After your nightmare the night before, Bucky decided you needed a day away from the tower. He took you all over the city for a date. Once calmed back down from your dream he cuddled you until you woke up. You two just laid together for a while cracking jokes and laughing. Then you changed into a yellow dress with white sandals ( Bucky loved yellow on you ) he couldn't stop looking at you once you had everything on , you twirled around making your dress flow out around you looking goofy with a huge grin plastered on your face he just stood back and watched how happy you were before he started to get dressed. He wore a yellow  flannel with jeans and boots. You loved how you both matched and we're ready to go out on the town and have an adventure. Nat & Clint were arguing over lunch when they suddenly stopped and gawked seeing the two of you hand in hand  practically running to the elevator to leave. " Have fun!" You hear them both yell as the elevator door closed leaving the two of you to admire how great both of you looked. Bucky reached down to kiss you as the elevator kept going down , he loves you so much ( more than you'd ever know ) and after last night he can't ever let you be like that again. As the elevator swings open he picks you bridal style and carries you out of the lobby onto the sidewalk. You hold hands as you walk down the street to find a place to get lunch, you suggest a shawarma place that Tony told you was fantastic and Bucky agrees. You stop by and pick up the food and stop to eat at a park in Brooklyn to have your lunch. As you eat Bucky tells you about his childhood playing and being free in this part of the city with Steve and how before the war  he thought he'd never come home to it. It made you tear up, thinking of your own hometown feeling like you'd never be able to go home. Bucky noticed you crying silently and stopped everything to try and make you feel better. He threw his arm around your shoulder. The feeling of his  cool metal arm made you feel better automatically. He saw you put a small smile on your face and it made him smile even wider. After your picnic, you caught a train to Coney Island. Bucky never knew this about you but, you love rollercoasters. He saw your eyes light up as soon as you stepped on the boardwalk. You saw a teenage boy running towards you with a camera in his hands. You recognized him automatically. It's Peter Parker, he's at the avengers tower all the time for his " internship" with Tony but really it's just him being a nerd with a super suit who plays uno and watches Netflix with you & Wanda. He gave you a side hug but when he saw Bucky he backed away and put on a fake serious face. He has always been terrified of Bucky because of how mysterious he seems. Bucky gives him a small smile and Peter asks to snap our picture. I say of of course but Bucky reluctantly agrees and we pose together like a cheesy couples photo and Peter takes the picture. " I'll give you a copy next time I'm at the tower Y/N!" He shouts as he runs off the rejoin his friends. After hours of riding rollercoasters and playing games , the sun begins to set Bucky takes you down to the beach to walk as the colors change in the sky, you can't help but smile thinking of how great you're day was, going to some of you're favorite places in the city, learning more and more about you're amazing boyfriend and finally just being alone with him outside of the confining walls of the tower. He looks over at you with a loving smile and you start blushing just as the sun is finally starting to set. He reaches his metal hand over to your cheek to cool you down and kiss you gently. You stay like this for what seems like forever then Bucky lets you go and you start to head back to the tower, walking, so you can spend the most time possible just you and the man that you love.. ♥️
