You noticed Charlie looking out the window listening to mum and dad's conversation.

"Charlie?" You called out to him

He immediately turned around to look at you.

"Is this why you're working longer hours...because dad lost his job....and because we were already struggling to make money?" Charlie asked

You sighed and sat on your bed. "Yeah it is....."

Charlie sat next you and wrapped his arms around you hugging you tightly, you wrapped your arms around him back and kissed his forehead.

"Don't worry, little man. I'll be okay. We'll be okay."

-

Charlie stared at the gates of wonka's factory and you stood beside him rubbing his shoulder comfortingly as much as Charlie appreciated it he couldn't help but feel.....sad.

"Did you see that some kid in Russia won the last golden ticket?"

"Yes it was in the paper this morning."

Charlie looked at the men passing by before looking at you with a slight sad face, your brows furrowed and you let him have a piggyback ride as you carried him home.

-

Charlie sat down in a chair at the table a sad frown on his face that crushed your heart as you looked at him you then perked up as you remembered something and you made your way upstairs before coming back down and crouching in front of him.

"I forgot to give this to you, I just didn't want you to feel anymore disappointed than you already do." You said holding out the wrapped present to him

Everyone looked at you and the news came on while Charlie opened his present.

"The last golden ticket found was a fake meaning: there is still one ticket left!" The news reporter exclaimed

Charlie pulled off the foil and his eyes widened as he grabbed the golden foil that covered the chocolate bar like a blanket until Charlie lifted it up and held it in front of his face with both hands.

You all turned to face Charlie his eyes with and stars sparkling in his pupils.

"It's mine! The last golden ticket!" Charlie shouted excitedly he stood up and ran over to grandpa Joe and handed it to him before he turned to you excitedly.

Your eyes widened as you noticed the wrapper of the chocolate was already torn slightly and suddenly it hit you like a bullet.

"Y/n is everything...." Your dad began

"My boss gave me that to give to Charlie he knew it had a ticket in it. He found the ticket and gave it to me and gave it to Charlie. It all makes sense. He said if I didn't show up to work one day he knew it be because Charlie had found a ticket and decided to take me. He knew..." You explained

Your mum and dad shared a look of shock and disbelief before turned to Charlie.

Grandpa Joe jumped out of bed and started dancing happily before he held out the ticket to you.

"Here read it out loud let's hear exactly what it says." Joe said excited

"Greetings to you the lucky finder of this golden ticket from mr Willy wonka I shake you warmly by the hand for now I do invite you to come to my factory and be my guest for one whole day." You read

-

"I, Willy wonka will conduct you around the factory myself showing you everything there is to see."

-

"After that then it is time to leave and you will be escorted home by a possession of large trucks each 1/3 with all the chocolate you could ever eat."

-

"And remember one of you lucky five children will receive an extra prize beyond your wildest imagination. Now,here are your instructions."

-

"On the first of February you must come to the factory gates at 10am sharp your allowed to bring one member of your family to look after you til then Willy wonka."

-

"First of February....but that's tomorrow!" Your mother said

"Then there is not a moment to lose Charlie:wash your face, comb your hair scrub your hands, brush your teeth, blow your nose, get that mud off your pants!"

"Let's all try and keep calm. First thing is to decide this who is going with Charlie to the factory." Your mum asked

"I think y/n should.without her Charlie wouldn't have found the ticket." Joe said

"But grandpa Joe,don't you want to see Willy wonka again?" You asked

"Yes I do but this wouldn't have happened without you or your boss." Grandpa Joe said with a slight wink

"It's fine with me." Dad agreed

"No,we're not going." Charlie said

Everyone looked at Charlie.

"The other day I heatf a woman say she would offer someone 500 dollars for a golden ticket I bet someone else would pay even more. We need the money more than we need the chocolate and I don't want y/n working harder than she already does." Charlie said

Grandpa Joe sat down sadly and you frowned.

'Charlie shouldn't be worrying about how much I work or about money...he's still a kid.'

"Young man, come here." Grandpa George called him over and Charlie immediately approached him.

"There's plenty of money out there. They print more everyday but this ticket there's only five of them in the whole world and that's all there is going to be only a dummy would give this up for something as common as money. Are you a dummy?" George asked

"No,sir." Charlie said

"Then get that mud off your pants and go to the factory with your older sister tomorrow." George said

Charlie smiled and grandpa Joe looked at you happily. Feeling excitement for you and Charlie.
