"Princess wake up" my fathers quiet voice whispers as he shakes my shoulder softly with one of his large hands. "daddy?" I mutter tiredly and peel open my eyes to see him smiling down at me. "time to get up and get ready Princess, those guests will be arriving here in only a couple hours." he helped me up into a sitting position on the side of my bed when I nodded in agreement.

he walked to my closet and pulled out a nice yet simple outfit and set it beside me leaving the room to let me change but I knew he was right outside waiting for the okay to come in or for my call if I needed his help.

Carefully and slowly I stripped out of my clothes and into the new ones he set out for me grateful for the easy skirt that went just about four inches past my knees, he had matched them well, the skirt was a soft creamy orange with flowers decorating the ends of the fabric, it was a layered skirt so in some places it was higher and some places lower, I loved this one. to match he had picked out a cute orange tank top.

It must be really warm and sunny out today if he picked this out. the thought of sun instantly brightened my mood and I called my dad back in. he entered quickly scooping me up and setting me into my chair, then sliding on some cute orange flip flops on my feet.

"I'm going to get started on breakfast." I nodded and made my way out of my room that was thankfully located on the bottom floor of the house and and into the bathroom, grabbing my brush and thanking everything id taken a bath before I went to bed last night as I brushed through my tangles, my hair still smelt like strawberry and my hair looked more strawberry blonde than blonde today.

I looked like a kid with my sunny attire and and childlike face. I set my brush down once it got to its normal soft waves and curls and rolled out of the bathroom into the kitchen.

My father was just serving up some pancakes to my brothers when I came in and he handed me my plate, I balanced it in my lap as I rolled to my brothers who only gave me a quick smile as greeting before returning to stuffing their faces with pancakes.

"Pigs" I teased before rolling away to find someone more entertaining. I ended up going to my fathers office, he was working on his computer he gave me a smile and a little wave that made me laugh and debate going to find the tv but I felt better in there with him so I ate quietly as I watched him work.

I finished eating the same time that he finished his work and he stood taking ahold of my chair and wheeling me Out of his office into the living room where the boys were standing completely alert and serious as they watched my dad for orders. these weren't my playful brothers anymore but the serious overprotective Betas.

"We will be leaving soon, Kyle you stay with your sister at all times I don't want her to be alone, they may be our allies but they can't be trusted around her." Kyle nodded his gaze flickering to me with a smile. we all already knew he would end up watching me as he wasn't the one going to take the beta title but still had that power while Jacob is the future beta and our dad is the beta so they would be present at the meeting.

"Jacob you stick with me, you don't leave my side unless it has to do with Mary. If anything happens you report it back to me, Mary if you end up alone and something happens you tell us immediately. Try not to wander from Kyle okay?" I nodded knowing not to fight him on this even though if the other pack decided to attack we wouldn't stand a chance anyway.

they were just concerned over me and I knew they just worried and it wasn't worth fighting with them over when they were only trying to keep me safe.

With a final nod my father took us all outside carefully setting me into the car while running Jacob over what was going to happen. Kyle was busy staring out the window probably with a self pep talk in his head and I was doing the same except I absently played with his hand as I did.

Don't leave kyle, and you'll be fine. nothing will Happen they are here to help us you'll be safe. I chanted into my head it seemed to work and by the time we pulled up to the pack house I was calm and ready to go.

They helped me out and situated me into my chair once we arrived and my father took a position behind me while my brothers each flanked a side of my chair their eyes scanning the trees around us for signs of the pack.

"It's all fine." I patted their arms to comfort them and they seemed to relax a bit, but only a bit. The Luna greeted us at the door her eyes filled with excitement as she pushed my father away and took his spot wheeling me into the house to the living room where her mate sat. "Honey look!" She squealed gesturing to me and he looked up taking me in with a soft smile.

"She looks so adorable oh honey your so beautiful" she gushed saying the last part to me and I blushed fiercely, Alpha Greg told me a long time ago that his mate was partly obsessed with me because she felt as much as a second mother to me as I felt toward her and that she always wanted a baby girl.

I didn't mind so much it was kind of nice having a mother figure. The Luna sat down on the couch and I wanted to move to sit next to her the alpha seemed to see that because he stood and carefully picked me up making me squeal in surprise before setting me down with his mate.

"Sorry Mary, I didn't meant to scare you." He said sheepishly and I laughed "it's okay Alpha, I was just scared you would drop me!" I laughed again as he faked pain placing a hand over his heart before flexing his arms out for me and his mate to see "have you seen these arms? Your alpha is mighty and strong I'd never drop you! Besides my wife would definitely castrate me if I ever did." he muttered at the end. I giggled and turned to see the Luna nodding along with his words. suddenly the doorbell rang making me flinch a bit in surprise.

"That would be the other pack members." Kyle seemed to materialize out of nowhere and moved my wheel chair into the closet, I sent him a grateful smile and he flopped down next to me wrapping an arm around my shoulder as the Luna stood to join her mate at the door.

"Welcome Alpha Dean, and Canvas pack warriors. were glad you could make it on such short notice."

"Of course, we owe you Alpha Greg." a deep voice taunted me from the door and it sent shivers down my spine. My wolf purred at the sound and I found myself on edge my heart in my throat as I waited for them to move into the living room.
