Tobiah's Pov:

The sound of a girly loud giggle woke me up. Startled I , at first, did not recognize the setting. A white soft blanket was dropped over me. A huge screen-Tv was turned off not making a sound. A small coffee table where my phone laid probably dead, where am I? Pushing the blanket off of me, I sat myself and continued to look around. A large sized dog captured my attention. That is certainly Jaden and I am surely at Cordelia's.

Coming to my feet the colored dog noticed my motion and started to grumble a little at my presence. He too stood and his brown eyes looked alarmed. Fear coursed through me as remembered Cordelia's words about Jaden; he is a dog trained to protect. He will face any strange invader and do some major damage to them, if not kill them. Her way to ease him is a secret word given by his trainer " kowtow".

"kowtow Jay" I hushed and immediately he sat back in spot not caring about my existence.

Following the loud eruption of giggles, I walked through the house to a small kitchen. Looking around I noticed that the color-theme of Cordelia's house is all blue, white and grey. The girly colors that lana adores such as light purple or pink were nowhere to be found. Smiling at how practical Lia could be even in real life, I continued to search around only to find her sitting with a man nearly my age sipping coffee and loudly giggling at his words. Both seemed very accustomed with each other and even Jayden did not mind the man's existence.

"Morning Sleepy Head." Cordelia saluted cheerfully.

The kitchen was small and neat. Everything on the counters was put to a perfect order. It looked fancy even though small and simple. The setting simply reflected its owner's true personality.

At the small kitchen island, Cordeila and the stranger , at least to me, sat . My eyes trailed to Cordeila who was in a mere huge tee. It was colored white and swallowed all of her body covering all her features and curves. My gaze followed each of its details, the huge neckline that fell on one side showing her shoulder, the big red words that covered the front of the shirt saying "Love, Blah, blah, blah..." and then the end of the shirt and how it ended by her knees. The shirt looked like a dress that wrongly fitted her but it made her cute looking. Never have I ever imagined seeing my boss in such laid-back attires and styles.

"Morning" I greeted back and walked closer to join their Starbucks bought breakfast ?

"Tobiah, late as always." Cordelia teased and a small smile tugged her lips upward.

Is she weirdly in good mood or am I making a big deal out of nothing?

"Princess, observing as always." I mimicked winking at her and her smile widened.

Did I wake up in a wrong dimension? Seriously Cordelia seems way too happy. What did this man do to her?

"So, this is Tobiah ?." the man suddenly joined offering me his hand to greet and but my gaze went quickly back to Lia asking for information.

"Henry , my ex fiancé meet Tobiah , my fake boyfriend. How many girls can say that now?" Cordelia introduced with a lighthearted giggle.

"Only you, Delia. Only you." The man or Henry replied shaking his head at her.

Why is he calling her "Delia"? Aren't they supposed to be cold and only civil around each other? He also knows about our plan and she is simply hosting him? Shouldn't they be celebrating their newly gained freedoms away from each other? Shouldn't he be ravishing his "muse" in attention and love? Getting annoyed by being over shadowed, I cleared my throat again signaling to both parties that I am still here.

"Where is your muse?" I asked surpassing all my limits but who cares?

"Tobiah ?!" Cordelia jumped back to her bossy tone but I continued on ignoring her.

"It is okay, Delia. My muse does not know of all of this, yet. I though plan to tell her soon." Henry explained with an honest smile.

"In one of your cheesy romantic gestures?" Cordelia teased and the his smile widened. Is the world blind to their chemistry or am I the only one seeing it? Why am I even feeling bothered by it?

" A painting will be delivered to her tomorrow. " Henry revealed winking at Cordelia and she started on guessing what he painted.

At that moment, I decided to that it is better for me to just let them be. Maybe they are discovering feelings? Maybe they became friends? Maybe, just maybe..? Why the hell should I care? Walking back to my earlier spot, I sat on the sofa and Jayden surprisingly joined me. He laid next to me without making a sound and I petted his head. Turning the TV on, I started watching the news and the forecast for today's weather.

After some time, maybe few minutes or a whole hour, I felt a light tap on my shoulder and a Starbucks cup of dark coffee was extended at me. Cordelia stood by the sofa offering me coffee and still smiling cheerily. Gone was her bossy looks, she now looks like a kid on Christmas, a kid that wore the closest thing she found and ran smiling to open the gifts Santa has left.

"Is our plan canceled ? " I questioned in murmur and Cordelia's eyes went wide open.

"Why would it ever be?" She questioned back in a higher more surprised tone.

"Henry and you..." I simply explained raising my shoulders and taking a sip from my cup of coffee.

"He already told you about his muse." Cordelia pointed out and I nodded a little but my feelings of annoyance never lessened in relevance to Henry.

"You seemed to muse him too." I in all honesty revealed and Cordelia laughed her heart out at my words.

"I do." She simply breathed after controlling her laughter and sat by me on the arm rest of the sofa. A minty and strawberry smell overtook my senses at her closeness and I couldn't but appreciate such light fragrance. Lana usually sprays her " eaux de parfum" the moment she wakes up and it took me ages to get used to its smell. It does smell good however it is overpowering. Shaking away my thoughts of Lana, I decided to focus at the matter in hand; deciphering the true annoying relation between Lia and Henry. Am I supposed to fight away possible lovers even in fake relations?

"You do?" I repeated grumbling in clear irritation.

"He painted me twice and called his last best reviewed painting "Delia". She informed and I froze for a reason not knowing what to do or how to respond.

"What are we doing then? What is he doing with his "muse" then?" I finally managed to ask turning fully to face Cordelia. I did sound angrier than normal but to all honesty I did not know why and did not care at all. My eyes shot to meet Cordelia's somber ones but they were still filled with vibrating energy and they made me shiver.

"He painted me because he sees me as most men do: an exception, a weird case, a powerful woman. He got intimidated once while asking about my monthly income, thinking that if we ever get together that I will end up being a snob to him. Discovering my true colors though, he found an interest in the contrast between my social image and my real one. He then painted me in both dark and light nearly washed away colors. Delia , the painting, is also of contrasts and fights between colors green for money and blue for my true self as it is my favorite color. He saw beyond the steel like image that is spread about me." She explained and I couldn't look away from the passion that burned in her eyes and how she sounded pained when talking about her public image. Cordelia did her best to keep the lowest profile between all billionaires however an article or two will monthly be published about her being a steel-woman conquering all native and foreign markets.

"You are not made of steel. Forget about all talks and articles. You are one brilliant woman and you do have a golden heart." I assured her and her lips tug upwards in a little smile.

"Thank you." Cordelia replied the lightest rosy color dusted her cheeks.

"So what will we do today?" I spoke changing the subject before it got too weird or out of hand.

"I am walking Jayden and probably going to meet Helena. You though can do all you want to do." She simply informed and at her mention of his name Jayden ran to her and raised his paw offering her to shake it.

"Two things do really amaze me: one how well behaved Jayden is and two how un-dramatic and demanding you are. If Lana had a day off, she would either ask for a date night if not day or a shopping day. She would drag me around endlessly from shop to shop till I run away." I said remembering the weekends that I spent either planning or holding on to hundreds of shopping bags.

"I am not Lana. Not all girls are like that. I am specifically far from being a "lana"." Cordelia noted and I couldn't but nod.

"You are not and I mean it as a compliment." I informed and she nodded back.

"Compliment or not, you now must leave, Toby." Cordelia ended uttering my name just like Lana used to do and winked at me as the other used to do making me laugh. My Boss/fake girlfriend is simply something else.

Hope that you are liking Coby's progress.
