Chapter 42
I get jealous because I'm afraid someone is going to make you happier than I do.
Jay's POV.
"H-how could you?!?!?" I shouted but he was long gone with dragging that she-man with him.
I can't believe he just did that. First he was siding with her and now he left ME FOR HER!! How could he?
"Hey Jay! What are you doing, standing there alone?" Rina asked heading towards me with Paul and Alex behind her.
"Where is Giara?" Alex asked looking around.
"Don't. Just don't speak that witch's name!" I growled glaring at him.
"Okay jeez, calm down dude!" He said.
"But where is she?" Rina asked.
"Why do you care? You also want to leave me for her? Go ahead! Leave me! I DON'T CARE!!"
"Whoa, whoa okay Jay. We'll not ask again. Rina stop talking." Alex said pushing Rina away from me.
"What? I just asked because she's always with him." She argued. At that I turned towards her, I knew they saw hell's fire burning in my eyes since Alex stumbled back and Paul pulled her closer to hide her from my wrath. There was complete silence until Rina decided she had to asked yet another stupid question.
"Wellllll.... Where is Mark? He left as soon as bell rang. I thought he would be with you."
"Why? Why do everyone care about them and not me? Am I not good enough for your company?!?" I shouted in frustration, moving my hands around like maniac to exaggerate while accidentally hitting Paul. "Oh I'm so sorry Paul. I didn't mean to hit you." He just nodded which reminded me of that she-man.
"Don't nod like her!!" I growled at him making him widen his eyes and step back as if saying 'Dude! What the hell is wrong with you?'
"Seriously Jay? What's wrong with you? That's Paul! He always nods!" Rina slapped my arm and walked towards Paul cooing.
"I..I..I just don't know." I mumbled in my hands defeated.
"Dude, I know how it feels like." Alex said putting his hand on your shoulder.
"You do?" I asked.
"Of course I do. I'm your brother dude! Bros for life." I just rolled my eyes. "I know what are you feeling right now. All pent up frustration, still building up every second. I know. I know." He said patting my back. He does know. I looked up from my hands to him, waiting for a solution.
"And I have a solution for that."
"Tell me!" I demanded in desperation. I just wanted to get rid of this frustration.
"You need to get laid!"
"Okay I need get lai- Wait what?!?" I turned towards him in disbelief and annoyance.
"Yes. The best way to feel relieved and satisfied is to- - ouch! Rinaaa!" Rina slapped back of his head.
"All he need to do is talk with Giara and get rid of whatever he is feeling right now." She said.
"Giara? Huh? Where did she came from?" Alex questioned rubbing his head where Rina had slapped.
"No. I don't." I said.
"Yes you do before you eat up us." Rina said pulling Paul towards the cafeteria.
"I'm not talking with her!" I shouted, she just waved her hand.
"Jay dude? I have a question. Where did Giara came in all of this? You being frustrated? Do you want to bang her!?"
"Alex seriously, you need to shut your mouth before I do something. And that was not 'a' question, they were 'questions' you asked there." I said making my way towards cafeteria.
"Whatever. But seriously do you want to? Because damn boy I want to. I mean just look at her-" I grabbed him by his collar before he could complete the sentence.
"If you don't shut your mouth right now, I will punch your stupid face!" I growled glaring him down.
"Okay, fine, fine! I'll shut my mouth." He lifted his hands doing 'I surrender' sign. I released him. "But nobody calls my face stupid. It's not stupid. It's anything but stupid okay! It's sexy, hot. Look, look at my jawline sharp as knife. Right ladies?" He said winking at girls who dreamily nodded at him.
I just rolled my eyes and pushed the cafeteria's door open.
By the way where did they went off to? Are they here? I turned around looking for them. Nope, no, nah. Maybe they are not here. I turned back around. Where did they go? I picked up the disposable bottle and took a sip of water, when I caught something. What. The. Fuck. Are. They. DOING?!? I slammed the bottle on table making the water to spill.
"JAY!" Rina shrieked. "What the- -" I crushed the bottle still glaring at them. What the hell they think they are doing?
"Oh! It's Mark and Giara. Look we found them. Huh? Is something going on between them? They look pretty cozy." Alex piped in. I didn't even notice him sitting beside me.
'Oh how would you? You were busy looking for your best friend and crush.' My conscience said. 'And see you found them. Holding hands.'
"SHUT UP!" I bawled slamming my hand on the table.
"Seriously dude? You can just say no. You don't have to shout like a caveman every damn time!" Alex said. I just ignored ignored him.
"Alex, honey I think you should keep your mouth shut okay?" Rina said.
"But- -" He started but stopped. Maybe Rina glared at him. I don't know because I was too busy glaring behind Rina and Paul at Mark and that she-man. Mark was holding her hand and staring in her EYES!? Wait. Is she- i-is she blushing? Oh hell no!! I'm gonna- -
"No- no, no. Jay stop!" Rina exclaimed. "Alex hold him down!" Alex pushed me down on my chair. "Jay you need to calm down okay. Deep breaths. Take deep breaths. Hey! Jay look at me." She pulled my face away from them making me look at her.
"Good. Now take deep breaths! One...two..." I did as she told me, calming down myself.
"Jay violence is not the key. Peace is. Think of Mahatma Gandhi." She said.
"Rina I am calm. You can stop now." I said.
"You sure?"
"Yes." I replied rolling my eyes.
"Okay."
I sighed and looked up again to see Mark getting up with his lunch tray.
"I'll see you guys later." I said getting up and following Mark.
"Okay. Jay remember deep breaths and peace." Rina shouted.
I dumped my tray and pulled Mark by his collar.
"Woah! Jay? What the hell?!" He exclaimed.
"Just shut up and keep walking." I glared at him.
"As if I have a choice. You are dragging me!" He shouted struggling to free himself. "Let go off me Jay."
"Not happening." I glared at him again and pushed him towards bleachers making him lose his balance and stumble.
"Ow! Jay seriously? I could have hurt my head or something."
"What the hell were you doing?"
"Excuse me? I am suppose to ask that since you were the one dragging me by my collar." He glared.
"You knew I liked her right? Yet there were you holding hands, staring in her eyes like a love sick puppy!!"
"Whoa! Whoa! What are you talking about?"
"You know exactly what I am talking about. I saw you both getting all lovey-dovey!"
"Okay first of all you need calm down. Secondly we were not getting 'lovey-dovey'. I was talking about what happened between you guys. I was asking her why she lied."
"Oh yeah? You need to hold hands for that huh!?"
"Okay I know that you are blinded by jealousy right now- -"
"Jealous? I'm not jealous. Who said I am jealous? I am just-" I stopped when I saw Mark was giving me 'Really?' look. "Okay fine, I was jealous." I said defeated causing him to grin. "What are you grinning about? You were clearly flirting with her!"
"I was not. As I said we were talking about what happened yesterday."
"Then why was she blushing?"
"Blushing? Are you talking about the same pretty lady Jay? You know she would never blush right?" He said chuckling as if I was babbling nonsense.
"You are delusional Jay." He said patting my shoulder. "And super jealous." I slapped his hand off my shoulder.
"Whatever." I said rolling my eyes.
"Are you done? Or do you want to punch me since I held your love of life's hands?" He teased laughing.
"Shut up." I pushed him. "By the way, what did she say?"
"About what?"
"You know what Mark."
"Why? Why do you wanna know? Why would you care about what she says? You hate her right?" He teased again.
"You know what? Never mind!" I huffed.
"Okay." He shrugged and pulled me in chokehold.
"Ugh! Let go Mark!" I said pulling at his arm.
"Why would I? You dragged me here by my collar. You made a huge dent on reputation."
"As if you have any." I snorted.
"You ass!" He shouted tightening the grip.
"Ow! Ow! My neck Mark!"
"You're such a baby Jay." He said releasing me. I just rolled my eyes and rubbed my neck.
"Oh! Did Aunt Rose inform you about the ball?"
"Yeah she did. You gonna be there?"
"Yep." He nodded.
"Ugh! I don't wanna go." I whined.
"Such a whiny child." He shook his head. "Why though?"
"Because my date is none other than she-man."
"What?" He howled with laughter.
"Stop laughing. What about you? Who's your date?"
"Don't know. I'll go solo."
"Okay but today you are coming with me."
"Where?"
"Mom wants me to go pick up my suit and dress for her."
"Okay." He shrugged.
"You could've told me before disappearing." She-man said pushing herself off the wall, she was leaning on.
"Oh shit pretty lady!! You scared me!" Mark yelped. I rolled my eyes. I'm used to her popping out of nowhere.
"Sorry." She nodded at him. "We should get going if we don't wanna be late."
"Yeah, let's go!" Mark said walking ahead. She stared at me.
"What?"
"You first." She said motioning with her hand.
"It's not like someone's gonna attack me." I said walking with her following behind.
"You never know."
"Seriously dude! Why would I want to know what King Louis XIV did when he was alive? It's not like he was my uncle. He is dead. There's no use of this stupid history. History is past. And we are taught to forget past and live in present yet here we are learning history!" Mark was going on and on since Ms. Nutters class ended. And it's been forty five minutes.
"Mark we get it. That test was not important. You can study for the next one, now that you know your mistakes." I said trying to stop him.
"Mistakes? I got a E! Who gets E?!?" He shouted.
"Considering that you don't know what's BC and AD. I think you can get worse than that." She-man spoke unlocking my Olivia.
"Like I said it's history. Past- -" Mark was about to go again.
"If you want to stay conscious then be quiet." She glared at him.
"But pretty laddyyyy......." He whined. She just ignored him getting in the drivers seat.
"You do remember right? We have to get my suit and dress for you." I said as she started the engine.
"Dress? Is it really necessary?" She groaned.
"Yes. It's a ball. You are 'my' date. I don't want people questioning me why I brought a man as my date." She glared at me. "Eyes on the road." I smirked when she immediately turned her attention on the road.
"Yeah!" Mark exclaimed making us turn our head but she again immediately turned back when she remembered that she was driving. "I want you to see you in dress too pretty lady. Plus it would help you to disguise yourself."
"Whatever. Where is this place to get that stupid dress and your suit?" She asked.
"Watson Street!" Mark exclaimed making her roll eyes.

"Here we go." She said before turning off the engine.
"Welcome! Welcome!" Melissa came running towards us welcoming us. "How are you my handsome boys?" She greeted Mark and me kissing our cheeks.
"We've been good Melissa." I said greeting back. She smiled and turned towards she-man.
"And who is this pretty little thing?" She asked twirling she-man's hair. "You finally got rid of that witch huh? Thank god. I don't know how long I could've put up with her tantrums for you." Melissa said locking her arm with she-man's who kept trying to free herself.
"Did everyone knew her true colours beside me?" I questioned. Only I was being fooled!
"Well if you had used that thing called brain that's inside you skull then you might have realised that she was fooling you." She-man retorted making me glare at her.
"Oh feisty! I already like her!" Melissa exclaimed. "You've got yourself a fine girlfriend Jay. A beauty with brains."
"She's not- -" I tried to deny.
"I know right. He's lucky to have me." She winked at me. Mark kept snickering behind his hand.
"Yes he is. He really needs someone to save him from all those greedy people in the world." Melissa said before clapping her. "Now that's enough let's get on with the suit and dress. Your mother called and she wants you to look best. And I'll get nothing but best for this pretty girl." She said pulling she-man with her.
"What about me?" I shouted.
"Claire will look after you! And Mark honey don't follow us!" She shouted back which made Mark to stop and pout.
A/N:
The author is back from hell to finally update!!!!!! Yay!! I'm just happy that I finished my exams and back to my daily routine. It's was hard not to sleep and study all those chemical formulas and stuff but now I'm finally free. So be happy. I've decided that I'll be update every Thursday. There might even be a surprise update. And don't worry there will be no more big break until I complete this story. Btw there is Jay's Olivia up there^^^
