Jay's POV.


"No, no, no, no." I said laughing as I pushed Mark's ass away from my face.

"Pretty lady I'm coming for you!" Mark said pointing his finger at Giara. He swayed his hips while walking towards. It was quite funny to watch since his bottom was kinda flat.

"Oh! No Marcus!" Giara laughed as Mark tried to twerk.

"MY ANACONDA DON'T, MY ANACONDA DON'T. MY ANACONDA DON'T WANT NONE UNLESS YOU GOT BUNS HUN!" Mark screaming while trying twerk. We were laughing till tears ran down our cheeks.

"OH MY GOSH, LOOK AT HER BUTT! OH MY GOS-" Suddenly music stops with Mark's ass in Giara's face.

"Get away!" She smack his ass pushing him away.

"Oww! That hurt." Mark said rubbing his ass where Giara smacked him.

"We are here." Kleinly, who was driving the limo said.

"Yo! Why did you cut the music? I am still dancinngg." Mark asked.

"Get off. He needs get back to the ball to pick up mom and dad." I said pushing towards door.

"Jeez okay, okay. No need to push buddy." I just rolled my eyes and followed him. Girls got off, struggling with their dresses.

"Wearing dresses is to much work." Rina said adjusting her dress.

"But you guys look beautiful." Mark said winking at Sophia who blushed.

"Okay that's enough. Let's go in." I said.

"Uh I-"

"Yo G!" Someone called out making everyone turn their head towards the noise.

"Who's he?" Rina asked.

"He's my friend?" Giara replied.

"What is he doing here?" I asked glaring at him. I remember him from the house. I also remember that Giara hated him. What's his name Mick or something.

"You guys see, I need to go." She said pointing her thumb towards him.

"Go where?" Mark asked.

"Something important came up and I need to be there."

"But- but-" Rina said.

"Okay. You go ahead. Bye we'll see you tomorrow." Mark cut off Rina. He nodded understandingly at Giara and she nodded back. "We'll be inside Jay." Mark said pulling Rina and Sophia with him.

"Umm. I'll get going." She said turning around. I caught her wrist.

"No you are not." I said.

"W-what do you mean? I need to go Jay." She said chuckling.

"No. You are not leaving again!" I shouted. "Why do you always have to leave when we are having good time huh?" I asked

"Jay, I understand but this is important." She said.

"What is more important than friends huh!?"

"Jay, I get it but you have to remember that I was hired to be your bodyguard not your friend."

"So you mean that what we have or whatever happened on the dance floor was nothing!" I shouted.

"Jay, let go." She said.

"Why? Why should I? First answer me!"

"Jay please try to understand- "

"No. I don't want to understand. Just answer my question. Was it nothing to you?" I asked again.

"Yes. It was nothing! " She shouted looking into my eyes. I let her wrist go shaking my head. "As I said before, I was hired to protect you. I am here to do my job and keeping friends happy is exactly not the part of it." She turned around.

"I know now why you are always alone." I said making her stop. "You, you always think about what you have to do. You don't think about the consequences. You don't think about what would others feel."

"Feel?" She chuckled. "I thought you knew better. I don't do well with these 'feels' Jay."

"It's not that you don't. It's just you don't want to. You are afraid. Not everyone is same Giara." She stared at me.

"I'll be leaving, I'm getting late." She said and turned around walking towards the Mick guy who opened the car's door for her.

"You are coward Giara. A coward for running away like that." I whispered and walked into the house.

"Hey." Mark said as he walked into the kitchen.

"Hey." I said gulping down the cold water.

"You okay?"

"Yeah." I nodded closing the cap of the bottle. "Where are the girls?"

"Uh they are in cinema room." He answered. "Are you sure you are okay there?"

"Why? Am I not supposed to be?" I asked.

"No. It's just that you looked pretty upset when she said that she had leave."

"Why Mark? Why she has to leave every damn time when we are having fun?"

"Jay, you gotta understand her. She can't leave her work just because we are having fun." Mark said.

"But-" He cut me off.

"Jay, stand in her shoes and think about it. What would you do if you had two options? Protect her from getting harmed or just stay here and have fun?"

"Obviously protect her." I answered quickly not hesitating.

"Exactly. Now you know why she had to leave." He said patting my back.

"I know. But Mark don't you know that she's running away from her feelings. What about that? She always thinks about what is best for others. But Mark, I don't want that best for me."

"But Jay think about it. You'll not only cause problems for yourself but her. You do know that she was hired to be your bodyguard." He said.

"Don't throw that sentence at me. I heard enough of it." I said huffing.

"But it's the truth Jay. Think about it. How she will face Uncle Blake when he'll come to know that she was having fun instead of doing her job. You do know that what happened when you were almost kidnapped."

"I know Mark. But I like her too much and its making me frustrated knowing that she feels the same but she trying to hide it. Mark I want her to be happy. I want her to feel and live like every other teenager."

"It's not that easy as you think Jay. She was brought up to be an assassin. She can't leave it behind just like that. It's her whole life there. You are asking her to leave her life." Mark said holding my shoulder making me face him. "Look, I want the same for her. I agree with what you are feeling but you have to look on the both sides Jay."

"You don't get it Mark. I am more upset that she is hiding her feelings. She is running away from them." With that I shook his hands off my shoulder and made my way towards Rina and Sophia who were in cinema room.

Hola guys! Here's your update. It's short and confusing, I know. I don't even know what I was thinking during writing this chap. But yeah there it is. Btw I wanted to discuss about something. Well, it's not quite a discussion when I'm the only one talking here 😁. So the thing I wanted to talk about is the quote that I have on the first chapter. "There is a MALE in FEMALE. MR. in MRS; HE in each SHE . Which prove that MAN can't live without a WoMAN." Yes this very infamous quote. I don't know why you guys are fighting over it. It's just a quote. I mean it's not like I am upset or anything. In fact it's quite amusing that some of you got so deep into it. Like you guys reached till Adam and Eve! And there were also some comments on human reproduction system. Like the nipples thingy. I am a science student too. If nipples have no use in male bodies remember that females have clitoris which is equivalent to male penis. What am I trying say here is that the quote is not about female dominance. It is about equality. I don't know from where some of you got the idea about it being female dominance. I put that quote there to show the equality among the genders. As I had said before I come from place where women are not given rights, where they are still held as weak. I just wanted tell that through the quote that, both genders should walk together and respect each other equally. I am a feminist. A feminist who believe in equal rights.
