Author's pov

Y/n was crying hardly, tears were dropping from her eyes continuously. She was looking like a child who was afraid of seeing the monster standing in front of her as her grip tightened around her knees.

His chest clenched seeing her that vulnerable state. He never wanted to hurt her in any way but he knew that he did .

He walked towards her and then kneeled down in front of her.

"Doll.." He said with a low and soft voice.

Y/n didn't reply, she just hugged her knees more tightly with out looking at him.

He touched her shoulder softly  making her body to shivered with his touch, she instantly shrugged off her shoulder in order to removed his hand.

"Doll..."

"Leave me alone.. " Y/n stuttered while shaking uncontrollably.

He felt a sting in his chest hearing her words.

"At least listen to me.." He said with his deep yet calm voice but she still didn't reply and neither took her eyes upward.

He tried to touch her shoulder again but she suddenly pushed his hand away and shouted

"I said leave me alone.." Y/n said shrugging off his hand and tried to get up for walking away from him.

But she stopped when he caught her hand in his ,stopping her from taking further step.

"I said .. "

He stopped her in the middle of her sentence by pulling her towards his chest and hugged her tightly.

His one hand snaked around her waist while the other one went to her head holding her body tightly in his embrace.

Y/n struggled in his arms, she tried to push him away forcefully several times but badly failed in her all attempts

He didn't even bulge from his place on the other hand he hugged her more tightly burying his head in her neck.

Y/n started to take deep breathes feeling his face touching on her neck.
She closed her eyes tightly as she didn't know what to do anymore because even after all of that,his warmth was soothing her pain which now she started needing .

"I am sorry Doll, I didn't mean to hurt you in any way"  He said softly in her ears making Y/n to opened her eyes slowly because of the sudden contact of his lips on her earlobes..

She didn't utter a single a word, at that point she even stopped struggling in his arms.

She was standing there just like a statue while her tears continued to fall down from her eyes.

"Please say something Doll, if you want to shout at me just shout but please just don't kept quiet" He pleaded

He never pleaded in front of anybody ,he never even spoke to someone respectfully.

But he was doing all of that because of her, because of his Doll whom he couldn't stand seeing hurt at any cost.

"Please say something..I am sorry I wasn't questioning on you..I could never my Doll ...I trust you with my everything...." He spoke and hugged her more firmly

"Then why you hurted him ?" She said in an almost whispering voice making him to sighed.

"You hurt Baekhyun for no reason"

She sobbed now holding his coat tightly.

He again sighed heavily and then palmed her face. His heart sting watching her beautiful doe eyes to redden with tears.

He softly wiped her tears and said

"I am really very sorry Doll, I didn't know that he was helping you

I thought he was touching you with some bad intentions" He said and Y/n first time in her life saw that softness in his eyes for her.

"But he was not" She said as tear again fell from her eyes making him to immediately wiped it.

"I know and I am sorry for that, I thought he was going to hurt you. I just wanted to protect you, I didn't want you to get hurt in any way because

Watching you hurt makes me feel its pain"

Her heart skipped a beat hearing his words as slowly and slowly her heart again started drowning into him and his tenderness.

"Please forgive me" He said as she could feel the guilt in his eyes, guilt of hurting her even unintentionally.

And that was it for her heart to again totally taken over her entity. She didn't reply him by her words instead she just closed her eyes and hugged him back tightly that time without any hesitation like she wasn't afraid to accept it anymore that now she wasn't afraid of getting closer to him.

She buried her face into his chest, inhaling his scent which now started to make her body calm.

He putted his chin on her head and kissed her head gently and embraced her back.

She just silently shedded her tears in his arms holding him tightly and at that moment she realized that he genuinely cared for her, she was really important to him more than anything and anyone and her heart also started to give him a entry in it without even letting her to knew about it.

She also started to feel something for him, something different and special which she never felt before for anyone.

They both just stood there hugging each other tightly .

They didn't uttered a single word to each other. The silence between them spoke everything as it felt like a wall between them broke that day and let them got more closer to one another.

And after 5 minutes of hugging , he slightly broke the hug and again wiped her tears gently.

Y/n opened her eyes slowly and look at his eyes which seemed different now. She saw something warm inside them.

Her heart and mind wanted to say so many things to him but right now she just wanted an answer to her one and most important question

"Why did you save me 8 years ago? "She asked him looking straight into his eyes.

He also stared back at her eyes and softly smile hearing her question

After so many days ,Y/n first time saw him smiling. Her heart tingled seeing his beautiful smile.

" Because 8 years ago I saw myself in you"

Y/n got confused by his answer , she looked at him with her beautiful and cute confusing expression.

He slightly chuckled seeing her cute reaction and kissed her forehead slowly making Y/n to just closed her eyes when his lips touched her forehead .

And then he gaped into her eyes.

"No matter what Doll just remember one thing I can go  any extent to protect you.

And I will do anything to protect you from getting hurt in any way" He said while holding her waist gently.

Y/n just softly gave him a smile in return which she now didn't even try to hide from him.

"Now go get some rest, you have school tomorrow" He said sliding his palm over her head

"Umm.. Ok" Y/n nodded

He then smiled and tried to leave her room

"Umm. Thank you"

He stopped in his track hearing her and turned around towards her direction again.

He looked at her with an amused reaction who was fiddling with her fingers with a slight pout on her face.

"Umm..thankyou for always saving me from troubles" Y/n said a little nervous looking down to the floor

He smiled and said

"Good night my Doll "

Y/n looked upward hearing him and got confused

"And no you don't need to thank me because I am not saving you,

I am saving my own self my Doll"

With that he left her room, leaving little Y/n in confusion

Y/n sighed by thinking about how confusing and complicated that human being was.

A smile appeared on her lips thinking about him but she shrugged off her thought and said to her subconscious

"You are really badly messing with my both head and heart....."

Next day

"Oh

He kissed you, Mr handsome kissed you" Chaerin screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Chaerin calm down, you will inform the whole school about this" Y/n said trying to make her over excited friend to calm down.

"How can I calm down after knowing my one and only Y/nnnie lose her first kiss with Mr Kim Trashyhyung..."

"Shut up Chaerin and stop calling him that" Y/n said rolling her eyes at her.

"Oh now you are being Possessive of him .....hmm. " Chaerin said with a devilish smirk on her face.

Y/n looked at her in disbelief

"Ok ok enough with my drama, tell me did you enjoy it" Chaerin asked getting closer to Y/n

Y/n's eyes widened at her question, her cheeks started to heat up.

"Now Look you are blushing like a Doll
Mr Kim Trashy's doll"

Y/n's whole face turn red after hearing her words.

After school

Y/n stopped in the middle of her sentence seeing someone else entering the Hall.

Her gaze fell on that totally unknown stranger who walked in and stated with a smile.

"Hello, I am Bae Joo Hyun

Mr V's New Secretary".
