I ran up to the cell door, hoping I would push through it before Wormtail locked it.

I was too late.

I slammed against the metal bars in defeat.

They have her. They have my Florence.

I need to get to her. The last thing we did was argue. I don't want there to be a last thing we did.

I could feel the stinging jinx wearing off. Next time anyone comes down here, they'll know it's me straight away.

"What are we going to do?" Ron asked from beside me. "We can't just leave Florence and Hermione alone with her."

"Ron?" A familiar voice asked from the very back of the large cell. "Harry?"

Luna appeared from behind a pillar as well as Ollivander and a Gringotts goblin. It was the one that helped me on my first day in the wizarding world.

Ron pulled out his deluminator and clicked it. Light filled the gloomy cell and we were able to see Luna fully.

I never thought I'd be so relieved to see her.

She looked as though she hadn't eaten in days, along with Ollivander.

"Luna?" I asked.

Before she answered me, a piercing scream travelled throughout the entire cell. My body went cold.

Horror surged through me. "Florence!" I shouted.

I was haunted by fear, sick with worry for her. I couldn't explain the horrible feeling of knowing there was nothing I could do from down here.

"We have to get out of here." I said gruffly as I walked back over to the cell door.

"No, there's no way out of here." Ollivander croaked. "We've tried everything. It's enchanted."

"Please! Please!" I could hear Florence cry.

"Shut up!" Bellatrix yelled in response.

Ron put his head in his hands. "Hermione's up there too. What if she's next."

"I'm not leaving her up there any longer. I can't." My voice broke as I reached down to my leg and pulled out the piece of mirror from my sock.

"You're bleeding, Harry." Luna said softly before looking at me with a confused expression. "That's a curious thing to keep in your sock."

Florence's screams picked up again. I ran up to the door and pounded on the metal bars angrily. The rage I felt was like no other. It was sizzling inside of me.

Ron said as he put his hand on my back. "We'll get out. We'll get to her, to them."

I took a deep breath in and out. I looked down at the mirror to reveal the side of Dumbledore's face. How could Dumbledore be in this mirror?

"Help us." I whispered.

I could hear footsteps coming down the stairs towards the cell door.

Ron clicked the deluminator and the lights went out. I quickly tucked the mirror into my pocket and stood up to the door.

"Let her go."

"Shut up. Get back." Wormtail demanded with his wand raised. He opened the cell door and pointed his wand. "You. Goblin. Come with me."

The goblin reluctantly walked over to the door, taking a final look at each of us as he did. Wormtail locked the door behind him and disappeared with the goblin upstairs.

I heard the sound of apparation from behind me. I quickly turned to see Dobby standing in the middle of the cell.

"Ah!" He yelled excitedly as he turned around and saw me.

"Dobby? What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Dobby has come to rescue Harry Potter, of course. Dobby will always be there for Harry Potter."

"Are you saying you can apparate in and out of this room? Could you take us with you?"

"Of course, sir. I'm an elf." He said simply.

I turned to Ron to see if he had any objections.

"Works for me." He shrugged.

"Right." I turned back to Dobby. "Dobby, I want you to take Luna and Mr Ollivander-"

"Shell cottage on the outskirts of Tinworth. Trust me." Ron interrupted.

Luna walked over to Dobby. "Whenever you're ready sir."

"Sir?" Dobby repeated. "I like her very much." He took her and Ollivander's hands in his own.

"Meet me at the top of the stairs in ten seconds." He said before apparating the three of them away.

Ron and I both backed up against the wall at either sides of the barred door and out of sight. We heard Wormtail make his way back down the steps as he heard the sound of apparation.

He opened the door and only took a step inside before something shot a spell at hit his back and he fell to the floor.

Ron and I exchanged glances before looking up the steps.

Dobby was standing there with Wormtail's wand in his hand. "Who gets his wand?"

I couldn't move.

All I could do was lay there and scream while my mother carved a hundred words into my arms.

After I still didn't talk, she raised her wand and snet the cruciatus curse at me a few times. It seemed to be her favourite one to use on me.

I think it was now that I really realised. The only world where I'll be loved by my mother, is the one I've created in my head.

I lay, unable to move, with my head on its side, in a pool of something cold, which I can imagine is my own blood.

My eyes flicked up to Draco who had stood back beside his father. His face was red. He had been crying. Yet he didn't help me. In fact, he held my hands down for her.

Talking of my mother, she had left me briefly to speak to the goblin.

"I am only going to ask you once more, goblin. Think very, very carefully before you answer." Bellatrix warned.

"I don't know."

"You don't know? Why weren't you doing your job? Who got into my vault? Who stole it? Who stole it?!"

I tuned out my mother's voice and moved my eyes to see Hermione on the other side of the room.

She has tried to convince my mother to switch our places multiple times, but I convinced my mother she could get more information out of me.

So, Hermione collapsed to the floor and did the only thing she could, cried. Cried as she watched what was happening to me, what would soon happen to her if she wasn't careful.

I slowly looked down to the words on my arm.

shame to the dark lord

Then my eyes landed on the last carving. It was the dark mark, carved into me using my own blood.

She had done it to remind me that I can never escape her or my father. To remind me that my fate will include me being by my fathers side as a deatheater, no matter what I do.

But I won't let that happen. Mark my words. Never.

A pool of blood formed on the floor from the carefully carved letter across my arm as I felt myself getting weaker. I watched through my barley open eyes as the red droplets fell from my arm to the floor. Who knew blood could flow so fast.

"Liar!" Bellatrix yelled as she slashed her knife against the goblin's face. "Consider yourself lucky, goblin." She spat and I heard her footsteps move closer to me. "The same can't be said for this one."

"Like hell." Harry yelled as he and Ron burst into the room.

"Expellairmus!" Ron yelled, sending my mother's wand flying into the air.

"Stupefy!" Harry yelled, sending Lucius's flying away from him too.

Draco and Narcissa shot spells at Harry and Ron. The two dodged them and shot spells right back.

My mother pulled me off the ground, breaking whatever enchantment she put on me and held her knife to my throat.

"Stop! Drop your wands!" She yelled to Ron and Harry. "I said, drop them!"

Harry instantly froze when he saw me. I could see the desperation in his eyes for Bellatrix to let me go.

Everyone now knows Harry's here. One word to my father and he'd kill him. Right in front of me.

And I'm sure my mother would want to be the one to return me to my father. She'd do anything for him, including killing me..........or not killing me.

Why wouldn't they just kill me after all this time? After all the trouble I've caused? I still don't know the answer to that.

Harry and Ron reluctantly dropped their wands.

"Pick them up Draco, now!" Bellatrix demanded.

Draco quickly picked up the wands and backed away.

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here. It's Harry Potter. He's all bright and shiny and new again, just in time for the dark lord. Come to save your girl, Harry? Come to save my daughter?" Bellatrix asked, cackling as she did.

I gasped as she held me tighter.

Harry clenched his jaw and his fists formed a tight ball.

I felt as though I could barely walk. I was so weak and tired.

Bellatrix held the knife closer to my throat and I quietly whimpered. She turned to Draco. "Call him."

Draco did not move. He only looked around in fear at everyone else in the room. His eyes landed on Harry for some reason.

Harry looked confused towards him.

"Call him!" My mother repeated.

Lucius pushed past him and raised his own sleeve on his left arm. He pulled out his wand as he lowered it down to the evil tattoo, he froze. We all did.

There was a small squeaking sound from above our heads.

I could see something on the glass chandelier I was standing right under. I couldn't exactly tell what it was.

Is that-could it be........dobby?

My mother looked up as a screw fell on the floor.

The chandelier squeaked a few more times before falling right above me. Bellatrix backed up quickly while pushing me forward.

I landed on the ground right next to where the chandelier had fallen, missing it by a few inches.

Harry ran over to me and picked me up from the floor, holding me up in his arms. All the blood I had lost meant I could barely stand, so Harry held me up close to him.

He left me momentarily to run over to Draco and grab our wands. It watched him. Draco practically handed them over.

Ron shot a spell at the deatheater holding Hermione and Harry shot a spell at Lucius, the last deatheater in the room still standing.

Harry helped me over to Dobby just as Ron grabbed Hermione hand and took her over too. Dobby was holding out his arms, ready for apparation. We all grabbed on to him, including the goblin.

"Stupid elf!" Bellatrix yelled. "You could've killed me!"

"Dobby never meant to kill. Dobby only meant to maim or seriously injure." He defended.

Narcissa got up and raised her wand. With a snap of his fingers, the wand was in Dobby's hands.

"How dare you take a witch's wand?! How dare you defy your masters!"

"Dobby has no master. Dobby is a free elf. And Dobby has come to save Harry Potter and his friends!"

Bellatrix turned to me. "Running doesn't matter, Florence. We will hunt you down if we have to." My mother hissed. "We know everything."

"You believed I was dead. So clearly, you don't."

She cackled. "My sweet girl, your father knew you weren't dead. You underestimate us."

"How? How could you possibly know?" I demanded.

She ignored my question and stared at me. She knew something. How could he know I wasn't dead? It's not like he can feel it? Unless-

"You're father knows everything. He is the dark lord. He is the greatest wizard of all time." She rambled.

"I'm sure he'd like to think so. But even in death, Dumbledore is greater." I said.

Laughter broke out throughout the room. "Hah! Dumbledore! The girl still thinks the old man is better than the dark lord!"

"Dumbledore was a fool!" Lucius hissed.

"Dumbledore has made some mistakes, everyone does. But he will always be the better wizard."

"You're lying." My mother sang. "You're father-"

"Anyone is a better wizard than my father, because there's one thing he doesn't have."

"And what's that?"

"Love."

And a nose. But we won't go there.

My mother's face grew furious. She threw her knife towards us.

Thankfully Dobby apparated us to the beach just in time.

Or so I thought.
