Nina's pov:

I was getting the twin ready in their room. I already made them took a shower and dried them. They were both on the bed with only their diapers as I choose their outfit for tonight.

They both had their own closet since we bought a lot of clothes for them.

Once I chose their outfit, I quickly changed them. I heard the door opened and I knew Adrian was home. Even if it was the new year's eve, Adrian still had to work.

"Hi," Adrian said before kissing my temple.

"Hi, how was your day?" I asked. I picked Savannah in my arm since she started to cry.

"Like always, it was boring and how was your day with the twin?" He asked picking Elijah. He kissed Elijah's cheeks making him smiled.

"It was calm, like always," I replied.

"Colton called me before I left the office. He books the restaurant for 7:30 pm, so we have only 30 minutes to get ready and leave." Adrian explained and I nodded.

"The twins are already ready and I just need to put my dress on," I said.

"Well, I'll go and take a quick shower then." He said as he put Elijah back on the bed. I put Savannah next to Elijah before I walked to my closet and pick my outfit.

I did my make up and did my hair. Adrian walked out with only his towel around his waist. He smirked and looked at me.

"Damn babe, you look beautiful." He said and I chuckled.

"Thank you. I would have said the same for you but you aren't even wearing clothes." I said and he laughed.

He went to put on his outfit while I packed a bag for the twin. I took some diapers, two other outfits, their feeding bottle-in case I can't breastfeed in public- and their pacifier. They were both looking around with their thumb in their mouth.

I bend to remove their hand from their mouth, earning a cry from Elijah. I gave both of them their pacificer and grabbed a towel to clean their hands. I gasped when I felt a hard slap on my butt. I turned around and saw Adrian smirking.

"Why would you even do that?" I asked.

"I told you to not bend in front of me. I can't help it." He shrugged and I rolled my eyes.

"We should leave. It's already 7:34 pm." I said and he nodded. He grabbed the bag and that's when I noticed his outfit.

He did look really good.

"If you are done checking me out, can we leave now?" He chuckled and I rolled my eyes. I walked to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. I pulled him, kissing his soft lips.

"You are mine, so I get to look at you whenever I want." I murmured after we pulled away.

"That's fucking right."

We were now in a restaurant with our friends. We already got our order and we were eating our food. The twin feels asleep in their stroller so we didn't wake them up.

I noticed that Elijah was curled up in his stroller and I reached to pull the blanket up to his neck. He stirred and grabbed my finger. His grip was tight. I let him hold my finger while I ate with one hand. Adrian did notice what Elijah did and he helped me to eat.

"It's already 10:30 pm. We can walk around while we wait for midnight." Amy suggested and we agreed.

We paid our bills and walked out of the restaurant. Elijah was now on my chest since he woke up when I remove my hand from his grip. Adrian was pushing the stroller while I walked beside him.

There were a lot of people walking around in the park. Some people were sitting on the grass looking at the stars while some were talking and laughing with their loved ones.

The guys all went their way to the different stall in the park while Adrian and I stayed near a bench with the twin.

"It will be the first time I'll be celebrating the new year with my family," Adrian said beside me. I looked at him and he was looking at Elijah. I know how hard his life was before we met and now I just hope that I can make it better for him.

I wrapped my arm around his waist and laid my head on his chest. He hugged both Elijah and I, "From now on, everything will change for the better."

"I hope that you are right." He murmured in my hair. I looked up and reached to peck his lips.

"I love you," I said and he smiled.

"I love you too." He said.

Our little moment was cut off by Savannah, who started to cry. Adrian picks her up and pampered her with kisses on her cheeks. She liked it and smiled widely at his dad.

"Now, that's a smile I want to see every new year eve. That's the smile we need to start the next year ahead, forgetting every bad experience from the past." He said and I nodded.

No one can go back in time to change what has happened. So, work on your present to make yourself a wonderful future.

We all gathered up in the middle of the park where a lot of people were standing. Some men organized a count down for the new year in the park and after the count down, there will be some firecrackers.

Adrian wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me next to him. Like always, I was holding Elijah while Adrian had Savannah.

"It's will start soon," Blake said his arm around Eva.

We all waited and then the count down start.

There was a lot of noise around but it didn't matter. Adrian kissed me hard and I kissed him back. We made sure that both kids had a baby ear protection on their ear.

After the firecrackers, we all went to our home. The twin felt asleep and we carried them to their cribs. Once done, we both changed up and went to bed.
