Chapter 20- Goodnight kiss.

"That makes you mine too, you know," I replied. Kyle nodded his head again.

"I couldn't think about being any one else's but yours," he stated. "It's just you and me, Cali, no one else,"

"Definitely," I agreed.

Here at this moment, I knew I would do anything for Kyle. I wanted to take risks, I wanted to do things I've never done before, I wanted to please Kyle and make him happy in every way possible. I just wanted Kyle. I realised that now.

Looking into his eyes from across the table, he took my hand in to his. The emotions rocketing through my body was too painful, too intense, but I welcomed them nonetheless.

The waitress came over once again with our drinks. She was still blatantly staring at Kyle.

"I will take your orders in just a second," she batted her eyelids at Kyle. "I'll see you in a minute," she winked at him. Just as I was about to bite, Kyle interrupted me.

"Stop flirting with me, stop the winking, the batting of the eyelids, just stop," he said to her in his demanding tone. "You're not very professional. I am here on a date with my girlfriend and I'd appreciate it if you left us alone," the world girlfriend had my heart racing.

The waitress scurried off like a rat in a drain pipe and I was thankful.

"She won't be bothering you anymore," Kyle smiled in my direction. I laughed.

"You didn't need to do that, I can fight my own battles," I replied.

"Well, every fighter needs support," he reasoned. "Besides, I didn't like her flirting with me either. Made me a little uncomfortable if I do say so myself," I laughed again at his response.

"Most guys would be basking in the attention," I said playfully. Kyle scoffed.

"Yes, but most guys don't have you," butterflies erupted throughout my belly. I beamed in his direction. He always knew the right things to say.

"Shut up," I breathed as I looked to the table.

"Still not very good with compliments," he chuckled. "Even after 5 weeks,"

5 weeks wasn't that long ago, and as soon as he said it, I automatically started to think that maybe 5 weeks wasn't actually that long ago and that Kyle and I were progressing too fast. The feelings I have for him came too fast, this could be fatal, this could most definitely end badly.

"Do-do you think we're moving too fast?" I stuttered out my opinion, suddenly feeling nervous and not knowing why. Kyle's face turned serious in a matter of a few seconds.

"You think we're moving too fast?" Was his question. I looked unsure, but I nodded. He sighed in reply. "Should this really have a time limit? Do we need a time limit to show us when we can start doing things? Saying things?"

"No, I just don't want this too start too soon and then end too soon,"

"Look," he breathed as he took hold of my hand again. "We're young, and I really really like you. I have since I've met you. You're the only person who can truly make me feel like I'm on top of the world, and even after 5 weeks, I want you near me more than anything. Only because it's been 5 weeks, it doesn't mean I should like you any less than I do now, it doesn't mean we have to hate eachother for a few more months before I start liking you,"

"But-"

"No, I'm sick of this world thinking people need time to do things. They don't think about what they want, they just think about the negatives or what people will think of them. If I want to be with you, or near you, or treat you like you're my girlfriend already even after 5 weeks, then I God damn fucking will," he let out, he was getting angrier by the second. "It doesn't need time, it doesn't need to have been 5 months, or years for me to finally tell you that I like you! I'm so so sick of people prolonging things, or making up excuses because they don't want to get into things too fast. I like you, it feels right, I don't need excuses, I know what I feel and I'd be damned not to tell you every single minute of the day," he let out all in one.

I sat there shocked for a few seconds, not knowing what to say or do. Kyle sighed again from infront of me, and his hand flexed tightly over mine.

"I'm sorry," I said. I didn't mean to make him angry. Kyle got up from his sit to kneel next to me. He looked at me with so many emotions swirling in the pit of his eyes.

"No, no, I'm sorry," he said. "I just get so angry. This time limit thing, I knew it was going to be a problem,"

"How?" I asked confusingly.

"Well, I just know that you over think a lot. And to be fair, 5 weeks isn't a lot, and I thought that maybe you'd want to distance yourself from me because it hasn't been that long," he said as his eyes deflated just a little bit. I touched his cheek soothingly. I never wanted to see him upset.

"Never," I replied honestly. "In other people's eyes, 5 weeks isn't a long time, and maybe too soon to know if we actually have got feelings for eachother, but to me it just feels right,"

"I have feelings for you, no doubt about it," he replied. It was almost as if he was determined to show me that he did have feelings for me. "I'm sorry for getting all angry, I didn't mean to, I just don't want you to leave me,"

"I'm not going to leave you," I said. And I knew I was telling the truth. I couldn't leave him, it would kill me. I was scared, I had to admit, I was scared that this could turn out for the worst, and that I could be left with a broken heart, but I am all for taking risks, and that's the risk I was going to take. I would do anything to be next to Kyle, even if it didn't even last that long.

I was always going to be happy it happened. Always. And even if Kyle and I don't even make it to being in a relationship, I promised myself I was going to be happy anyway. Even though, I wanted to be Kyle's girlfriend so badly, I wasn't afraid to admit that.

"Go back to your side of the table," I said to Kyle playfully. "You'll get leg cramp knelt like that," he chuckled in reply before doing as he was told.

"I'm a sucker for you, you've got me wrapped around your pinky finger," he sighed as he shook his head, as if he couldn't believe it. I laughed a little.

"Never did as you were told before?"

"Never, but with you it's different," he kept the smile playing on his lips and I couldn't help but smile back. "So, Cali, I've been thinking,"

"Oh?"

"About how to raise money for Mary's fund," he reasoned. "I kind of want to make it into a big charity,"

"So, a charity for Mary?" I questioned. He nodded in reply.

"We do a whole lot of fundraisers, we get people to help us raise the money, and I mean, we live in a kind of rich neighbourhood, I hope we can try and get a lot of us to help raise money for Bill and Mary,"

"What have you got in mind so far?" I asked. Kyle sat up straighter. He was getting into this buisness mode I had never seen before.

"Well, I was thinking maybe we could hold something at school, but something that will attract many of us highschool students," he said. I sat there thinking for a few minutes.

"Could we hold football matches?" I asked. Kyle's eyes lit up.

"Yes, and we can get the cheerleaders to do their thing at the matches," he waved his hands as if he didn't know what they actually did. "But how could we raise the money?"

"Well, it could be a big tournament, and people have to pay to watch, and maybe we could get the teachers to play, especially the ones many of the students dislike," I smiled in humour. kyle laughed.

"I would pay to watch that," he replied truthfully. "They're amazing ideas, Cali, I think we make an awesome team," his eyes twinkled. I nodded my head.

"Definitely," I agreed. "I'll talk to the head teacher and see what I can do tomorrow," I said. Kyle nodded his head.

"Maybe then we can hold something in the community to get the older residents to help raise money," he replied. I nodded my head.

Suddenly, a waiter came over with the menus. I was happy to see the brunette gone.

I took a look at the menu and my belly rumbled with the sound of all the food.

"I don't know what to have," I said.

Kyle sat there looking at me, he didn't even peek into the menu, it was as if he already knew what he was having.

"I know what you'll love here," he replied. "Do you want to take a risk and have what I'm having?" He asked.

I nodded my head after a few seconds. Why not?

"Sure," I smiled. Like I said, I was all for taking risks.

"It's like the relationship we have going, you'll take the risk and I'll be the one making you happy with that risk," he said playfully as his eyes twinkled with mischief.

"Very funny," I replied. "I like how you did that especially with the food example," I replied sarcastically. Kyle laughed, his head falling back.

"What can I say?" He chuckled.

"I love your laugh," I blurted out. My cheeks flushed red.

"Just as much as I love your laugh," he replied. "And the way you get embarrassed so easily," he replied humourlessly.

"Shut up,"

"That's your favourite word isn't it?" He asked. I shook my head and laughed.

"No, I just always seem to say it around you, it must be a sign,"

"Well, I'll never stop complimenting you so the words don't really have an effect on me," he replied truthfully. I rolled my eyes in reply.

The waiter came back just a few minutes later, Kyle ordered our food and I trusted his judgment.

Kyle made me laugh more than I ever could. He was charming and he always kept the conversation flowing. I was totally at ease, and enjoying ever minute of this date.

Finally, the food came, and it looked and smelt amazing. I dived in straight away realising I was extremely hungry.

Dinner was quiet, but we didn't need to talk.

And even after dinner, Kyle kept talking, never letting the conversation simmer.

"Shall I take you home?" He asked as he got up from the table just a few minutes later. I got up from the table too.

Kyle held his arm out and I entwined my arm through his. We fell into stride and we both made our way to his car.

As soon as we got to his car, he opened the door and I slid in. He then slid onto the seat next to me. He took hold of my hand before reversing the car. It was as if he couldn't stop touching me even for a second.

When we were finally home, he opened my door and I got out.

"I had an amazing time tonight, Kyle," I said honestly as I turned around to make my way up my drive. Before I could step any further, Kyle pulled me into his arms, spun me around and held me carried in his arms. My feet didn't touch the floor. "What are you doing?" I asked as I was held in the air.

He put me on the floor and spun me around through his arm as if we were dancing.

"I was going to ask you for a dance, but I didn't, so I am doing it here," he replied.

"Without music?"

"We don't need music," he replied. I laughed as he spun me through his arms again. As soon as I hit his chest, he stopped. His breath came out in rags against my lips. I closed my eyes to savour the feeling, and I also hoped he would kiss me again.

"Open your eyes," he breathed against my lips.

"Why?"

"Watch me," he demanded as he smashed his lips against mine. I would never get bored of his lips.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and let me fingers stoke through his thick, black mane. He groaned against my mouth.

Here I didn't care that my dad could come out any second. It was only Kyle and I, and everything seemed to fall away. Everything did when I was with Kyle.

"What was that for?" I breathed and panted as we fell away.

"What's a date without a goodnight kiss?" He asked.

"Why did I have to open my eyes?"

"Because when we kiss we become one, and I wanted you to see that, I wanted you to feel it as much as I do,"

I wanted this chapter to show that not all love stories have to have a girl who makes up excuses to fall for the boy. In stories, by five weeks we know the girl has feelings for the boy and vice versa, they just don't act up on it as much, but with Cali and Kyle, they show their feelings, they act up on it because they can't resist. Five weeks isn't so long, but I think it shows how much they have feelings for eachother in such little time. It's the same as other stories, I think Cali and Kyle just act up in it quicker:)

I hope you enjoyed, and I hit 1 million reads!! I am so so happy I couldn't have done it without you. I just love love love love you guys!!!x

My second book: I changed the name, but the story line is the same:)) maybe check it out if you haven't alreadyyyy:Dx
