazy." Christine says.

"What do we even know about werewolves. They shift on full moons, their fast, heightened senses. They have shown no symptoms like that." I say.

I start to try and think of what they have done that could be linked to a werewolf. We haven't had a full moon since we've known them. They were never super fast. They were able to get tipsy at the party.

"The party! Remember when I said that Xavier had a bloody lip and he didn't even have a bruise once he was cleaned up! Aren't werewolves able to heal quickly?" I whisper to them.

"You guys really think that werewolves are real! I mean Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries all of that stuff is fake!" Christine exclaims.

"Well do you have a better idea?" Chloe asks.

"Yes. They are regular kids with regular parents and wolves are actually attacking people not werewolves!" Christine says.

"Why can't you ever believe anything? You always have to have evidence for something to be real!" I exclaim. It frustrating that she never believes anything she can't see.

"Are you really bringing up the ghost you saw in my house? IT'S NOT REAL AMELIA." She shouts.

"If it wasn't real, then why DID I HAVE A SCRATCH THE NEXT MORNING?" I shout back.

"How should I know? Plus I own a cat that scratches things!" She says back.

"Guys stop-" Chloe tries to say but get's cut off.

"Are you guys okay?" Lucy says, opening the back door.

"Yeah we're fine." I say.

When we get inside, a knock comes from the front door, and then it opens to four tall, muscular boys. One has blonde hair and green eyes, the other has black hair and brown eyes, the next one has brown hair and blue eyes and the last one has blonde hair and brown eyes.

"Jake, Ryan, Anthony, and Colin, it's nice to see you boys again!" Dana says, pulling them each in for a hug.

"Guys, these are some of our cousins from Lake Tahoe." Lucy explains.

"Hey." We say.

"Well aren't you girls pretty." One of them says.

"I'm Ryan, nice to meet you." The boy with black hair and brown eyes says, grabbing my hand and kissing the back of it.

"I'm Amelia." I tell him, blushing.

A growl is then heard and I snap my head towards Xavier who looks like he's about to kill Ryan. I pull my hand away as Ryan just laughs.

"Hi. I'm Anthony." The boy with brown hair and blue eyes tells us.

"And I'm Jake and this is Colin." The boy with blonde hair and blue eyes says while pointing to the boy with blonde hair and brown eyes.

"We'll it's nice to meet you guys." Christine says.

"What are you guys doing here?" Xavier asks.

"Well we need to talk about what happened to Uncle John and the woman." Jake says.

"We think it has to do with ro-"

"Okay! Let's talk about this in the kitchen" Andrew says, cutting Anthony off.

"Girls please excuse us one more time." Dana says as everyone walks into the kitchen but Christine, Corbin, Chloe, and I.

"Those boys are h to the o to the t!" Christine whispers.

"Tell me about it but, what were they going to say?" I ask.

"Well what starts with 'r-o'" Chloe asks.

"Rope, rogue, rotten" Corbin says

"What's a rogue?" Chloe asks.

"Like a dishonest man." I say.

"Well so far it sounds like none of those." Christine says.

Everyone then comes out of the kitchen and we stand up.

"Turns out our uncle is worst than we thought." Lucy says.

"So we are going to go see him tomorrow." Xavier says.

"All of you?" Chloe asks.

"Yeah, our families are really close." Blake answers.

"Well when will you be back?" Christine asks.

"Probably Monday maybe Tuesday." Grayson says.

"Also the boys are going to be staying over as well." Dana says.

"We are going to go to bed now, don't stay up to late kids." Andrew says, as he and Dana walk up stairs.

I have a feeling, this night will be a long night.
