Tell me what do you honestly think about it all.

Tobiah's Pov

"You should leave." she announced in her bossy tone without a care in the world.

While she continued to work the day off, I started to plan how our fake dating life would work. I asked her how we will tell people and Cordelia announced that that is my next task. I should find a way to make people believe in us. Shouldn't this be her job? Girls are usually way more talented and creative when it comes to romance and cheesy stuff. Why isn't she and Helena watching or reading some romance movie or novel to come up with a plan.

After googling stupid cheesy ways to prove that you are in a relationship for hours, I gave up. Different results were about telling your family that you are pregnant or what it is your baby's gender popped out of nowhere. I simply got a headache of such vain search and gave up. Maybe we simply should hold hands around the office!

Walking to Cordelia's office, I found her going through different files. Her hair is now put in a messy bun and her glasses were out of their hiding. She usually keeps them in her drawer till she is alone. She hummed some kind of melody as she went through the Spanish deal and didn't look my way or acknowledge that I was near. How is this relation going to work is beyond me.

I seeking revenge on Lana, have found the perfect little plan. Lana knew that she is basically my one and only love forever. I had a weird gut feeling saying that she was afraid to tie the knot. I was going to propose to her in less than a month, maybe she saw the ring and that is why she turned into a nonsensical drama queen...Heartbroken, I vowed to give her a taste from the same cup she filled: the cup of betrayal. Lana was always doubtful of Cordelia. She never thought that a girl can be purely business oriented only. Hearing about how I tease Cordelia, Lana jumped to the conclusion of my Boss being a flirt...

Clearing my throat, I shook the image of Lana away and focused on my plan. The next year will do us both good. Cordelia will break away from her arranged marriage and I will help her to search for love. I , on the other hand, will make Lana feel as bad as I am feeling. I will prove to her that I can have a relationship without her, that my life won't end without her. She might even get jealous and beg me to take her back...

"Leave." Cordelia ordered again.

"Cordelia" I called in a static tone signaling that I am here for an important topic.

"Whatever it is, I am busy Tobiah. Unless it has something to do with the Spanish contract then it can wait till tomorrow" she dismissed in clear exhaustion. One day she will surely overwork herself till sick.

"It is important but it has nothing to do with that deal." I revealed and instead of walking away I simply took my usual place on a leather black seat in front of her desk. A low grumble left her lips and I smiled evilly. I can drive her insane if I want to, I really can. Teasing her is one of my many talents.

"It is already six o'clock. Shouldn't you be sauntering away?"  She asked annoyed and took off her glasses showing eyes in the deepest shades of onyx.

"I am not a child to saunter away from my office." I pointed out lightly knowing that she will have a comeback ready

"I always thought of you as a three year old boy." Cordelia said smiling and raising her shoulders in the most innocent act anyone can pull.

"Not even a teen? I am offended, princess." I joked sticking my tongue at her and she shook her head in denial.

"Not even a teen." she repeated playfully

"Now, princess we must talk about our deal." I finally revealed the reason to why I interrupted her.

"Must we do this today? I already have a headache." she answered with a yawn

"We have to start immediately. Helena said that in order for Henry to reconnect with his beloved in public, we must be public too." I cleared out and she huffed like a kid and loosened her bun letting her hair fall in waves around her shoulders and down her back.

"How will we suddenly go public about an unexciting thing?" Cordelia plainly asked and crossed her hands waiting for an answer.

"They already ship us. We will just hold hands on the way out and they will go nuts here." I simply explained wishing that I didn't lose time googling the obvious.

"You sound like Helena." She pointed out and continued to cross her hands tighter

"Are you scared of holding hands, princess?" I teased knowing fully well that that is the only way for her to listen to my plan. If you tease Cordelia, she will do whatever to prove you wrong. She is just too stubborn and hotheaded to give up.

"Scared!" she mocked loud and stood walking my way.

To my utter surprise, she walked to me and held her hand for me to take it. My mind ,in a surprise haze, wouldn't let my body move. My eyes only followed her clothed hand up to her shoulder, neck then face. Our eyes met and she pointedly looked at her held hand. I , for a reason, shook a little. Then, I held my breathes to calm my sudden nerves and held my hand high to hold hers. She simply , after so turned around , and pulled me out of my chair. I though marveled at how warm and small her hand felt in mine. Lana's hands were always cold. I used to hold them to warm them up for her.

"Anything, wrong?" Cordelia asked eyeing me weirdly

"Nothing, I am just amazed at how easy this is for you. Girls usually make a fuss about holding hands." I honestly answered

"Fuss about interlocking hands? " She asked shockingly

"Yep" I emphasized

"Well, I am not interlocking hands with Leonardo DiCaprio or Taylor Kinney or Sam Heughan or even Harry Styles." she continued to set an example after another and I felt myself getting annoyed a bit

"Okay, okay...I get it." I simply interrupted her long list of guy names...Most of them I do not even know.

"Yep, now ready to face the crowds?" she asked with a smile and it amazed me how careless she is about such coming change in both our lives.

"I am." I assured nodding.

After so, the elevator dinged in arrival. We did not utter a word on our way down. Cordelia just calmly stood with our hands interlocked. I unconsciously tightened my grip on hers as the doors of the elevator opened and she offered me a calm little smile. Then, she led the way out while people gasped and hushed. Someone even yelled 'I knew it". I tried to forget all about them and Cordelia's calm behavior kept me poised.

"Thanks Tobiah" Cordeila hushed as we reached our cars then she pulled her hand away

"Thank you too." I replied with a small smile appreciating how strong Cordelia can be.
