Chapter 56- Deal.

Kyle's P.O.V

I picked up the suit that Cali had hung up on the door last night and made my way to our bed.

Cali was still sleeping peacefully on her side, and I couldn't help but watch her as she breathed deeply. Her cute little body curled up into a ball.

I wish I could have stayed in bed with her this morning, but I had to get up.

I looked to her with so much love, so much passion. She was everything to me. I loved her, I just loved her so god damn much. My heart was ready to burst, I had so much love to give, I hope she knew that.

She changed my life.

I sighed before putting a fresh pair of boxers on and putting the suit on with extra care, trying not to wrinkle the material. Cali had spent a long time ironing my suit for me whilst I watched and moaned about the fact that I could do it.

But when did my wife ever listen?

My tie went untouched and before I could even move my hand up to do it, Cali moved in bed.

"Let me do it." She said sleepily before rubbing her eyes and rolling out of bed.

"It's okay, I can do it, love." I said as I looked at her. The natural sway of her hips did nothing to help my own body's reaction.

She commanded every ones attention and she didn't even realise it. But luckily, the only person who had her attention was me, and that wasn't going to change, I wouldn't allow it.

"I got it." Cali said before slowly dragging her body to mine. Her eyes were squinted as her pajama clad body pressed up against mine.

Did she have to do that when I knew I had to leave soon? Christ.

Her delicate hands knotted the tie perfectly and she kissed my lips softly before letting me go.

Before she could move further back, I took hold of her waist and brought her flush against my body.

"Where do you think you're going?" I asked huskily into her ear before showering tiny kisses down her neck.

"No where now," she breathed. I loved how I affected her. Just as much as she did me.

"That's what I thought." I said as my breath fanned against her neck causing little bumps to form in its wake.

"Don't you have a job to go to?" She asked as her hands gripped the lapels of my suit jacket. I looked down at her.

"You come first." I replied. She did. Whether I was going to work or not, my wife and my unborn baby were the only things that were at the top of my list.

"Alright, family man, I love you." She said. Her words still hit me like nothing I've ever felt. Christ, even much so.

Those three simple words sometimes weren't good enough, but I valued them all the same.

No amount of 'I love you's' could ever be enough for what me and Cali have. It was just impossible. There was something out there that felt more than love, and this was it.

"Baby." I said before kissing her with as much passion as I could give. I kissed her strongly and her hands knotted into my hair.

She wasn't going to let me go to work at this rate. She has always had me bound to her from the beginning.

"I need to go." I stated almost out of breath. Cali nodded but the intensity of her eyes told me she would have rather me stay at home. I would have too, but I needed to go so I wouldn't be late.

It was a killer, but it had to be done.

"I'll see you later." I said before kissing her again. She nodded as if lost for words and I instantly smirked knowing and loving the fact that she was affected by me and me only.

Call me a possessive dick head, but I just couldn't help it.

"Fucking love you." I stated before leaving the house.

On the way to the car I couldn't help but feel excited at the thought of our new home.

Cali loved it and it made me love it just that little bit more.

Hopefully, everything would be finalised soon. I knew Cali was just as excited as I was.

I made my way to the car and as soon as I was in the car I got the engine started.

It didn't take me long until I started to see the city on the other side of the window start to become in picture.

Tall buildings, glass buildings and everything else. It was a sight, most definitely. But it didn't even compare to my wife at home.

I shook my head and laughed. I could never get her off my mind.

Soon, I found the building I wasn't familiar with, but I knew it was the right place.

The building was similar to the one where we used to live, just obviously abit smaller here. Still, it was effective all the same.

I got out of the car as soon as I was parked and made my way inside.

The receptionist at the front desk clocked me as soon as I was in. I made my way to her.

"Hello, how may I help you?" She asked as she looked to me behind thick framed glasses.

Her black bun at the top of her head caught me at a distraction and the bold black eye liner and eye shadow did just the same. She was wacky, and I never thought my dad would employ someone just as wacky as her.

"Kyle knight, it's my first day working here." I held out my hand for her to shake and she did so. Her neon pink claws looking vicious and a little scary.

"You're Mr Knight's son. He talks about you a lot. Just go straight up." Her hand moved into the direction of the elevator and I smiled before making my way there.

Everyone seemed friendly so far, and I was liking it here already. No wonder why my dad was happy about the way the business was running.

It hurt me to know that I did have to rely on my father to get me a job quickly and easier but it was what I had to do to make sure my family where supported financially.

I wanted to do my own thing in the world and not have to rely on anyone, but I was going to be a dad, and I don't care what happens to a reputation or anything, I only care about my family.

I got into the empty elevator and made my way up to the twentieth floor.

The elevator went up slowly and I sighed and leaned back on the glass.

Soon, the elevator pinged and I knew it was my signal to get off.

The room ahead was big and spacious, it was modernised and gleaming. I loved it, even though it wasn't really my fathers style.

There was a desk outside of the office which I assumed was my fathers. It was empty and unoccupied.

I opened the door beside the desk and saw my dad working at his desk. His glasses perched on his nose and his head deep into some papers.

"Dad?" I got his attention as I walked over to his desk. I sat on the chairs opposite him.

"Son, there is such thing as knocking." He said, he didn't glance at me once. I chuckled.

"Sorry." I stated with a smile. He looked to me.

"I'm glad you're finally working for the company, I've wanted this since you were a little boy." He said. I almost wanted to cringe. Really, I didn't want to be here, it was really just last resort for now, considering I haven't been to university yet. But my father didn't know that.

For a bright guy he should have guessed. But then he didn't know about the baby on its way.

"I can't wait to get started." I replied. My father clasped his hands together from behind his desk and picked up a pile of papers. A mountain of papers. I regretted my statement already.

"Here you go, just fill out the blank spaces, I don't suppose that is too hard?" He asked and I shook my head before standing up.

"No." I went to the door.

"The desk is right outside my office." He pointed and I nodded before opening the door with the one hand I had left and shutting it behind me.

I sighed again before putting the papers down forcefully on the brown oak desk.

I sat on the chair and got to work.

It was almost lunch time when I had finished. My belly rumbled, I was starving. But I wanted to go home and see my wife.

I picked up my phone from the side and went to dial her number. She picked up on the third ring.

"Kyle." She said, her voice flooding through my ears and my whole body responded over the phone. She relaxed me in ways I couldn't even understand.

"Hey, baby, how are you?" I asked. She sighed.

"Good, just bored on my own, I want you to come home so we can do something." She whined. I chuckled but I wanted to go home to her more than anything aswell.

"It's okay, just a few more hours and you won't be bored when I get home." I replied. She sighed again.

"I hope the time goes by quick." She stated. I nodded my head even though she couldn't see me.

"I best be off, baby, see you later." I looked down at my desk. Cali said her good byes back and soon we were off the phone.

I kept the phone in my hand and dialled Matt's mobile number. He picked up almost instantly.

"Hey, is everything okay?" He asked with a worrying hint to his voice. I marvelled in how much he cared for Cali.

"Yeah, it's fine, I just rang to ask you for a favour."

"Oh what is it?" Matt replied.

"Would it be okay if you just went over to the house to check on Cali and give her some company?" I asked as I leaned my head in my hand.

"Where are you?"

"I'm at work." I stated.

"Work? I didn't know you had a job."

"I started today, so will you?" I asked again. I didn't want Cali to be bored and alone all day, it actually didn't sit well with me.

"Of course but just so you know, I'm pretty much baby sitting now Cali is pregnant so don't be suprised if I ask for money in payment." Matt replied. I chuckled loudly.

"I won't be suprised." I stated as I continued to chuckle.

"Good. Right, I'm going to check on your wife." Matt said as I can hear the muffling of movement through the phone.

"Thank you." I said before hanging up. Just as I had placed the phone back down, my father came bounding out of his office.

"Lunch?" He asked. I thought he'd never ask.

When it turned six o'clock, I was exhausted but I couldn't wait to go home.

When my father finally told me I could go home, I didn't waste any time in leaving.

The way back home was the same as the way there (obviously) but I was excited to go home.

As soon as I parked my car in the drive way, I made my way inside.

I could hear Matt's voice a mile away and Cali's sweet laugh. I smiled before placing my bag down and kicking my grensons off.

I padded into the kitchen where I found them talking over a cup of coffee.

"Hey, baby." I kissed Cali's cheek before looking to Matt.

"Don't kiss me." Matt pleaded with his hands up and I chuckled in reply.

"How was your day?" Cali asked as she looked to me.

"Long." I stated before pecking her lips again. Cali got off from the chair and put the kettle on. I smiled at her.

Matt got up from the stool.

"I best be going, I suppose I'll see you tomorrow." Matt said to Cali before he left. I shouted a thank you.

"Getting Matt to check up on me?" Cali asked as she looked down at the magazine on the table.

"Not so much checking up on you, more like saving you from boredom." I replied. She smiled. "So I was thinking, maybe we could go out for dinner? I want to treat my wife." I said.

She bounded off the chair with excitement.

"Yes let's go out." She said before grabbing my hand and pulling me up stairs. I chuckled as she pulled me.

"What's the rush?" I asked.

"Let's get ready, I'm starving." She said before opening the cupboard. She turned around to look at me. "And have I told you that you look really sexy in a suit?" My eyebrows rised.

"No, but you can tell me again." I said as I smirked at her. I loved her complimenting me, not because I needed her to boost my ego, but the fact that it meant a lot because it came from her.

I always valued her opinion.

"Well you do look sexy in that suit." She said cheekily and I couldn't help but walk up to her.

"What did I ever do to deserve you?" I asked as I looked down at her. She smiled cheekily again.

"Oh, I have news." My head turned to the side as I studied her.

"What is it?"

"I've booked us an appointment with the doctor." She stated. My mouth couldn't help but lift.

"Yes!" I fist pumped the air before kissing her. "I can't wait to tell everyone about our baby." I said truthfully. I was excited and so proud.

"We'll tell them soon, I promise." Cali replied before turning around to look through the open cupboard. I wrapped my arms around her waist and leaned me head against her back.

"I missed you today." I stated. She couldn't move to look at me as I had her wrapped up in my arms and her back to my front, but I knew she wanted to.

"I missed you too." She said. "How about letting me turn around so I can kiss you again, yeah?" She asked and I chuckled before letting her go.

"What are you waiting for?" I asked. Before I could utter another word her lips were placed on to mine.

Even now, they effected me just as much. I groaned into her mouth.

"I really missed you." Cali stated. My heart squeezed in love for her.

"Don't ever stop missing me." I demanded softly. I needed her to miss me, to want me and to love me. Without her I'd be dead. I needed her.

"Don't stop loving me." She replied my way. I could never do such a thing. I loved her so much it hurt.

"Deal."
