|I start to feel sick when i picture you out of my life.|

Adrian's pov:

It's been a week since my aunt's wedding reception. Everything was back to normal. There were still two weeks left before school start and so will our exams. It was our final year and we would be graduating.

My phone rang and I surprised it was my dad calling me.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hello, I need you to come to the office today, it's urgent I need to talk to you." He said and before I replied, he hangs up. I sighed and texted Colton that I won't be able to meet them at the club today.

I changed my shirt and comb my hair before making my way to my car. I did text Nina and she was with the girls, having a girl day.

I drove to my dad's office which was 3 hours away from my house. When I entered the building, there were a lot of people in the waiting room.

I walked to the counter and found his assistance, Vanessa. I guess she recognized me since she left her file on the table and walked toward me.

"Adrian, your dad is waiting for you upstairs. He cancels all his meetings and he is waiting for you." She said and I frowned.

What does he want to talk about?

I made my way upstairs and walked to his office. I knocked and heard a 'come in'. I stepped inside and saw him sitting on his leather chair.

"Take a seat, Adrian." He said, looking up at me. I sat down in front of him and let him speak.

"I won't take much of your time but I need to talk to you and I hope you listen carefully and pay attention to what I'm going to say." He started, "This year you already turned 18 years old and your mother, Elena wanted you to take over her business once you turned 18. She made a contract where she stated that the company will be yours and everything will be under your control."

I was shocked by his confession.

"Wait... why are you telling me this now?" I asked curiously.

"I didn't know about this myself. The lawyer came early this week and showed me the paperwork that Elena did. I told Matt to leave the office since he was the one looking after Elena's company. He left yesterday and the company doesn't have any owner or manager now. You need to take over as soon as possible." He stated.

"What do you mean as soon as possible? I can't leave right now. I have college and I'm graduating in a few weeks." I said and he sighed.

"I don't care how you will manage but you have to come here. I already got your house to settle, you can move in anytime. You need to move in soon. You can't let your mother company make loses." He said and I groaned. He was using my mom's name to blackmail me to come to settle down here. I will be left alone, no friend by my side even Nina won't be by my side. I would be alone again like I was years ago when they left. I can't go through that again but if I refuse, my mom's work will be wasted. If she wanted me to work here, so be it.

"When do I need to move in here?" I asked.

"In 3-4 weeks." He stated and I sighed.

"Fine, in 4 weeks I'll move here," I said and he nodded.

I left the office and went to my car. All the way back home, I was still thinking about the contract. I'm sure Olivia and Matt are more mad at me now since I'm legally the new owner now and they won't get any money from the company unless I give them permission. But that wasn't my main problem.

Nina. She was my main concern. I didn't want to leave her. I didn't want to do those long-distance relationships when I can have her by my side. There was no doubt that I'll have to leave school to join the company. I might not be able to do the exams and get graduated.

I sighed and drove back home. On my way, I stopped at the jewelry store. I needed to do a purchase and this will change our lives.

----

I was now in a café shop where I asked the guys to join me. I also asked them to bring the girls and that they shouldn't tell Nina about it. I wanted to talk to her later and explained everything to her.

"What's the matter?" Eva asked once we all settled down.

"We had to lie to Nina that we got something urgent to do," Amy said.

"Everything's good?" Colton asked concerned.

"No.." I shake my head no. I explained everything to them and told them about what my dad told me. They were all silent listening to me. No one interrupted me and I was grateful for that.

"You are moving away from here?" Landon asked and I nodded.

"Wait... are you going to break up with Nina? Is that why you didn't call her here?" Amy asked worriedly.

"You don't have to break up with her. You can still have a long-distance relationship." Blake shrugged.

"Yeah, and moreover it's only 3 hours away from here. You can visit her occasionally." Colton added.

"And I'm sure she will understand once you talked to her and explained everything." Melanie smiled encouragingly.

I wasn't going to break up with her. She was the best thing that ever happens to me, I wasn't going to be a stupid dude and let her go. No... Never.

"I'm not going to break up with her," I said firmly and they sighed relieved.

"That's good, you don't need to break up. You guys looked too good together." Melanie said making everyone chuckled.

"I won't be able to break up with her and I don't want to do the long-distance relationship when she can be with me," I said and they looked at me confused.

"What do you have in mind?" Landon asked.

I didn't reply to him but put my hand in my pocket and took out the small box. They all looked at me and when I opened the box, they all gasped at me.
